It is confirmed that Bellatrix does have a dragon heartstring wand. Even if it was not confirmed (which it is) she is one of the most powerful dark witches of the time and performed numerous unforgivable curses. If she tried that with a unicorn hair wand the wand would most likely have problems.
If I could work anywhere in the Harry Potter realm, it would be at Ollivanders. It has always held a deep fascination. I’m a Ravenclaw & my wand is a 14.5” Ash wood with Unicorn hair. The accuracy of the description was spot on. Fantastic video Dean. Bravo!!

You choice wisely ash wood is a fine wood and unicorn hair makes very ideal wand cores cuz they provide consistent magic spells without clogging or messing up spells and very resistant to doing dark magic , so yes they make well rounded wands
I just took the wand test and it says I get the elder wand I wasn't expecting it, I was expecting a unicorn or dragon heartstring wand at least but not the elder wand which is great for my job for exploring and harvesting resources like wand and potion ingredients etc and selling them on the market
You can try experimenting on new types of wands and I can go out collecting resources for you to try out like different magical creature parts , you could experiment making a wand out of a basilisk fang from the dead basilisk I'm Hogwarts lol

It could be that the 382 B.C. was when the family started selling wands in the Roman Empire. Then several hundred years later when the Roman's came to the United Kingdom they moved their wand shop there. So it could just be that the date is just when the family started selling wands in general. Even now if a business starts in one country then moves to another their they usually show their Established date by when they started in the original country.

I personally feel that Mr. Ollivander should've mentioned that he actually had a couple of apprentice wandmakers that were American who learned under his tutelage in wandlore after graduating from Ilvermorny or whichever other American wizarding school all the while occasionally corresponding with them along with exchanging different types of wand cores from magical creatures native to America.

Sounds awesome, and I will have a job as a supplier of valuable resources like wand and potion ingredients and so forth hunting down animals and other resources to sell on the market, if I go to Hogwarts to get a basilisk you could experiment making a wand out of it there's a skeleton at Hogwarts , could try making a wand out of the magical whooping Willow tree outside Hogwarts would be interesting

I just took the wand test it says I got the elder wand lol, I wasn't expecting it I was expecting a unicorn or dragon heartstring wand but I got the elder wand which is great for the job I want to do in Harry Potter world , it's to be a explorer supplier going around collecting and gathering resources and ingredients to use in wands or potions etc to sell on the market making good money

According to Pottermore my wand is 13 and a half inches Blackthorn with Dragon Heartstring. Though if tried to request a custom that would hopefully work is Werewolf Fur core and Dragonbone for the outer layer. Anyway my patronus according to Pottermore is a Shark.

Took the Pottermore test and this is my wand.
Your wand is 9 inches long and made of cherry, with a unicorn hair core slightly springy flexibility.
The unicorn hair makes stable and the cherry wood gives it strength. An overall balanced wand good for any situation.
JK wasn't accurate with the timeline, my guess the 1st Ollivanders was from Rome but immigrated to Britain and the people did the geographic chronological math that his stall would in an antient roman market, after they invaded. A wand can also have 2 woods, the handle and the base but there can not b 2 cores. I looked it up.
My wand on wizaringworld aka pottermore is Hawthorn wood with a dragon heartstring core, 11 ¾" and surprisingly swishy flexibility.
Actually in america there's a wand with 2 cores and it's only known aligence is a wizard only going by a code name of Agent Time Travel Protector of the Potters (Agent T.T.P.P) currently in his 8th and final year at Ilvermourny and he constructed it all by himself and with the 2 cores (specifically held in the tip and the handle and the cores are fused to gether by a American spell strictly forbidden in other countries the spell Saykeiramacieo Maximus Wando Canat 18th generation saykeiramacieo family) and 4 woods (tip, pole, handle, base) and when the word of a wand with spruce, hawthorn, oak, and mahogany (in that order from top to bottom on the wand tip is mahogany pole is oak handle is hawthorne and the base is spruce) and the 2 cores of Veela hair and chalarion (kah-lar-eon) rock only found on the wizarding community side of the Appalachian Mountain

I'm a Ravenclaw, my wand is Aspen wood with a dragon heartstring core, 12 ½" and reasonably supple flexibility.
My wand according to Wizarding World/Pottermore is Silver Lime wood, 10* long, with a unicorn hair core, and a slightly yielding flexibility!! I am a Hufflepuff for Hogwarts and for Ilvermorny I am in Thunderbird! And my patronus is a nebelung cat!

it says olivanders was founded in 382 bc not that it was in england since then. the orginal store could have opened elsewhere and moved to england durning the roman conquest. an example of this here in america is N.C.R which was around for over a century operating out of dayton ohio until 12 or so years back when it moved to atlanta. when it did the founding date remained not rebooted to 2008
I'm sure that the family has been wandmakers for much longer then this and that is arguably the only line of work any of them have been apart of. Also my wand is Cedar wood with a phoenix feather core, 12 ¾" and reasonably supple flexibility, suits me quite well frankly even though the wand chooses the wizard/witch the owner of the wand should also become found of it.

Seems like this olivander makes alot of wands that have twin cores....how many different phenox and unicorns is one going to come across in a life time...they mentioned how rare and pure unicorns where with quierrel, and we only see and know 1 phenox who only gave 2 feathers.....so I guess it's dragon heart strings for everybody, seeing how we seen at least 4 dragons and Hagrid also had a dragon called norbid. So they seem to be the MOST plentiful source for wand cores

I’ve asked this before, but how come it took Peter an entire year to betray Lily and James to Voldemort after he became the spy? Here’s the timeline: Early 1980- the prophecy; July 1980- Harry is born. This is around the time when Peter defected and became a spy (give or take a couple months) according to Sirius as that’s when they figured out that there was a spy. October 1980- Dumbledore suggested the Fidelius charm and offered to be secret keeper. Lily and James insisted on using Sirius and then asked him. Sirius came up with the idea of telling everyone that he was Secret Keeper, but insisted that they have Peter be Secret Keeper in order to create a diversion so Voldemort would go after him and not Peter. A week before Halloween 1980 - The Fidelius Charm was cast. In between the Fidelius Charm being cast and Voldemort killing the Potters on Halloween, Peter told Voldemort that he was the Potter’s Secret Keeper and then revealed the Potter’s location to Voldemort. As we know, he killed them on Halloween. Here’s the question: Since we know that the above timeline is established and not up for debate, why did it take approximately a year for Voldemort to kill the Potters?
What if Lucien never put Tom Riddles diary in Jinny's cauldron. What if Voldemort used it to have a basilisk in the final battles.
