Wow I love that you used all these photos of Hank and Nancy from other movies. It makes it seem like they’re from a scream prequel we never got.

Hank actually kinda helped Billy when he got arrested so that’s why maybe he didn’t kill him.
I would wager that Hank had multiple affairs during his marriage and that the one with Maureen was the one that finally prompted Nancy to leave.
Also he was a lawyer for the studio so its a possibility Hank meant Maureen at those parties thrown by Miltion.
This is what I believe to be facts. A terrible series of events. Quite brilliant!

Hank is low key fascinating. His little screen time mixed with the fact that Billy didn’t ever even try to kill him is an intriguing subtle hook.

Wondering if Hank Loomis could have been Roman Bridger's father and continued his relationship with Maureen (maybe why he chose Woodsboro after leaving LA?) which brings up a whole other level of ick between Hank and Maureen, not to mention possibly between Sidney and Billy.

In my headcanon, Hank committed suicide either after Scream 1 or Scream 2.
His former wife and his son were serial murderers, wouldn't you go away and lay low for the rest of your days?
Considering his son murdered his affair partner, his ex-wife was also a murderer, I would have fled the country changed my name and restarted abroad in Europe.
I wonder if he should make an appearance in Scream 7, and serve as a familial figure whom Sam has to confront in her life. Sam already struggles with being the illegitimate daughter of Billy Loomis, but now she has to come face-to-face with her paternal grandfather who's been a no show for decades. It would also make sense that Hank is probably living under an assumed identity, too, and that Sam won't recognize him at first.
If you were responsible for your wife leaving and kid becoming a psychopath, then you would hide in the shadows as much as possible too.

Brilliant video! The Loomis family definitely has a lot of layers and I think the Scream films so far have barely even scratched the surface. There’s a lot more there IMO!

There is something wrong with Nancy Loomis bloodline and their mental illness past down to generations but I wonder what happened to Hank Loomis and how he dealt with not only his son but ex wife being serial killers.

But mostly Hank who was unfaithful. Shitty Husband and shitty father. Maureen Prescott needed counseling and therapy for getting raped in Hollywood/SunRise Studios.

I was thinking either Debbie or Mickey killed him for the affair and Billy’s death which is how Debbie met Mickey.
That or he just didn’t want a scandal(from past experience)as he was a lawyer so he left Woodsboro.
Also there's a awesome video on here stating something we all kinda missed in Scream overall. Mickey (which may not be his name after this point) was already a serial killer..Also in part 6 on the picture board Mickeys picture like Stu has a question mark next to it. Maybe it was meant for them not being so sure as to what his name was. I think your idea of Mrs. Loomis having Bank killed by Mickey first furthers their relationship. After he did that then she put him in school to go after Sid.

What if Roman was the offspring of hank and Maureen
Hank and Maurrens relationship could go back even longer. They may have started seeing each other at Miltons parties since he was a lawyer for the studio. Then years later after they both were married and their kids started dating might have been what brought them back together.

I always wondered Billy and Nancy never targeted Hank. After all, it takes two to tango.
Hate to say it, but I don't think Sam's stomping out that darkness at all. If anything, the overkill in Scream and Scream 6 simply is showing her directing that darkness as needed for survival-based reasons instead. Even if we compare how the Carpenter sisters have both legit killed people - Tara's a lot quicker, cleaner, and more flat-out traumatized than Sam is.
Sam's willing to not only stab someone 20+ times to be sure when she could simply slit her attacker's throat, but she's literally stabbed someone in the eye as a final "I'm still killing you for messing with my family" moment. I'll just say it monologuing before you do that isn't freaking normal - just stabbing Detective Bailey in both eyes with no monologuing would have been closer to a normal reaction of extreme anger combined with extreme self-defense.
So, I think Sam's simply finding a way to use that darkness in a less vengeful manner in general.

Actually, Tara was never Billy’s stepdaughter. Sam discovered from her mom’s diary at the age of 13 that the guy she was calling father (Tara’s bio-dad and her mother’s high school boyfriend and now husband) was not her biological dad. Sam confronted her mother about her true father being Billy not knowing that the man she called father was standing behind her. Now, Tara’s dad didn’t have any clue that Sam wasn’t his. Upset, he divorced his wife and abandoned Tara. Sam’s mom in her anger blame her for her husband leaving and disowned Sam. Once Tara found out the truth on why her father left and her mother hated her sister. Tara disowned her mother.

Who killed Mareen? billy and Roman or billy and Stu? Or just billy? If Roman wasn’t there I wonder what he told billy and why he wouldn’t be apart of it… I’d like to see a prequel with Roman and billy… also what if Stu had a kid? Or would that have been too much?
I’m surprised Nancy didn’t go after Sidney’s mom herself. Or kill Hank after his affair, and then it would’ve been just her and billy

Watching this video just now a thought occurred when the part about Hank Loomis choosing to start up the affair. Either boredom in his marriage or Nancy driving him to it. But mentioning Hank's past as a lawyer and working for the same place as Maureen, and them knowing each other before and then them meeting again in Woodsboro, they could have recognized each other with Maureen trying to bury her past and Hank knowing her past another kind of dark theory came to mind. Could blackmail had been involved in the affair? Could Hank have blackmailed her? Or if not could Maureen have panicked and wondered what she could do to keep him quiet?

I don’t remember the films saying Billy was seeing more than Christine Carpenter behind Sidney’s back. Mrs. Loomis weight loss and change in appearance was because she wanted to get close enough to Sidney w/out Sid realizing who she really was, not because she didn’t want to get cheated on again.
Mrs loomis didn’t meet Sidney in scream 2 until the very end it was only really gale who had spoken to her
