Its really beautiful to me when Peter realizes his mask is off an there's a small panic like gosh I'm done, the secret will get out. Then he's reassured. I truly think that Rami captured the essence of Spider-Man. Plus all the giving Peter accomplished for New York. New York gave Spider-Man something back.

This is why i really love Sam Raimi's Spiderman trilogy, the New York is alive. The New York in those trilogy isn't just some greenscreen, citizens of NY witness and lived with Spiderman. I think The Rami Spiderman trilogy and the Nolan Batman trilogy are such strong superhero stories.
I think that they not only explain the hero and their trials and tribulations. But their inherent tragedy, the idea that by being a "hero" they cannot be "normal".
Yet both series show that Gotham and NYC have normal people who will step up to act like heroes. That not only can we be like them, but that they can be like us.
Its the idea that behind the mask their just scared, normal people who want to help others. Deep down I think most people are like that.
Dare I say...most people if put into the same exact situation of losing their loved ones and being given a chance to help others...would become superheroes as well

The scene that symbolizes how Spider-Man is now no longer a product of Peter’s guilt and self loathing for Ben’s death, but instead a product of his desire to not let down those who were, or may be, inspired by his heroism. It’s not better than Peter and Sandman’s final dialogue in 3, because… that’s just too high. But it comes close.

When Peter's body is falling from the train the camerawork is so good. The spidey logo is covered immediately by hands and arms of people in the train. That's why new York is such a huge part of Spider-man. Webb's Spider-man tried to mimick it and it worked sometimes and sometimes it didn't, while the less said about the Watts version the better.

*3 masterpiece movies. Spider-Man 3 was still a great and enjoyable film, despite the flaws the movie has, Sam Raimi still managed to make it a watchable movie despite of the overcrowded villains because of Sony's intervention to Sam's vision. Sam only wanted Sandman to be the main villain in the movie, with Harry Osborn as supporting villain, but Sony forced Sam Raimi to insert Venom because they know that Venom is a famous Spider-Man villain. But, Venom did not work in Spider-Man 3. There are a lot of deleted scenes that was only focused to Sandman because he is only supposed to be the main villain of the movie.

I honestly hoped that Spider-Man: No Way Home would be something like this, but flipped on it's head, a personal, rough, dramatic story about Peter having to deal with the fact that the people who he saves have now abandoned him because of the person he protected them from. In my head we would get villians hunting him, and the people too. Spidey would be force to realize that his uncle was right, Tony was right. Tony wanted him to be better, Ben wanted him to be responsible, May wanted him to be safe, and he failed all of them. He would now have to deal with that, and he would undo his actions, but also his love-life through Doctor Strange, and now he would be a lot closer to the ideal Spider-Man. But...I smell Avi Arad from a mile away, and I can tell he had a lot to do with the direction this new movie is being taken to, and I can only hope this movie is better than the one I had in my head.

    • @Spidey-oi5sn

The whole Avi Arad bullshit has been debunked bro, he lost the creative control of the character since TASM2 and the only people who have the control is Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige. The only thing you need to worry about now is the director and the writers of the next movie, it's because of these people that we won't never get a great Spider-Man flick since SM2 and Into the Spider-Verse, i advise you to keep your expectations low for now.

The Spider-Man trilogy are like the first three Christopher Reeve Superman films but more focussed
    - 1 = the origin story where the character learns about his responsibility
    - 2 = the character deals with the choice to become powerless and be with the love of their life or be a hero
    - 3 = The hero fights their dark side (Superman 3 could have been good if this is all the movie was however the rest of the inclusions suck)

In any other super hero movie, relationship problems are just noise between the action, like Captain America for example, who we don't care what house he lives, how he pays rent or whaterver. But this movie capitalizes on that juicy spider-man "more-power-more-problems" strugle. They knew the audience enjoys peter parker's daily strugles like no other hero. I'm just sad the movie doesn't give him a break, a time to enjoy his love or tranquility. There should have been more motivation to him.
