Thank you soooo much Jennifer - I absolutely love Al your videos- I love learning all the new steps My next video I’ll be looking for how to mirror pictures : png
This is a game changer for me. I've wanting to dabble in sublimation but the expense of ink, printer, and large heat press was a deterrent. I fusible ink pens are more cost friendly🙂
I'm always looking for new ways to use my infusible ink pens. Thanks for this idea! I'm going to play with it with some coasters - bet they turn out great!
Love your tutorials!! Now, to get a mug press! I really like the infusible ink pens and can't wait to try them out! Thank you so much for always being so detailed and thorough in your tutorials, and for having such a huge giving heart!!!
Thanks for your videos Jennifer! Quick question: is there a "shelf life" of stored Cricut Brand Permanent Premium Vinyl? Someone said 6 months, but we have a lot of vinyl we just purchased to use in the next year or so. We wondered if you had any thoughts or suggestions to help us to keep our vinyl in good condition (on the roll) for when we want to use it later. NOTE: The Cricut Permanent Vinyl actually has a date of 2020 on the package we just purchased from Hobby Lobby - so we assume the shelf-life should be pretty long. Thanks so much again for your great videos!
I don't need any more mugs, but I'd like to try this on a ceramic plate. What would you use to apply the necessary heat to a flat surface? Do I need a Cricut heat press? (Not in the budget currently.)

I didn't understand if you normally color with sublimation markers or wet the tip of the marker or the paper!! Or if it's just the watercolor paper that has that effect when you color with Infusible Inks
Hello. I could not find the template for the mug wrap that matches the one on the bottom tier on the left. I found the flowers only template on the top tier and the one you made in the video.

I've used coloring pages and outlined the shapes, then colored them in. Transferring the photo to a polyester towel. It works so well!!
That's awesome!

I too have been reluctant to go into sublimation because of the cost but, this this will be fun to play around with,
It is! Go for it! Infusible ink is great without the huge expense.
Super excited for this!

I have used vinyl from 2020 without any problems. Basically store it in a cool dry place with low humidity.
This looks so cool what to be able to do different things with mugs
It really is a great project!
Great vid
Wondering why you didn't need to use sublimation transfer paper?
This was a special project with only the watercolor paper but I you could probably do it with sub paper as well, we just didn't test that.
Hey. Have you used this watercolour method with infusable ink pens on the glass tumblers?
No, but that is a good idea to give it a try! Here is this tutorial on glass. jennifermaker.com/sublimation-beer-can-glass/
I don't need any more mugs, but I'd like to try this on a ceramic plate. What would you use to apply the necessary heat to a flat surface? Do I need a Cricut heat press? (Not in the budget currently.)
You would need a heatpress or EasyPress🥰
First, thank you for this project. The watercolor paper that you linked has been out of stock for a while. Do you have a good alternative?

Yea! The watercolor paper is back in stock! I ordered it immediately. I’m excited to try this technique.
When you are blending the light and dark colors, does the darker color remain on the lighter color marker?
It does get on the lighter marker. You will need to scribble on some paper to get it out.
I made a test print with names and colours of pens a pressed onto scrap polyester fabric so I know what the colour pen will look like
That's a great idea!

Love the mugs? Can you use glass
You would need to use sublimation glass or put laminate on it first🥰
I really want to try this, but I can't get a mug press. Is it possible to do this in a toaster oven or other heat source?

The A4 paper is no longer available
Will the A5 work as well? The paper may be smaller. If so, do you have a suggestion for an alternative

Does it matter if the watercolour paper is smooth or rough?
We used smooth in this project🥰
Do you know what heat settings/time if you do this on a coaster?
Here is a tutorial for infusible ink on coasters. th-cam.com/video/VxkzMZ-ZxPs/w-d-xo.html jennifermaker.com/watercolor-ink-mug/
Is this only for mugs?
You could do this on coasters too!🥰

The SVGs and PDF are both there. #595 in the library. jennifermaker.com/watercolor-ink-mug/
@@JenniferMaker Thanks. You say “both” but there are three different designs on the mugs shown.
Do you have to have a mug press for this project?
You would need a mug press or a sublimation oven🥰
Hola que tipo de papel usa?

I am not an artist and I am struggling with coming up with my own designs that I can sell.
Can you use shapes from DS but alter them?
