With a franchise like Scream, we become accustomed to people dying from the moment the movie begins. But throughout all 6 movies we have this journey where we go with various characters, whether it be survivors, side players, killers and all the rest. So when a character dies, you’re faced with the glaring question or consideration of what direction everything would have headed towards if those characters lived.

Ok hear me out amber is being live streamed by Ghostface to her so my theory is there is a 3rd killer and what if and just what if the tall 6ft Ghostface wasn't amber who was at the bar with the others and was actually stu who groomed amber and Richie and stu got revenge on Dewey and he disappeared after amber and Richie was killed who is now playing out the original plot of scream 3

What if Jill, Angelina and Stu (the mastermind) were all still alive and it culminated in a final showdown.
That's a fucking movie. Imagine Jill betraying, & stabbing Stu in the throat in the final act for all the glory on some crazy shit. Stu plays possum until the time comes for the last scare of the movie, then Sidney inevitably blows half his fucking head off with a revolver. Something like that would be nice.
I can see them being masterminds and returning in Scream 7 with Stu being disfigured and Jill having stitches from were she got shot

I personally think Stu is alive, there is a theory that he lived and his parents had him committed and hidden away. He is running a cult of ghostface copycats from behind the scenes and will eventually return and reveal he is alive
He uses his sister's car to flee the scene like a Ghost and he goes on the lamb and stays low leaving Billy Loomis for the dead. Some friend he turned out to be. He recuperates then plots his revenge against Sidney Prescott.😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

That was so great! You should do more what if of scream because I will watch every of it.
Stu found Billy's mom, persuaded her much like how Sydney's brother persuaded Billy. Stu was much more the deviant and watched and studied many horror movies, with Randy mostly. Him also having a psycho mother, he makes Billy's mom psycho, showing videos or whatever out of context or telling his BS version of how it went down. He let Billy think and appear to be in charge, for many reasons.
What did Sydney's dad see and hear being held captive? Probably Stu doing all the creative masterminding.
He probably knew and/have met at least one of the killers from each of the movies in different circumstances, like a cult personality kind of like Manson, maybe his mom was one of his peoples? Maybe promised if they failed, he'd get the survivors got one way or another.
But who actually murdered Stu's nephew, and why?
Bottomline; Stu's still in love with Sydney.
Knowing that, which one of them actually killed Sydney's mother? I say Billy did the first one, which really inspired Stu.

stu survived locked in a mental hospital in his room he has his dolls from his house. sidney visits him for help as she is being hunted again. during the movie, Stu escapes the hospital and kills the killer, then tries to kill sidney.
Scream 2 was set in 1997. Scream VI confirms that
yeah facts but according to the idiots it took place in 98 but the movie came out in 97 the actual timeline is 97 so people don’t know what they’re actually talking about so there for they treat radio silence like shit all for nothing you’re right about it but I don’t think so it still gives clarity that Stu and Mickey could work out some type of plan
Wouldn't the camera that gale place sort of debunk that theory? Remember gale placed under the TV on top of the VCR so it most likely caught billy having a tantrum cutting up the couch, Stu jumping on Syd etc...
Also Sidney’s Dad survived and is another witness.

I would say that maybe Stu would've faked his death had he survived being ghostface in the shadow
I recently rewatched Scream 2 and wondered why Sidney's father did not travel to Windsor College to protect Sidney? The film would have taken place over a span of at least 30-36 hours. So unless Neil Prescott was overseas on business, he would have had plenty of time to catch a flight and travel to Windsor College in Ohio from California.
Even if he was travelling in the U.S for business, most places and flights from U.S cities do not take any longer than 12 hours to get to Ohio. Maybe he missed the initial news story on the theatre murders at the opening but it would have been reported on the news regarding Cici's murder given that Sidney Prescott was at the same college. This is still a 12-24 hour window for Neil to get on a plane and travel to the college.
Or at the very least, they could have had a scene where Neil calls Sidney to see if she is safe and ok.
I am just curious why he was not referenced at all during Scream 2.

