More new territory for me! Who knew? Can’t believe how many trees came down in that recent storm. Such a shame really. Lovely to see the bluebells out as spring is further along than here. Great video, Ross. Thank you. 🇬🇬

During the storm in 1999, I saw in my garden our very high walnut tree falling, it didn't resist to winds more than 150 km/h near Paris.
On picture dated 1890 you posted on this channel, there was no trees around Le Guet !

Hi Ross, sad to see so many trees down. I remember whilst attending Castel primary school back in the late 1950's. We were taken down nearer to the community centre to help plant trees but I'm not sure what the occasion was. It could possibly have been a Royal visit.

Hi Ross, you need to be fitter if you ever walk in the high parishes eh?

Unfortunately Ross a lot of those trees that came down do not look healthy with many dead branches.
