In 2k8 when a player gets hurt and is laying on the ground, nearby players will come to him and kneel or interact with him. Cool dynamic feature, wish they had the old 2k5 injury cutscene to go with it too

I had an offensive player suffer a broken back. Went back and looked at the replay. Nothing happened. He blocked for a second or 2. Stopped. Play ends. He walks back to the huddle. Apparently with a broken back tho smh

I have APF 2k8 and you can even see your QB, when your defense is on the field, calling up to the offensive coordinator in the booth on the sideline phone. We can’t even get the actual players STILL in Madden on the sideline
Would have made sense to have the helmet throwing animation if he was ruled out for the game. What player is doing that when they're out for a drive at most? Would be interesting if a player could try to tell you he's good then you as a coach have to determine whether or not to trust him.

I think Madden 15 had some decent injury animations. It got weird when you'd always see them on the exercise bike later. Of course they took it out after one game.
Madden developers remind me of the guy at work who wants to play in the fantasy football league but doesnt even like sports. The concept of drafting players is known, but who to draft, when and why is completely unknown. These guys can program a game. They just dont know what they're programming for or why. I don't think any of them really watch sports. ... It doesnt help that MUT has blown up into such a big deal with madden buyers. That is EA Sports main focus. They dont care about the casual football fan who wants realistic stats and lifelike gameplay. They care about arcade style excitment and their next big yield from a large purchase of cards so the player can build a fantasy team and rule the ranking boards. ...I have a fucking rocket noise when I throw the football for crying out loud. What is that!?! Basketballs swoosh when they go through the net, footballs dont roar when thrown through the thin air. ...but, I bought the damn game. They got my money, even if I had tons of doubt. I had issues with 2K's controls (charge up moves), controls linked actual player movements (not the animations per se), floaty passing and some other things, across the sports gaming board back in the day but I made the purchases. I didn't play my APF much and ended up trading it in then I'd whip out the demo here and there over the yrs just to see if I felt differently but still feel the same yet lots of the animations are so great to see to this day. EA needs to cut the bullshit, give up the resources, and let the devs pretty much have autonomy to create what they and the gamers want.

I was coming behind him and got tackled from behind resulting in me falling on his leg as we both feel. He got a knee injury

EA NHL is similiar. You can absolutely destroy a guy over and over and it will have 0 effect on gameplay. In 2k hockey if you laid out the player more then 2 times all there stats would start to drop and they would noticably play different.
Please just bring back all pro football 2K. No NFL licensing needed at this point. Just give us a full and complete game. With similar presentation and options of 2K5. At the current gen level.
If they would change that cutscene to when a Qb or someone fumbled or blew a coverage for a TD I think it would make more sense and then have a player come over an pat him on the shoulder

It would be in a sling or something or icing it or at least a trainer is over there tending to him. Like I don't see the ambulance or the Gator Cart that takes the players off. I'm surprised Peterson didn't get a ride back in the Gator Cart.

I think they're just putting things in the game to have them in there. I am guessing that the NFL doesn't want them to show a guy tear his ACL or get a concussion. I honestly don't care if they have different animations at the moment. Wouldn't you rather have them fix something more important

You should do a clip on pump faking I usto use it alot on 2k to make the linemen jump to buy more time something madden has never consider and the shoulder roll u can do with the right stick with QB to shake free a defender

I’m a KC fan and have been since I was a little boy unfortunately, haha. So I want to especially purchase the game to play with a very decent KC team this year minus the defense. It’s not nitpicking, it’s a relevant point. So many details that occur in a regular football game are missing in Madden.
It all adds up. Combine this with poor gameplay and it's just too much.

How many Maddens do you need to get it right
This is scary that 2007 football sim is clearly more real then madden 2056 haha. I literally have NFL 2k5 and AP 2k8 in rotation cause I'm sick of Madden. I have a series x & madden 21 next gen.

Guys I am really needing a couple of achievements for this game to unlock the 5 ability gold stars options. Winning a league or tournament would be the number one that I need help with. Is there any possible way to get this done still? Is anyone willing to help me?
