    love your comment about not wanting to run out to Walmart late at night, for butcher paper... i thought i was the only one who enjoys doing my crafts in the middle of the night! Lol. thats when the house is quiet, and i can get in my zone, tho!!

      Freezer paper and butcher paper are the same thing. The names are interchangeable :D I work in a meat department with butcher/freezer paper :D

    I bought cricut sublimation sheets to try for the first time. The negative paper will not come off the backing paper. The back of the sheet looks orange through the carrier sheet. Has it 'gone off' or something? I used the cricut setting for sublimation sheets.

      Unless it's been treated with a polycrylic sealer, you cannot use it on leather.

      There is no such thing :) This is INK, not a material. We don't use black paper in our printers, so we wouldn't use white ink on black material. It wouldn't show up.

    And I thought I was a genius when I cut my design on paper to be sure it would fit under my EP before cutting the final in the ink transfer sheet! Now I see you did this six months ago. Also, with the Artesprix sublimation markers, I know they work on regular copy paper because I attended an event where the reps of that company had us make several things with those markers.

    I’ve tried several times to use infuseable ink and I cannot weed it appropriately! It peels in so many layers, leaving the white part behind but taking off the pattern. Any suggestions?!

    Hi! If I wanted to use infusable ink on butcher paper, would I still follow this same instruction? And would the mini heat press (recommended by you guys 😁) work? Or could vinyl sticker be a second option for butcher paper?

      Cricut does not recommend using parchment paper because "Parchment paper has a coating or an infusion of silicone. Butcher paper, on the other hand, has no treatment." :) Hope this helps!

    I saw a dypress poly t spray that allows you to use infusable ink on 100 percent cotton . Could you guys try that on camera. I always trust your thoughts before I buy something because I know you will say the truth!!!!!!!

      This won't work well, because for tie dye you need 100% cotton, but for infusible ink you need at least 65% polyester :)

    So I am making mugs with infusible ink pens by cricut and laser paper (wish I had seen this before I spent so much on it 🤣) but another hack is you can put sublimation mugs in the oven at 400°F for 15 minutes with these and it works amazing! As long as you make sure to tape the entire design down or use a silicone mug wrap (learned the hard way lol) my question is, does anyone know if you can put a mug back in the oven to add something else to the mug? I didn't think about it with my first 3 to put my business name, but I would like to add it, I'm just afraid to mess something up lol

    Can you make a colored in drawing on copy paper, and then save it to use at a later date or does the ink have to be pressed the same day it’s made? TIA

      That's a good question! We do not know, however since these items are not cheap, we suggest not taking any chances and going ahead and using it when you draw it :)

      I have drawn with the cricut maker with infusible ink pens and then used infusible markers and watered them down to paint the laser copy paper with a brush - and didn’t iron it for weeks and it worked fine, I would do a test first! Have fun!

    Do the shirts HAVE to be white? I know they have to be polyester to work best, but so that have to be white? I’d love to make shirts for my daughter but hate the idea of her staining a white shirt so easily lol.

      I tried it on a gray shirt that was 60% cotton and 40% polyester. The infusible ink was very dull. Also watch Cricut Design Space with Melody Lane. She recently did a video comparing Cricut's gray blanks and Cricut white blanks. Just search her channel.

      @@deborahwolfe198 your results were poor because your level of poly was only 40%. If you use a light color that’s all poly, you’ll have pretty decent results. You need at least 90% polyester.

      You cannot. Denim is too dark of a color, and also fabric that you use Infusible Ink with has to be mostly if not all Polyester :)

      if you apply a white vinyl glitter layer first then use infusible ink on top of the glitter. Th ink will infuse to the glitter and be visible on your denim. Have fun!

    Around 4:11, you said 98-100% Polyester? Is that right?

      70-100% Polyester is best. The lower polyester % means it will not be as bright and vibrant.

    You need to make it so your sound is louder I have my volume to the loudest and I still have problems hearing you.
