The messed up thing is, i think they only had motive for killing like two people, obviously they killed Sidney’s mother cause Billy blamed her for screwing around with Billy’s dad (which it’s also messed up they put all the blame on her mother which yes she was partially to blame cause I’m guessing she knew he was married, but they never seemed to condemn his father for his part in the affair), and Casey cause she dumped Stu for a football player but I dunno what their motive was for wanting to kill Tatum, she seemed like she was a good girlfriend to Stu and I dunno what their motive for wanting to kill Sidney was but the only thing I can figure is Billy also somehow hated her cause of what her mother did which is ALSO messed up.

Timothy Chalamet would've been an interesting Billy. Or the bully from Euphoria. Can picture different people playing Stu...but Lillard played it in a way that only he could.
Not necessarily the scene where billy reveals the motive shows a certain look wich kinda just solidified that stu had no motive and was just doing it for shits and giggles
To be really honest, I think Stu didn't really wanted to kill his friends and Sidney cause if you watch the movie again Stu didn't really do that much of killings. He mostly just helped Billy most of the time. So if Stu does come back somehow in scream 7 he'll probably not be the killer cause he just doesn't feel like killing people.
Or if he came back in scream 7 he might kill people to avenge billy- because maybe a reason Stu could’ve refused to give the knife is because he was worried about Billy’s mental health after hearing the motive because when Sidney stabs billy with the umbrella Stu comes running at Sidney straight away almost as if he was mad that Sidney hurt billy because I don’t see any of reason he’d go charging and risking his life but in scream 7 it could be trying to avenge billy by trying to kill Sidney but that’s my beliefs
I don’t know about that. Even if Stu didn’t do some killings himself, he was still okay with letting them happen. Like he was perfectly fine with having Billy kill Tatum. Plus, you have to remember they literally only killed 5 people all together. And one of them wasn’t even planned, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time(Kenny). 6 people if you count Maureen, even though that happened off-screen.
Stu definitely killed Steve and Kenny. Also imo he was the one who killed Tatum, as ghostface went into the house again and Billy came from outside after that. So Stu killed 2 or 3 out of 5 victims - almost half or more than half. He wasn't just a passive accomplice. So if Stu "didn't want to kill his friends" then he was very, very bad at acting like it. He clearly loved to murder people. Seriously, can you not see how much he enjoyed it? The way he acts during the finale makes this absolutely clear. Billy was looking for revenge. But Stu just loved killing people and had a blast with it.

