I was actually unaware for this whole decade how bad FIFA was and started playing FIFA19 and for the first week actually loved the game and after that started noticing all the scripting and the arcadey pinball mechanics.... never played a FIFA in my entire life never knew the hate behind it until recently and even I think the game is an atrocity

I miss all the extra content too. What ever happened to being able to tweak the temperature and precipitation? What ever happened to having the option of playing a divisional playoff game? An NFC championship? It’s just exhibition or Super Bowl now. Has been for a couple years now.
Play the CPU you will notice how dumb this game is. The CPU is sharp and controls every player at once and is given the smarts 98 percent of the game meanwhile your team is being manipulated by the system. Not to mention all the bad fundamentals and physics in this game is totally inconsistent.
My favorite is that you don't even need to have both feet down in the end zone for it to count as a touchdown, and even after the review they let it stand lol

I stopped buying all EA games after what they with the exclusive license BS, so I haven't bought an EA game since 2005. The NFL 2K series was so much better, and I loved NFL 2k2 on the PS2. "Once you lick the lollipop of mediocrity, you suck forever".

Some people can't accept the truth. EA Sport's (Madden and NBA Live in particular) quality has been horrible on the HD generations of consoles. They haven't made good products since the PS2 / Original Xbox.

I did a lot of madden 15 and 16 tips for my TH-cam. I do agree with you. Shit is still the same from then to now. They just keep polishing it over and over. Let’s also talk about the lack of flags in Madden Ultimate Team, virtually none. The blocking / warping is utter garbage like you said. The defenders have 0 play on the ball it seems. No way in the NFL would a WR have a walk in TD against 3 defenders. Also the blitzing in the game is dumb, if you overload one side, you should always get someone free, which you don’t! Great video! It’s not equivalent to a Basketball game not having a net, it’s equivalent to a Basketball game having the players not know how to shoot, dunk or layup though.

Yea I started a FOF the first day it came out and I instantly noticed how every receiver would catch the ball before the goal line, get two feet down, and run laterally on the goal line for 2 maybe 3 steps before pivoting and finally going in the end zone. Another time, he would do the same motion and get tackled at the 1 yard line and the only time that happened to me, we ended up not converting a touchdown on 3rd down and I was not given the opportunity to go for it with inches left on 4th down(madden sim). It honestly was the worst thing I've ever seen in all the maddens i've played over the years. It got me so fired up because I lost the game and my created QB couldn't go to the College Championship. It was a huge let down.
Oh my god the end zone awareness!!! You are so right. My first time playing madden 20 on my cousins console, I went for two to win the game. Threw the ball to Tyler Kroft, who was so wide open there might as well not have been a defense. He catches the ball but he runs it completely out of the back of the endzone and practically into the stands. No points and I lose. How in gods name would a professional football player not understand the dimensions of the endzone and where the boundaries are. Because in real life Tyler stops at the back and says “Well I can’t go any further” instead Madden allows him to catch it where fuckers are taking pictures and just keep on running like forest gump. I looked right at my cousin and said yep fuck this shit and never bought it. Even saved my 60$ gift card from last Christmas to Xbox live store for this and now I refuse. Absolutely refuse. They made 800 million dollars last year off of MUT mode and not a nickel got spent on any sort of game mechanics or improvements!!! Fuck Madden

Honestly, I think it's just people that can't accept how far the game has to go to be even remotely good. I also wouldn't be shocked if some of them were being paid off by EA themselves.
My roomate had the worst glitch/bug I've ever seen from a Madden game while playing 20 online h2h . He couldn't pick an offensive play, all of the plays disappeared. Finally a play was picked and then his whole offense disappeared from the field. In the end of the play his opponent ended up with +2 points as if my roommate somehow gave up a safety. I've never seen anything like it.
What happened to the old madden's like madden 05 when u attempt to do e for a touchdown and the defender can tackle u while u dive. I'm not talking about like u trynna hurdle over a defender and u flip in the endzone its actually a tackle animation to try to prevent the ball carrier from scoring a diving touched only tru og madden fans know what I'm talkin about.
Okay you move the safety down, we going to say in Madden he would have froze the animation would have caught where he froze, and Antonio Brown would have still got into the endzone, but again that is Legacy issues that is old cold for maybe 10 11 years back does killing this game flawed engine on top of broken code this is what you. 😒
EA sports is unacceptable. Madden has sucked for a long time, NBA live is a joke, and UFC is following the Madden playbook and put Fight Night to bed. Can't wait for the NFL licence to become nonexclusive. The last madden I bought was 16 before that it was 11, and the difference was unnoticeable. In fact the latest madden looks just like 11. People are buying roster updates each year, not only does it lack innovation but Madden's from decade(s) ago had better content.
This has been a complaint of mine for years. Not only goal line but first down marker. So many times I've had a receiver run behind the first down marker unnecessarily to catch a ball and cost me a first down. Or miss a TD by an inch because he wouldnt extend the ball 1 little inch to get the points.
How about when a defender goes directly into the route of a receiver and the receiver doesn't know to go around and continue his route? This has happened to me countless times it takes that receiver completely out the game cause he's stuck. Also I've had linemen who were supposed to block for me completely pull out at last minute and let me get hit. Madden is broken that's no lie.
Agreed on this video. EA corporate is holding Tiburon from really being the best. That is why for almost 15 years gamers has been hoodwinked. The current state of EA is maximum profitability with little to no changes to QA or lack thereof. Results are as such: SimCity 5 being a huge bust(got pulverized by Cities: Skylines with DLC the major emphasis until offline mode in 2016/2017), No NBA Street(greatest basketball game of all time). EA needs to go back to their roots.

