Great and thorough! Loved that you went from out of the box to finished product! However, I was also hoping to hear about the markers as well. Do you have a separate video showcasing how to use the markers?
So happy i joined! About to do yrly! Love support on Facebook page for members
Woohoo!! Welcome to our community!!!! So glad to have you, Candice!
Thanks so much for this vid. I almost forgot to mirror! BTW!!! In case anyone else has this problem, idk if its coz I’m using the joy, or perhaps my blade is getting dull, but i had to go over it twice to cut all the way through to the clear later which meant i wasted a good length of paper (i did fat lettering in galaxy pattern so it was just a 2 inch strip wasted) but i couldn’t get it to line up again once I’d removed the paper from my mat so i had to start over.
Btw, your enthusiasm is so adorable. I’m subscribing just for your happy little face.
So sorry you had some issues! Thank you very much!!!
great great tutorial for a beginner! Now I know what this product actually does and how to use it! New projects here I come! Thank you so much Tanner! xo

Great step by step video .Thank you.
Thank you so much, glad this video helped 😊
I'm new so I'm just confused as to what you do with the other color that came with the design, the solid color? Thank you for the guide it helped me a lot
Great tutorial! Thanks.
Learned a lot thanks so much for the video!!!
You make it seem pretty easy! I’m going to make a tote bag and some pandemic survivor t shirts.
Have fun!
Hello.(I love your videos thank you.)And if you do not have the press and you use an iron how do you do it?
Thanks Tanner for all the great videos. I was on the fence about Cricut Maker but now I REALLY want one! Keep up the good work with a smile!
Thank you for watching!
I bought a tote bag. I thought I would put my initials on it. This was very helpful. Thanks
Thank you for watching!
Enjoyed your video, just bought the Maker 3 so now I need to learn how to use it. I’m sure your videos will be a big help, thank you!
Congratulations on your new machine!
Great video! I learned a lot!
So glad!
I'm very excited. I am going to try coasters and a pillow first. I knit baby blankets, which are 100% polyester. I'm wondering what infusible ink would look like on that? Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos and answer all my questions. You guys are great!
Hello! Since they're knitted and not a single piece of fabric I would have to recommend no patterns, and dark solid images/designs will look best :) Good luck!
Great tutorial!
Great tutorial! Can you use the cricut mini head press for this at all?
What’s the best rule of thumb when it comes to temp? Should I follow the Cricut infusible ink or what the owners manual suggests for ceramic mugs for my mug press?
Does it matter what side of the butcher paper you put down? The shiny side or matte side?
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was in a panic with my first shirt and you made it so easy !!
Thank you for watching!
I'm so glad you made this tutorial. Can you reuse the stencil. Thanks dont get to use the easy press nor Cricut site so when i start i forget what i knew......
You cannot reuse Cricut Infusible Ink
Before I start (and waste an infusible ink sheet) can you tell me if there is any special prep when using a new/unused Nicapa mat....do I need to do anything to lessen the grip or can I apply the ink sheet to a brand new mat without removing some of the adhesive on the mat?
Can Reynolds plastic coated freezer paper be used in place of butcher paper for infusible ink?
I have watched this twice....time to put it to the test!! Wish me luck!! "Grandma Meme" Bear on a women's gray cricut shirt. Fingers crossed.....
That was awesome and super easy to follow. I was wondering what the difference was between vinyl and infusible ink. Thanks for answering that.
Thank you for your kind words! They are very different. Heat Transfer Vinyl can be cut, weeded, and applied with heat. It's a layer of material. Infusible Ink on the other hand does not transfer a material, it transfers ink. It has to be used with a larger heat press and much higher heat than HTV. Hope this helps!
I noticed the temp on the Easy Press is at 385. I thought I saw it say 400 degrees on the box. Are you heating it longer than instructed to make up for the lower temp?
We are not! The heat instructions on the website differ from the box. We trusted the Cricut website more than the box and acted accordingly :)
Can you use infusible ink with large heat press? Or are they all used with a light/med pressure press?
Awesome tutorial! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Hello, Can I use my own image when using infusible ink transfer sheets? If so is there a tutorial out there to show how this is done?
That was so cool! I would like to make a infusible ink shirt. How do you wash it after its done without it fading?
your shirt needs to be at least 65% polyester :) The higher the poly content in the shirt, the darker and deeper the color :) No special washing instructions, just make sure your shirt is mostly if not all poly!
Infusible ink attaches to the fibers of your project. I recommend washing inside out, but otherwise as normal.
So Helpful! Thank you! I am excited to try this!!!!
Yay! Thank you :)
Can you use infusible ink on sublimation blanks
Great video & Beautiful results!! Now I’m thinking of anything polyester that I can create with!! 😍😍
Oh! You'll love making one of these! :)
Can I use a different type of heatpress with infusible ink?
You can as long as it's reliable and good quality.
