Painting over rust and only finishing the outside is not the proper way to restore old things. Moreover in theme with the old bike the spokes should have been as it was... not alloy wheels

I would have left the straight spoked wheel. This three-spoke wheel took away the character of the motorcycle. Black is a good choice, but I would have painted it MATTE BLACK. One-person, with deepened beige seating, slightly higher, wide, chopper-like handlebars. But nice work. He is resurrected.
Why go to the trouble to cut out and patch big chunks of steel in the fenders and side boxes when you could of easily just hammered the metal flat and weld up the gash, and then to leave the rust holes open on the front fender? WTH? Then all that scrapping and cleaning of parts that could of been sand blasted like the chain. Just two areas out of 30 or so things to pick about. Then those wheels. Holy cow, what a POS.