I did a lot of madden 15 and 16 tips for my TH-cam. I do agree with you. Shit is still the same from then to now. They just keep polishing it over and over. Let’s also talk about the lack of flags in Madden Ultimate Team, virtually none. The blocking / warping is utter garbage like you said. The defenders have 0 play on the ball it seems. No way in the NFL would a WR have a walk in TD against 3 defenders. Also the blitzing in the game is dumb, if you overload one side, you should always get someone free, which you don’t! Great video! Keep up the good work! I also won’t get another madden until major gameplay improvements are made.

I doubt the folks who did 2K would be able to save Madden to be honest. Not like this is a disservice to them, I just don't believe EA itself has the proper mindset to release a proper, quality game.
I agree with the commenter mentioned in the video. It is unfair to compare M20 with APF2K8. Everytime you post a Madden comparison to 2K. Its embarrassing. That game is 12 years old...12 Years,...and still relevant.

Yea I started a FOF the first day it came out and I instantly noticed how every receiver would catch the ball before the goal line, get two feet down, and run laterally on the goal line for 2 maybe 3 steps before pivoting and finally going in the end zone. Another time, he would do the same motion and get tackled at the 1 yard line and the only time that happened to me, we ended up not converting a touchdown on 3rd down and I was not given the opportunity to go for it with inches left on 4th down(madden sim). It honestly was the worst thing I've ever seen in all the maddens i've played over the years. It got me so fired up because I lost the game and my created QB couldn't go to the College Championship. It was a huge let down.

Oh my god the end zone awareness!!! You are so right. My first time playing madden 20 on my cousins console, I went for two to win the game. Threw the ball to Tyler Kroft, who was so wide open there might as well not have been a defense. He catches the ball but he runs it completely out of the back of the endzone and practically into the stands. No points and I lose. How in gods name would a professional football player not understand the dimensions of the endzone and where the boundaries are. Because in real life Tyler stops at the back and says “Well I can’t go any further” instead Madden allows him to catch it where fuckers are taking pictures and just keep on running like forest gump. I looked right at my cousin and said yep fuck this shit and never bought it. Even saved my 60$ gift card from last Christmas to Xbox live store for this and now I refuse. Absolutely refuse. They made 800 million dollars last year off of MUT mode and not a nickel got spent on any sort of game mechanics or improvements!!! Fuck Madden
And they still fail find another assignment once theirs is done instead of just standing there, and fail to block unless the defender literally touches their body.
Over a quarter of EA's profits come from Madden's MyTeam and the game will never get better as long as it still being bought.

Man...I saw the career mode and heard people at nauseam talk about gameplay improvements and wanted to give it a chance but i’m glad I held off because of videos like yours. It’s not a “Madden Bashing” it’s a “Hey, fix your fucking game, because logistically it doesn’t make sense”.

I still play 2K4 and 2K5 as of this day....Right on RyanMoody.....The only way to make EA give up the license is to BOYCOTT those BASTARDS....or....Convince 2K to publish another Video Football Game using ALL Retired NFL - CFL Players and let the user create the team, the logos, the stadiums, etc....APF 2K8 used Retired NFL players - NO LICENSE from the NFL IS REQUIRED

My roomate had the worst glitch/bug I've ever seen from a Madden game while playing 20 online h2h . He couldn't pick an offensive play, all of the plays disappeared. Finally a play was picked and then his whole offense disappeared from the field. In the end of the play his opponent ended up with +2 points as if my roommate somehow gave up a safety. I've never seen anything like it.
What happened to the old madden's like madden 05 when u attempt to do e for a touchdown and the defender can tackle u while u dive. I'm not talking about like u trynna hurdle over a defender and u flip in the endzone its actually a tackle animation to try to prevent the ball carrier from scoring a diving touched only tru og madden fans know what I'm talkin about.

EA sports is unacceptable. Madden has sucked for a long time, NBA live is a joke, and UFC is following the Madden playbook and put Fight Night to bed. Can't wait for the NFL licence to become nonexclusive. The last madden I bought was 16 before that it was 11, and the difference was unnoticeable. In fact the latest madden looks just like 11. People are buying roster updates each year, not only does it lack innovation but Madden's from decade(s) ago had better content.

This has been a complaint of mine for years. Not only goal line but first down marker. So many times I've had a receiver run behind the first down marker unnecessarily to catch a ball and cost me a first down. Or miss a TD by an inch because he wouldnt extend the ball 1 little inch to get the points.

How about when a defender goes directly into the route of a receiver and the receiver doesn't know to go around and continue his route? This has happened to me countless times it takes that receiver completely out the game cause he's stuck. Also I've had linemen who were supposed to block for me completely pull out at last minute and let me get hit. Madden is broken that's no lie.

Agreed on this video. EA corporate is holding Tiburon from really being the best. That is why for almost 15 years gamers has been hoodwinked. The current state of EA is maximum profitability with little to no changes to QA or lack thereof. Results are as such: SimCity 5 being a huge bust(got pulverized by Cities: Skylines with DLC the major emphasis until offline mode in 2016/2017), No NBA Street(greatest basketball game of all time). EA needs to go back to their roots.

You're 100% right. EA bought the rights to be the ONLY company that can make a NFL game because they feared what 2K sports was doing. Since EA sports bought the license Madden has gone down in quality. I swear their programmers don't even play or comprehend football

Ever since Madden was able to essentially monopolize the NFL, it has went downhill. Which, when there is no one else then the consumers begin to get screwed on anything, and Madden falls right in line.

My hb crossed the goal line, game indicated td. Then defender stripped ball, game indicated fumble. Both indications appeared simultaneously