Can you use a regular iron or does it have to be the Cricut iron
Here's the video you're looking for ;) th-cam.com/video/uoevu9Fk8x0/w-d-xo.html
Hi. Thank you for this great step by step video on using infusible ink transfer sheets. My problem is that I have a smaller piece of it and my cut file is just the right size for it. Although when I place the cut file and make sure it is within the right margins, press make it, the letters are all jumbled up. Please tell me what I am doing wrong?
You need to Attach or weld your words or images. If you're working with cursive fonts, weld them before making. If you're working with an SVG, attach it all together :)
Tanner great tutorial. I have allowed it to intimidate me and that stops here because of you. Thank you! Is it only good tire and on articles of clothing tote bags hats so no wood with this type of iron on?
I know it has to be white but can I use white craft paper or does it have to be cricut butcher ?
I tried Strong Bond Metallic Iron-on. I can’t do anything with it. Can you help me? 10:37 It looks like little tiles.
Love your tutorials! Is a brayer the same as a plastic roller?
Yes! That's basically what it is!
I’ve seen people do this on mugs. Could this be done on white tumblers? What all materials are possible?
Thanks for the information, I really want to try this!
You're going to love making this project! 😊
Great tutorial. I just hate the price tag of all this stuff 😤
Thank you so much, so happy to know that you liked our video 😊
That's what birthdays, Christmas, special occasions are for. Let people know your wish list!
Would you do more videos on cricut joy please
Sure! Thanks for the suggestion!
Nice video but where do you find the Cricut screen to select which Easy Press you're using? Will it say that on the PC because you selected this material before cutting? Also, can you re-use the butcher paper again for other products? Thank you! Great video.
Here's the link for what you're looking for: cricut.com/en_us/heatguide?gclid=CjwKCAjwnIr1BRAWEiwA6GpwNYTwqik58WHiLy78YUmS83RfOM0_zy6hgmVC3MBooKriDuxpyyZdJhoCqWgQAvD_BwE . Also, you can reuse the butchers paper as long as it doesn't have any ink or smudges on it.
@@MakersGonnaLearn Thanks for the reply :)
I have an interesting question about the transfer sheets. My hands sweat a little and I was wondering if I can use some powder free and latex free medical examine gloves to keep the sweat off of the sheets and to keep it dry. Also, can u save the left overs for a later project?
Would a scraper work instead of brayer??
No, since this is ink face up, you cannot risk scratching the surface. Be careful!
Thanks for the easy to understand tutorial!
Thank you so much, so happy to know that you liked our video 😊
@makers gonna learn, thank you for the awesome and very easy to follow video...my question is, for myself with an easy press, what temperature do I use when layering with HTV? (using the slice method to allow the HTV to not overlap the infusible ink) Many thanks!
Will a regular clothes iron work? We are slowly getting Cricutfied and covid hindered this? So we do not have the Easy Press yet.
No ma'am. A regular Iron will not work properly with Infusible Ink. here is a fun video of Tanner testing the theory! th-cam.com/video/uoevu9Fk8x0/w-d-xo.html
Help! I am about to do this for the first time, but I do not understand. It says warm peel. You repeated ‘warm peel’ then, you say, let it cool before you peel. Which is it? Thanks
Peel warm, not hot. We have to let it cool from HOT to WARM then we peel :)
@@MakersGonnaLearn thanks! One last question, (i am afraid to ruin this project) can a heat press be used with infusible? Thanks!
So cool
Thank you!
Can I use yellow infusible ink on a black bag?
Can I keep on reusing the Butcher paper that comes with it?
Yes!! You can reuse it unless/until it gets dark (burned) or there is ink on it :)
@@MakersGonnaLearn thank you for your fast reply...
can i use a iron? since i dont hve a easy press yet
When I go to cut it it cuts right thru the pieces so i started changing in settings the number it starts at 245 and nothing seems to work i really want to learn this method but I am having so much trouble PLEASE HELP ME
can you use a scaper instead of the roller?
We would recommend using something more gentle. A scraper is too rigid and might scratch the infusible ink.
Awesome tutorial! Just wondering if you can reuse the butcher paper?
Yes, you can! As long as it's clean you can re-use it! But once it gets ink on it, move to a new sheet
Thanks so much!!!
You're welcome!
Great tutorial! After applying the Infusible ink sheet graphic to the front of the tote bag, can I do the same process on the BACK of the bag to have a two-sided image?
Sure, but you'll have to use a different piece of Infusible Ink :)
I was super nervous about even using it, But now I'm Not! Thanks Hun!
Thank YOU for watching and commenting, sweet Ellen! :)
I love him
Awe, thanks!!! :)
I am just overwhelmed thinking about buying a heat press & then the infusible ink or HTV to make things- Is it worth it? Seems so expensive! Does anyone have any good suggestions on saving money on these products?
We recommend the Cricut EasyPress Mini: amzn.to/2zvjW9D and some HTV. Thats about all you need to start with :)
