OH whew, I thought this was gonna be one of those EXPOSED videos where we would learn a ton of terrible things about one of our favorite people in the world. thankfully, Mark is genuinely one of the most amazing people and this isn't the case!
idk man he did a fundraiser for a charity that supports abusive 'therapies' for disabled kids. doesn't seem great to me
@@jzmc7562 so many people posted about it, tagged him, some people that were in the livestream dropped out because of the charity (rhett and link for example). He knew. Being a parent to a disabled kid doesn't mean you can't be ableist.

I expected this to take a negative turn at some point but honestly it ended on a kind of wholesome note. I’ve definitely seen a few videos of his here and there and I’m glad he seems to be doing it all with only positivity and fun in mind still.
TH-cam was made for creators like Mark. Every video, a banger. Hard to replicate. Not even money can buy what he can do. It's all thanks to that creative brain many big TH-camrs wish they had.

As an engineering student, channels like Mark Rober, Stuff Made Here, Practical Engineering, etc. are extremely inspirational and insightful. They show not only the complexity of the concepts I am learning in my classes, but also what I can do with my skills in the near future. Mark and Stuff Made Here have helped show me that with the effort and knowledge, I can put a lot of my ideas into practice.
Given that it is now summer, I intend to work on some small projects and hopefully upload a couple videos showcasing my work. They won’t be much, but they will serve more as future points of reference in my skills and abilities at any given time.

I have been watching Mark since 2014 and I can say that even today, he still is so underrated for the amount of talent he puts out. Truly a great guy, he cares about others and his videos are top notch.
Mark is one of the guys who definitely deserves his subscriber count and despite being so smart and successful, he still seems incredibly humble.
He’s such a cool guy, he’s a great person who wants to teach/educate in a fun way on the platform, I wish more TH-camrs were like this
Always been a fan of Mark, as a Mechanical Engineer I enjoy videos like that. When I found out he was an ME as well it was really nice to see.
I never knew of this guy, but I HAVE seen some of his videos and I didn’t even know. He’s seems so awesome and wholesome :)

It’s pretty obvious the reason he took so long to succeed was he had to develop his incredibly likeable and relatable personality, which is really hard to do and still seem to know about something like mechanical engineering. The sort or “character” he developed on camera really gives him a whole layer of credibility and approachability even if you aren’t super into science.
I like how Mr. Rober talks about other youtubers that helped him do the things he did. He’s such a positive guy!

He reminds me a lot of Grant Thomson. Hopefully it doesn’t end in a similar way to how Grant went since both are/were great people and it’s a shame that Grant went so soon.

The first mark video I saw was the one where he put a new horn in his car and I instantly loved his channel. I still plan to make my own horn like that when I get my first car.

It’s so wild to see that he didn’t actually hit 1 mill subscribers until 2016. I was among the OG subscribers who liked him because he was nerdy and made weird, wholesome videos. I guess I always just considered him a cool, popular TH-camr and never paid attention to the numbers.
I like that Mark Rober along with Mr. Beast did a bet who can clean the most from the polluted waters. Rober would use a machine that floated in the water, and Mr. Beasts would just have volunteers cleaning from the shore. Cool vid, plus a link to donate to help clean up the water. Love that one.
i was ready to go to battle for mark but thankfully the comments show that his video is good lol. as someone that once had the same passion while experiencing those high school engineering projects , I ultimately flunked out of college and wasn't able to pursue a career in engineering.

as a student who is going to engineering, seeing the stuff Mark Rober does make me love engineering and make me want to push pass the thing that is a engineering student schedule (for those who know, you know what I mean)

When I saw him making the glitter bomb, I just remembered that I watched one of his videos few days ago, about him using the glitter bomb to expose scammer. He collaborated with Jim Browning too. That was so cool. Also, the way he explained things didn't seem or feel cocky, just enthusiastic. Hoping for the best for Mark.

I didn't start to follow Mark until the video of his reaction vlog style to seeing the successful landing of the curiosity rover on mars. Saw that, checked out some other stuff and hit subscribe. That said, the iPad2 costume was a video was one of the first videos ever saw on TH-cam, nothing feels like its changed until you see the past haha
