Thanks for not talking. The chatter boxes that think they need to expand to the world their great knowledge on every stupid detail ruin it! What you’re doing is awesome!!!
I have an Autistic friend who is a mechanic. I've never seen him so much as glance at a repair manual but he can fix anything on any car without consulting anything and the work is top tier. I once watched him pull an engine from a Ford Crown Victoria, put it in another vehicle in two hours. Never once did he consult a manual. You can ask him what size any bolt on any piece of equipment anywhere on the car and he will tell you and he's correct.
Thanks for these. Ive owned a 98 exploder forever that I just retired and now a ranger, and it gives me confidence to go about things the way you do. learned all the basics on the exploder. I was never interested in mechanics at all and knew nothing about cars, until one day I just deep dove. Difficult to get into but you just keep accruing as much knowledge as you can until one day you wake up and could change a knuckle, or ball joints. I did do a "differential repair"(mostly just replacing shim pack that exploded in the 98). Ive now done Ujoint stuff, ball joint stuff, thermostat housings, water pump. One day Ill do the stuff you do too.
This channel is about to blow up! Awesome content - I found the channel a couple of days ago and I am now officially addicted! Binge watching every video you have😁 Thanks man!
Admire your fortitude to repair things that are a pain, like exhaust. At some point, an entire exhaust system from FCP Euro or Turner might end up cheaper. The Frankenstein look of the finished exhaust is interesting however.
Seriously good viewing! I was on the edge of my seat with the number 1 spark plug😂. Well done you, you're patience payed off. That exhaust, awesome jib and saved a load of money. I've said it before, inspiring!
FCP Euro is a good place to buy euro parts. The parts are priced fairly, and they offer a lifetime replacement. Even on oil, filters, and other consumables. Sounds crazy, but they do replace if you mail the parts back.
What's with your parts store??!! Your other vid, you picked up used oil for a change on this car. They shorted you a plug on this one? Guess You're going to have to be more vigilant when you buy parts from them. Great vids bro, I love sitting back watching them, calms my mind. Love what you're doing keep em coming. 👍👍👊👊🤘🤘

The camera work and editing is top tier. It's like I'm looking over your shoulder the entire time.
Great job putting the work in! We are neighbors. I'm in Wisconsin and yes, we know rust very well. I think it held up very well given the age.

Great video, Simon. Has anyone ever told you that you're a better looking version of Roger Waters?
I think i got that one once, I always hear that I’m a better looking Adam Driver.
@@SimonFordman hell yeah chad

I always use some rtv on the rubber half moons.
That must be galvanized , smoke is nasty but good work sir.

U have one thing i dont. Patience. Breaking that o2 sensor would have been it for me😂
❤
15:42 I can't be the only one who saw the blue face.
I've seen other people just weld the pants to the Y-Pipe and that's it, no sensors?
Привет. Классное видео, мне очень нравится твой контент) а какой пробег у этой машины?
Love this channel!!

Where are you sourcing your parts?
Are you using gas less weld?

I see what you’re doing, but why don’t you explain what you’re doing? It would make things a lot clearer.
That’s the Zen of this. Just let it wash over and past you.

The rust is strong with this one...
Previous owner said “minimal rust”!
Sounds horrible.