Stu shouldn't have given the knife back to Billy. Billy stabs Stu 4 more times after he gives him the knife back (after they each stabbed each other once). Billy was more than fine with Stu either dying or taking the fall for him. "Once I supplied the motivation all the kid (Billy) needed was a few pointers. HAVE A PARTNER TO SELLOUT IN CASE YOU GET CAUGHT, find someone to frame. It was like he was making a movie." -Rowan
He didn't want to give him the knife cause he realized how much that s hurt getting stabbed. That's what matt told me anyways when we asked him in tampa. But that's just his opinion( he trusted him enough to say come on baby get it up and let him stabb him.) It changed when he was like nah this s hurts
I know the screenwriter and the crew have already commented this story line. But still I have different interpretation of Billy and Stu's relationship. The point of the film actually is *much deeper* than we think. Both original Ghostfaces were not gay/bi but *eccentric* guys with *sadistic* tendencies (even their final stabbing each other I see as a game of two crazy sadists, not as ‘sexual penetration’). Sidney and Randy *hated* Billy. That’s why they used such phrases like _'pansy ass-momma’s boy'_ and _'homo-repressed',_ really insulting ones back in the 90s. *There was also stereotypical thinking for that time.* The first example we see in the fountain scene when Randy replies to Stu's _'I didn't kill anybody'_ by _'It needs a man to do something like that',_ implying jokingly the latter *is not a real man because of his eccentricity and ‘unmasculinity’.* Another stereotype is *like mother, like daughter* (the scene where the two murderers drive the innocent girl to the kitchen and want to kill her for being born to the ‘slut mother’). One more and most highlighted stereotype in the picture we see with the main duo of ‘Scream’, that is, *if you’re not enough manlike, you are DEFINITELY sexually attracted to men.* However *this flick BREAKS ALL OF THEM* (we can see it through the final when half of the characters who break the rules of survival in horror films don’t die and unexpected plot twist when it turns out there were not one but two killers). Stu *did love* his own bizarre features despite the fact that they could *easily be confused with homo/bisexuality* (the scenes where he shows his tongue, makes faces, plays with Randy's ear, or ‘feels a little woozy’ after being stabbed as examples). Billy’s nature was the *same** but he *did hate* that part of him being afraid to be called a ‘fagot’. So he tried to *suppress* it by seeming more *serious* and *masculine,* EVEN THOUGH *sometimes he could give himself away unconsciously* (the video store scene where he plays with Randy's nose and looks at the latter’s penis when leaving is one of a few examples) and people could see his true self (for example, the bathroom scene where one of the girls mentions Sidney’s ’bubble-butt boyfriend’). * I like the way the two look at Sidney in the kitchen scene when Stu stands behind Billy and leans his chin to his pal’s shoulder as if symbolizing the latter's inner world, that is, *metaphorically, Stu is internal Billy, the one that is suppressed and hidden deep down.* Maternal abandonment *devastated* Billy (we hear the *pain* in his voice when he finally tells his girlfriend the truth). BUT! *Even having motives, deep down he ENJOYED*** *while killing.* ** One more parallel we see in Tatum's death. Billy (that's what on the surface) had motive to kill her because she could prevent Sidney to have sex with him. Stu (that's the hidden nature) had an idea to kill Tatum because _there’s always some stupid bullshit reason to kill your girlfriend, that’s the beauty of it all, simplicity',_ that is, for *pleasure,* for their scary movie. Billy ‘recruited’ Stu because he saw HIMSELF, that is, *eccentric sadist* in his pal (like Roman saw his own life story, that is, maternal abandonment in Billy). Since Macher was Loomis’ inner world, the latter was *able* to manipulate his buddy (like he was *suppressing* his own eccentric behaviour). However sometimes the situation could get out of control like in the fountain scene when Stu almost spilled the beans (parallel when Billy’s eccentric nature came out from time to time). Billy hid his motives and brainwashed Stu by making him believe they were 'starring' in their own horror movie, that is, *he was the one who helped his buddy's dark side come out.* That’s how confident Macher, who wasn’t ashamed of his own ‘weirdness’ at all, became Loomis’ ‘lapdog’ admiring his ‘guide’ so much. Even in the final scenes despite being cut too deep the ‘subordinate’ gave his ‘boss’ the knife, then attacked Sidney (the girl ‘the boss’ hated) with great anger. In conclusion: at first glance it may seem that the film tries to justify the villain by his tragic background but it’s a delusion (we see it through the character of Stu who killed for pleasure). *After discovering the truth Billy would NEVER do what he did if deep down he weren’t a monster.* The main antagonist used a fall guy (that is, his alter ego) in case of being caught by police, that is, speaking metaphorically, *this is how many villains justify themselves with mental deviations to avoid justice.* Later this story was ‘remade’ by other characters with *some new/changed details* (what we see in most remakes/reboots at all), for example, new Ghostfaces became lovers. The moral of the story: *a villain is a villain, and he/she HAS TO be responsible for his/her own crimes. It’s not so bad when you show your freakishness, much worse if you let the evil inside you come out.*
I wonder if Billy was planning on setting Stu up as one of the killers, alongside Sidney's father, and that is why he stabbed him a few times and alot deeper then they both had planned
I think you're right. In Scream 3, when Roman is revealing how he helped Billy plan the whole thing he says something like "Have a partner as a fall guy, in case you get caught". Billy was probably planning on betraying Stu, as a cover for things that happened that only one person couldn't do.