Mickey is 100% dead. He was shot more than 10 times by Sidney and Gale.
he was never shot in the head and I see plenty of people survived those type of gun wounds so therefore I think he is still alive just like Jill just like Charlie and Stu and Angelina if she’s a part of it

Let’s changed escaped to survive the TV to the face. He was fairly loyal to Billy’s plan. Mrs. Loomis being in contact with Stu wouldn’t go unnoticed I’d think Sid -and- whomever else survived would keep taps on Stu especially Dewey. You are correct we wouldn’t play a part in future incidents or sprees maybe vicariously though other killers or players. Mickey surviving his gunshots on the other hand being locked up with Stu seems like a mission accomplish for him fame, and recognition for his spree.
Btw I was thinking about this director for scream 7 it could be Josh Ruben who did Werewolf Within? That was pretty much Scream with a werewolf

I think the fact that Sidney had already falsely identified Cotton it could affect how trustworthy her testimony could be perceived by the public in regards to Stu's side of the story if he was to try to counter hers.
But , Gayle and Randy wouldve been there to back her story up.

Who Stu he kind of was but I don’t think he was locked up I still think he’s in hiding somewhere and he has connections to go to Woodsboro and New York without being seen by acting like a different person like it’s that simple I don’t think he’s actually locked up or in a mental asylum
Stu and Billy were best friends, i doubt highly that leave billy holding the bag, and secondly the moment the video that Gale took came out, every cop would be looking for him and he would have been arrested.
Not so best friends, Billy and Stu's relationship was dysfunctional.

Stu macher returning is likely at this point and needed also Matthew Lillard even stated he would come back if neve does and since she announced her return i personally think matt is next in secret of course because they wouldn't give away his return
I honestly think later on someone like Detective Kirsch would of found a way to break Stu out considering his daughter is his biggest fan and possible crush and adding Stu into that story? Would of been huge and considering Scream 6 was focused on the Shrine theater and having so many easter eggs. I can just see Stu being an outside force of that story, and while the fight was brewing on Stu managed to save Quinn leading to a follow up story later on. Out of all of the sequels, I think he would of made the biggest impact in 6 imo and I just love Quinn as Ghostface and how crazy she was and how stab happy she became.
While I'd totally watch a version of the series with this exact plot design, I admit I really do prefer him being dead, and I love the Scream 1996 ending feeling like a legitimately happy ending and being a legitimately happy ending for a slasher film where good prevails. Every Scream movie goes for that ending as is, and I kind of love it. 1, 2, and 3 do this really well, especially.

I wouldn't mind a what-if scenario about if Jill Roberts survived Scream 4 and how that would impact Scream 5. Since the original idea was that Kevin Williamson wanted Jill to survive Scream 4. Go off to college only to be targeted by a killer who knew her secret that would be a fascinating story to tell if Scream 4 didn't end the way it did.

I agree with that statement. Mikey was still too power-hungry for Stu to be involved with the return of Stu. I think Stu returning would be an interesting twist but wouldn't be allowed because of too many faults that would follow with the characters.
Stu is Alive and leads a Ghost Face cult that includes every killer from 2-6 or more.

Scream 7 plot idea:
Scream (2022)-scream vi still happened and we see Sydney and mark living there life as scream vi takes place in New York and Sydney and mark are attacked in whatever town they live in and the killer are revealed to be either Stu and Mickey or Stu and Vince’s mom because she was supposedly related to him as said on scream (2022)! What do y’all think?
Not a bad what if. I pray they don’t bring Stu back in future movies. It would ruin the character and I’m sure it would be a nightmare for a writer to logically explain how he wasn’t around for nearly 30 years. Yet somehow had influence in every movie 😂.

@@user-ih2tr7rt9r I love all the ghostfaces especially Stu but like as much as I love Stu/Matthew Lillard, like him being revealed as being alive I would find it deeply unsatisfying. It wouldn’t even be a shocker at this point, I don’t really see the point in bringing him back and it does nothing to benefit the franchise in moving forward. Not even 1 character from the movie mentioned him being alive in almost literally 30 years since it happened + it would make zero sense to never mention the fact that Stu is missing every single time a new Ghostface killing spree starts up. I’m pretty sure he would be a prime suspect each time but yeah 😅
I know Scream 6 mentioned Stu a lot like they were foreshadowing something but I think they’re just toying with us. So at this point I believe that every single Ghostface is considered dead. 😭

Because what I meant by "main" Ghostface killers, i meant Billie, Nancy, Roman, and Jill. Those are the 4 "HEAD" Ghostface killers that Sidney had to deal with.They all got shot in the head by Sidney, except Roman Bridger. Jill got shot, but didn't get shot in the head. Plus, I was not counting Stu, Mikey, Amber, Charlie, and the Kirsch family in my response, dude. Stu, Mikey, and Charlie were just stand-ins, they really didn't have anything to do with Sidney, except being told to go after her. Now, Amber and Richie didn't go after Sidney, Sidney put herself in that situation. So, I really don't get what you're trying to tell me.
