For anybody interested I put 285/75/R-17 Nitto Ride Grapplers on a stock 2022 Willys. These have a 34 inch OD, they fit fine, no rubbing anywhere. I did have to raise the spare tire mount to clear the bumper. Used a Quadratec adapter for that. I believe it was about 80 dollars and took an hour to install.

Many people say you can’t go off-road with 35s and no lift, but haven’t tried it. Unless you already have experience and like wheeling difficult trails this is a great set up if you’re starting off with easy to mild trails.
I had a buddy go offroad with 35's and no lift.... lets just say he went ahead and got the lift.
Platinum Wave Sounds did he have flat fenders??? I rubbed with stock fenders on the street. The flat fenders made the difference. Like I said mild trails. Nothing too flexy but enough to get you hooked and building up your rig as you get into more difficult trails.
@@fordracerforever Different fenders will definitely help. However your articulation is not going to be as good say if you just went ahead and threw on a 2.5" lift. You still keep that lower profile and can flex a little more. Just my opinion though from experience.
@@asperbergers7136 yea that’s true another thing is that I noticed is that the rubi springs give you and additional .5”-1” of clearance. But yes 2.5” is what I would go with
Rub a dub on the trails. Better not disconnect that sway bar.
Why is the top off like its beach ready
Do you have to change out the rear fender flares as well? I have a 2021 wrangler Willys edition, and i want to put bigger tires without lifting it
Mines a 2022 Willys and I'm running 34 inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers, no rubbing. You will have to raise the spare tire mount. I used a Quadratec adapter.
Could you please give front flares reference or part number? Are they the same as the Rubicons or (even) higher? Thx. 🤙
Not sure about the front specifically, but I put 82215742AC (includes all 4 fenders) on my 2020 Sport. They are the same as the Rubicon fenders.

So does you service department condone 35" tires on a wrangler sport with the dana 30 front axle? Seems a little too much for the axle.
35s are okay for the dana 30. Many people running it since release with no issues. 37s are questionable though.
@@LukaDaudt I just had my wrangler regeared to 488 and put 37s on it. It feels like stock again!

Why do all these, no lift, videos always use a Rubicon? It really is lifted compared to a Sport, Sport S, or Sahara. Not to mention a higher mounted fender. So, the 35s are going to cause problems on the non Rubicons.

No spacers needed
This has the Rubicon fender flares on don't forget.
It has aftermarket wheels that stick out further so no spacers needed
Looks cool but not practical for off-roading especially in the SW United States terrain
