Ha! Actually we made out pretty good. This breed of rabbit sells for $75-$100 for does. And I got them for free 99 and they ate already bred. Whoop!

Nice road trip but, now I have to pick another direction to go, lol. I really enjoyed watching the young goats playing with each other so cute. Do they poop on the floor a lot? I should get one for Aurora to play with. By the way, it's snowing up here and I have about 2" of snow right now. Did you save me the 2 jars of whatever I wanted? LOL.

aw welcome to spring in the Rockies mountains where anything as far as weather can happen and will and O yes Alaska is part of the rocky mountain it start from down in Mexico and all the way up there and those of us who have spent the whole lives living close to these mountains love it, and yes I live n the great state of Montana above the 45 the parallel I was born here and live here and I will die here some day and you ever want see Montana came on down and as we around here lets get lost

It looks to me like you crown the dirt road and make some dutches for the water then you won't have some many mud hole and you can do that with the tractor if you have blade but its all I know it time to have that to do that but i love you guys your so funny and so happy lol
It’s all the overburden on the sides at the top of the driveway that’s the main issue. It’s just like a giant channel. We put $30,000 in gravel in this driveway already. Ha! It’ll be a while before it’s fixed.

Love chili cheese fritoes, hot tamales are my absolute favorite, love red hots, also red hots in hot apple cider. Did live cinnamon bears but gives me indigestion, dont know the difference there.
I like red hots in hot orange tang. Yum!
So in my truck or any car or truck I drive I have extra water and some food and tools, oil, a fan belt tow chain, and tow strap and 2 spare tires, and if it is a long trip and extra gas
It's always so fun in the spring when all the babies start popping out. Sorry about the one that died. It happened to some of my goats as well. One of mine had such a big baby, he was huge and was a still born as well. It was so hard on the mama. Keep a good eye on her. It can really sneak up on you next thing you know she's not doing well at all. Not saying it will happen but it can. The rabbits are beautiful. Great time of the year for a road trip. Diesel here at Costco is 135.9 per litre. So multiply by 3.78 and that is 5.14 a gallon. Why do we pay so much more then you guys??? We produce it here in Alberta, well we have a wonderful Prime Minister that has put a huge carbon tax on all essential gas, diesel, oil, propane, coal, natural gas. It's so very sad. Great video it reminds me of the mountains here in Alberta as well.
Oh … I’m sure it’s coming here too. I just need one of those bikes that I can ride through the air like Elmira Gulch. Ha!
@@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska Opps I was wrong, Costco here doesn't sell diesel so I gave you gas prices. Diesel here is averaging about $168.9/litre which is then $6.00/gallon and that is in canadian dollars for us. My husband is a truck driver and he goes to the west coast and diesel there is usually about $2/litre. It's crazy

There’s a lot of silt and clay in the ground where we live. It just makes a sloppy mess. No limestone. We need about 20 more thousand dollars in gravel. And the time to do it. Ha!

I have never seen a you tube video from anyone in Alaska that did not have a cracked windshield. I’m guessing that windshield replacement is big business in Alaska?
Yep! The roads are sanded snd gravelled all winter so, come thaw, theres lots of rocks available to kick into your windshield. Ha! This one came new on my truck…lasted 3 months.

Yep. Just to pull off and enjoy the scenery. We have them all across the state. Usually there’s an outhouse if you need to use the restroom and trashcan so people don’t litter.

Yep. It’s an alaskan windshield. They gravel and sanding the road for six months of the year so there’s always lots of rocks on the road to get kicked up. The moment I get a new windshield, another rock will hit it. It’s inevitable. This windshield stayed crack free for about three months of its life.

hey all the candy companies have gone off the rail with stuff they are making and it getting harder to find my nutrageous candy bar and I love them so I get 1 king size per month and it suck they so had to find and when are starting the garden and do you have high tunnel yet
Still too much snow to start the garden. The ground won’t be ready till the middle of June. We might fix our collapsed greenhouse from last year. Not sure yet.

Why didn't you try to give your baby goats to the momma goat that lost her baby?
Great question. One, we gave that mom antibiotics so the babies wouldn’t be able to drink her milk. And also because we bottlefeed all of our babies. We find that for us it makes friendly adult goats that will come to you when they get injured and need help, and are more comfortable getting help when they are giving birth.