@@jamespope7669 No, you get over it. Stu is alive! Even Wes and Kevin said that in their canon, Stu still lives somewhere, probably waiting for the right time to reveal his survival. And the newer movies gave tons of hints that he might still be around somewhere, like the video hint in Scream 5 ("Is the real Stu Macher still alive?") and the conversation between Mindy and Kirby ("If you really beleive he's dead"). If there was a body, then such things wouldn't exist. No one would doubt Stu's death if there was a body to bury. Stu is clearly alive and if you analyse the TV scene, you see tons of factors that support the "he survived the TV" theory. Details: -arms raised for impact -TV only fell like two feet, therefore it didn't have much force to begin with -TV first fell on the chest, then tipped over, falling much slower onto his face and forehead -Jill survived much more electricity (than that of a 90's TV) to the brain -TV got unplugged when it fell, so there wouldn't be as much electricity in the TV ad it would be, if it was still plugged in -breathing and groaning, after the electricity was gone => dead bodies don't do such things
Billy did not give a single fuck about Stu and would have thrown him under the bus quicker than you could blink. I see Stu staying pretty loyal to Billy though.
Let's be honest, Stu was too stupid to live with all the "sequel" talk. Billy just wanted to take out Sidney, Stu trying to do an encore would have got them both jammed up.
Stu didn't stop trusting Billy Loomis. Stu even stupidly gave Billy the knife that sliced him up like provolone cheese. That's very trusting considering Stu still wanted to plan a sequel with Billy Loomis 😂
Has anybody thought of Kirby as the killer in Scream 7? Can anybody help me find more evidence? The killer in Scream 7, like the killer in Scream 3, should be the director of all the killings starting from Scream 5 (and could even be a part of it from Scream 4). When she and Bailey are discussing the countdown of the masks at the police station, she quotes the killer: "nobody cares about the movies". Giving similar vibes to from the ghostface who killed Jason (Tony Revolori) in the opening scene of the same movie. Moreover, Kirby is also the one who isolates Gale and pushes her away from the "tracking the phone" plan, perhaps with the intention to maintain the core-four as far away as possible from the reporter. Right before, when trying to give consolation to Tara at the theater, the detective appears to comfort the Carpenter sister: "I wanted the monsters to be afraid of me". Perhaps she uses metaphors to describe Sydney and the Carpenters, which could also explain why she joined the FBI. She wanted to be stronger and at the same time stay in a position of power to help Richie and Bailey collect all the evidence and eventually build the shrine. This could match the theory that surrounds the internet, a ghostface cult responsible for the murders all angry at the movies. That's why I consider Kirby might be a killer, and possibly the director of the new trilogy, in this franchise.
That's interesting. When I first saw 5 my initial thought was that a victim or someone close to a victim was orchestrating the whole thing. Considering who was targeted. But I have a hard time seeing Kirby as evil. And I don't think many fans would want that.
You guys need to analyze more of the movie. You do know Billy was going to kill Stu at the end, right? Why do you think they were plotting the stab scene? Billy was going to kill Cindy and Stu. Billy was going to say that to the police that Stu was the killer we had a knife fight and I had to defend myself and he accidentally killed him out of defensive. And Billy was going to get away with it. Billy is an cold manipulative person. Stu was just a pawn….Billy is an psychopath, maybe sociopath because of mommy issues. Remember that he is an cold, emotionless, intimidating person. If you can’t analyze the movie. You’re not that smart buddy….I mean it was obvious…..
People always have said this, but for me I always see it as Stu was just Caught in the Moment as Billy was telling her, like Stu was waiting for Billy to Spill the BIG Motive on her… Plus after Billy mentions it, Stu says (“And Let’s Face It Sidney, Your Mother Was No Sharon Stone!!!”) as if it was No Surprise. Stu knew I believe.
I think Stu said the Sharon Stone line because Maureen had a reputation, everyone know what she was like especially her affair with Cotton. I think Stu was surprised that Maureen had an affair with Billy’s dad and that was Billy’s motive
It’s a reach. I’d look at the direction they were being given by Wes while filming the scene. If Stu didn’t know it would have come out long ago. And it’s not something Billy would of kept to himself given his friendship with Stu and the fact that they were horror fans the topic of motive certainly came up.

Would you ever do a video where you imagine who the cast could be had Scream being made in different decades (ie 80s, 2000s even modern day)
80s Billy would totally could be Johnny Depp, when he made A Nightmare On Elm Street, he looked a lot like Billy
@@fernandomaron87 I think everyone would agree 😂
Timothy Chalamet would've been an interesting Billy. Or the bully from Euphoria. Can picture different people playing Stu...but Lillard played it in a way that only he could.
Billy looms had open heart surgery ❤😂🎉 4:16
Billy and Stu killed Maureen tho, so Stu would’ve known all that stuff.
@@Im_the_real_Stu_Macher no stu is sticking in the head he is the mastermind of everything the way he killed somebody he even talks about it he likes doing it
@@Slice2099 I know but what I’m trying to say is he might try avenging billy because even after the fight they had stu chased Sidney after billy got knocked to the floor and stu risked his life during that so it makes me think that stu actually does care about billy he just has his own way of showing it
I’m not saying I was a victim but I was peer pressured man!
Imagine if Stu losing trust for Billy made him have a vendetta against his kids. Sorry. For the Stu Fans thinking he’s alive… you can take the hint. But that idea would be scrapped now so.
Plans are resurrected all the time...... True SCREAM fans will tell you that......
The molestation storyline would been so much better and darker

