Alot of people don't understand how much it means to have the diagnosis. Like you say it helps you understand yourself and have compassion. My son was 14 when he finally got his dyspraxia diagnosis and for him it was along the lines of a life saver because until then he suffered with depression and frustration and anger towards himself because he struggled with alot of tasks, when all his friends didn't. A diagnosis/label is everything when you are struggling. I agree Paune that you are lucky if you don't have to have a label.🧡
