  • "Hi Vtec Academy subscribed to your TH-cam channel few months ago and now i finally have a question but it a long one. I have a 94 accord ex original idea was to swap in a euro h22. However ended up scoring a 04 tsx with 120k miles on the stock 6 speed trans with a K24a swapped in.
I started a part list to swap this into the 94 accord and would just like to make sure I have most of what I will need. Thanks
you in advance and for any tips in doing this swap."
    B18A1 into EG Civic
"I have 92 Civic VX and want to swap a B18a1 into it. What wiring harness, distributor, ECU, alternator, and axles will I need to make it a bolt-in swap? In addition, if I utilize the HA Sport engine mount kit for the EG chassis, will I need to make a dent in the frame rail to get the motor to fit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!Michael"
2002 Civic EX K Swap"Hello i have a 2002 civic ex coupe with a d17 and 5 spd manual. Just purchased a k24a2 from a 2005 tsx vin 9. Complete with harness ecu even gas pedal. But it is an automatic. I have found a few 6spd manuals but havnt bought one yet. This is my first honda project so all the db dc gd em names i have no idea what they mean. There seems to be a ton of almost info out there but none is very accurate what i need for swap.So far ive learned i need an rsx subframe but nothing about what years compatible. I did find a 2002 rsx subframe but dont know if its what i need? Also ive learned i need a crv engine bracket on passenger side. And 2005 civic hybird radiator and air con parts.Hasport mounts but dont know which ones?Unsure if the 2005 tsx exhaust header and down pipe will fit? No clue if i can use the tsx throttle body? Every video shows it replaced with others but dont understand why cant use it? If its throttle by wire i am getting all wiring complete. On to wiring is it feasible to use tsx at engine harness to passenger compartment harness? Will i need special convertors for speedometer etc? Going to 6spd manual how do i go about deactivating automatic trans sensors in ecu so no engine codes and everything work properly?Or should i be looking at using the manual trans ecu allready in car? Also best half shaft and axles to use 4 lug wheels Seen a video mentioned an imobilizer deactivator. Is this something i have to do also? And would really like to keep shifter looking oem so nobody suspects k swap. What is best option? And the million other things i havnt discovered yet that i will need.Oh ya and im far from rich so price is importantThank You for your time.Sincerely Chuck""
"How i know you are a real professional. When you strip wire you did not twist the end before crimping.Long time ago worked for a luxury ship company that lost huge amount of money over a single employee who "knew it all". That employee had twisted every wire before terminating. Over time wire relaxed where twisted and fell out of terminals.Guess its just my pet peave at my current employer i randomly remove a wire if twisted i tell employee redo it all.I litterally said outloud. Hell ya that guy knows his shit. When seen you did not twist ends.

I’d really like more 94-97 accord k-series swap content! Any recommendations for a shop in Phoenix who could do a k24 swap? Any idea of a ball park cost?

Hi. I really enjoyed this video and it was insightful. I'm in the process of doing a swap on my CB7 and I'm swapping in a F20B VTEC sohc with about 35k on it. What would I need to finish it? Oh and it's a full 5 speed engine and transmission. I have a P28 ECU and using the stock harness, the stock intake manifold with the stock fuel rail and with the stock injectors from my 1990 Accord. Please bless me with your knowledge and insight.
Thanks in advance a semi new subscriber Alex

Hello, great content. I learned how to rep in my crank sensor for my k24 swapped 91 Miata and I have a question. The RSX 02-04 engine harness and the MAP and IAT sensor green and yellow wires connected but they don't go anywhere else after they are connected(I got it from the junkyard). Could you please tell me where this wire should go? For example does it go to the ECU from there or is it a ground?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys thanks for all your hard work! Still trying to figure out the vibration while I accelerate in my H swapped CB7 unfortunately this issue still persists…. Fresh alignment, all new parts (manual converted rack, inner + outer tie rods, ball joints, bushings, bearings, upper arms etc.) every part is new and I’m getting discouraged and this is literally the only thing I’m having issues with in my swap besides not having reverse lights wired in lol

I got my swap mounts three point strut tower bar and traction bar from Explicit speed performance before John passed away. Top notch quality products seen all over and have been around since early nineties aka ESP

@@gsnuf2 feels similar to poorly balanced tires at highway speeds but in my case it’s most noticeable under mild to hard acceleration from 0-40 mph. Coasting or staying at constant highway speeds it’s not noticeable at all…

@@Steve_S419 did you change axles? I had that same problem using cheap axles. Also make sure the bearing on your intermediate shaft is good.

I heard that hasport axles tend to shake a lot under acceleration. I was really planning on doing a k swap for my 95 accord but I heard that axles tend to break a lot.