Stu shouldn't have given the knife back to Billy. Billy stabs Stu 4 more times after he gives him the knife back (after they each stabbed each other once). Billy was more than fine with Stu either dying or taking the fall for him.
"Once I supplied the motivation all the kid (Billy) needed was a few pointers. HAVE A PARTNER TO SELLOUT IN CASE YOU GET CAUGHT, find someone to frame. It was like he was making a movie." -Rowan
I love his videos
He didn't want to give him the knife cause he realized how much that s hurt getting stabbed. That's what matt told me anyways when we asked him in tampa. But that's just his opinion( he trusted him enough to say come on baby get it up and let him stabb him.) It changed when he was like nah this s hurts
"Friendship" .... Suuuuuuuureeee.....
I think Stu was in love with Billy, and I think Billy manipulated that bond.
* I like the way the two look at Sidney in the kitchen scene when Stu stands behind Billy and leans his chin to his pal’s shoulder as if symbolizing the latter's inner world, that is, *metaphorically, Stu is internal Billy, the one that is suppressed and hidden deep down.*
Maternal abandonment *devastated* Billy (we hear the *pain* in his voice when he finally tells his girlfriend the truth). BUT! *Even having motives, deep down he ENJOYED*** *while killing.*
** One more parallel we see in Tatum's death.
That wouldn't surprise me at all, I don't think Billy ever intended for Stu to survive that night.
I think you're right. In Scream 3, when Roman is revealing how he helped Billy plan the whole thing he says something like "Have a partner as a fall guy, in case you get caught". Billy was probably planning on betraying Stu, as a cover for things that happened that only one person couldn't do.
I definetly thought he was gonna kill Stu afterwards, since i've first saw the movie back in the 90s.
@@moviemortalTrue. I felt like he intended to kill everyone including Stu then blame the entire spree on Stu, and be hailed as a hero for stopping the killer

I feel so bad for Stu now 😢😢😢
Billy would have made a good joker
This is exactly why stu is so insane. He legit did it all for fun and because he could. Billy had a motive, a reason, stu just liked killing
I still like the idea that their motive was being abused by Maureen also stu was actually an intended plan b scapegoat
STU LIVES! 📺
Stu's dead, get over it.
Did kind of feel like the new ones were leaning in that direction. But I don't know.
@@jamespope7669stu is alive Fucker.Dont Mess With The OGs
Details:
-arms raised for impact
-TV only fell like two feet, therefore it didn't have much force to begin with
-TV first fell on the chest, then tipped over, falling much slower onto his face and forehead
-Jill survived much more electricity (than that of a 90's TV) to the brain
-TV got unplugged when it fell, so there wouldn't be as much electricity in the TV ad it would be, if it was still plugged in
-breathing and groaning, after the electricity was gone => dead bodies don't do such things
I feel like Billy and Stu would have turned on each other I can see Stu telling on Billy though that wouldn't have make it better for Stu.
Billy did not give a single fuck about Stu and would have thrown him under the bus quicker than you could blink. I see Stu staying pretty loyal to Billy though.
So how do we feel about the Stu being alive leading a cult of Ghostfaces theory?? I’m a Stu-believer lol it makes a lot sense
Stu is still my favorite ❤
Let's be honest, Stu was too stupid to live with all the "sequel" talk. Billy just wanted to take out Sidney, Stu trying to do an encore would have got them both jammed up.
True. And Billy was always already trying to keep him from getting too excited and giving away the game.
Stu didn't stop trusting Billy Loomis. Stu even stupidly gave Billy the knife that sliced him up like provolone cheese. That's very trusting considering Stu still wanted to plan a sequel with Billy Loomis 😂
Beyond do you believe Stu is dead? I believe he is he got his head crush by a 90's tv.
He was also electrocuted.
Question where are you able to find the original script because i have looked for ages and can only find little bits on images
Not friends relationship with billy they were definitely sleeping together

I think Stu was in love with Billy & his exciting, violent adventure.
I think Williamson may have intended that to be true actually.
That definitely would have been a storyline today.

I see it just like that. Stu didn't act surprised. Just giddy with excitement to watch Sidney react to the reveal.
Yeah, I still don’t believe he didn’t know the Reason.
I think Stu said the Sharon Stone line because Maureen had a reputation, everyone know what she was like especially her affair with Cotton. I think Stu was surprised that Maureen had an affair with Billy’s dad and that was Billy’s motive
@@hasenaali2010 Yes, he said the Sharon Stone line cause of Maureen and how him and everybody knew about Maureen. I mean it makes sense, right???
It’s a reach. I’d look at the direction they were being given by Wes while filming the scene. If Stu didn’t know it would have come out long ago. And it’s not something Billy would of kept to himself given his friendship with Stu and the fact that they were horror fans the topic of motive certainly came up.
