I had a girlfriend like that. She would try many things with her business. Crazy fun things and make them work...or not. One time she made this sill piece of art with sentimental and silly items in a grid of boxes. I remember orange peel, my naval lint and a Lego Jar Jar binks. It sold for $100.
its so true. my best friend bought nothing for himself, wore the same shitty clothing for a decade through/out of collage, same shit car. bought an apartment building with savings money in 09 and cold called alumni to get investors over the next decade. we fixed up old, bottom dollar apartments - banks rejected loans to us, people thought we were insane for going so fast, so much risk. now a decade later and all the seed investors have 15K monthly passive income.

It depends on how you define success. I don't define success as having made a lot of money, but when you're truly content and happy. Money doesn't buy happiness. If that were the case, rich people would always be happy.

And you do need money to survive and not be hungry. So you need a bit of money in order to fulfill basic needs, without those, you wouldn't be happy. I wouldn't be happy on an empty stomach, no place to live and wet in the rain

Mr. Beast talking about how the algorithm knows him so well that he gets annoyed with how many videos it recommends that he wants to watch is so relatable. I've been watching a ton of TH-cam to learn from it, and as a result I get a crazy amount of videos recommended every morning that occupies most of my day to watch them all. I currently have 9 tabs open (not including this one) of TH-cam videos I haven't watched yet. It's taken about 12 hours to get it down that far. I never knew how much amazing quality content there was on the platform before. And to think I just used it to watch lyric videos for years. So much wasted time.
Can you imagine trying to sell cable subscriptions when youtube is a thing

Have you tried using the queue function instead? You can start the day just adding all the videos you like into a queue and then work through them without having to faff with multiple tabs and windows.

His goal is the Importent factor. He does everything for it, other things dosnt matter only to get to his goal (like money, fame etc.). Thats inspiring.
As I was watching this I realized how when I was growing up I’d always tell myself that one day I will be wealthy and with all the money I get I would help people out and it’s actually amazing to see how jimmy is literally the kind of guy my younger self dreamed of being… hopefully one day I can also be able to help people in the ways he does
I think one of the best things about Mr Beast is that he’s such an inspiration to such a vast audience
Maybe the difference is Jimbo still helped people when he had nothing. He'd give his last dime. It's that kind of sacrifice.. nowadays people wont even give you a dollar for gas

Jimmy deserves all the success. i think most people would of kept most of the money they make instead of investing it on their career. that’s why most people will buy luxury cars, clothes, accessories and a mansion but you can tell he’s passionate and determined. he never let the quality go down. every video, has to be better than the previous video. it’s admirable and respectable. he’s not money hungry bc he knows it will come

Jimmy is such a humble and honest guy. He doesn't do it for the money, he does it because he loves it. I think that's what makes his videos genuinely great. His perspective of "what can I do to make this better" is a philosophy I plan on adopting to make my videos better in the future. Great job on the video guys

I'm pretty convinced that whatever sort of business or industry he'd been obsessed with he'd have been incredibly successful
I am not a youtuber but things he said just resonates so well with me. The obsessed aspect is particularly close to home, I was getting worried about how obsessed I have been with my business and growing it. I talk about it non stop, I hardly watch sports, I have to do everything myself, my family is sick of hearing about it, but I know that what I am doing is working. This was nice to have that reminder that being on a island is not a bad thing. Not that I was going to stop but this interview put a little more wind in my sales. Thank you for this.

@Let's Talk "All he talks about is himself" ...kinda the point of an interview about him. He's humble, he doesn't talk down on other creators or say he's better than everyone else, he's said multiple times how grateful he is for his fans and how he wouldn't be where he was without the people who supported him. Striving for the top doesn't mean he's not humble, it's his goal and he's working really hard for it.

Jimmy’s open book honesty on everything is unbelievable. I’m so happy he’s become the success he is, as it’s grounded in the best possible place.
Jimmy understands what trickle down actually means (not that I support that ideology as it requires those above to hand down cash which they tend to not want to do, but if everyone in a position of power was like Jimmy the world would be a much better place)
Jimmy really is on a whole other level with thinking and passion. You can tell in how he talks and he shrugs it off as if its another speck of dust on his shoulder. I dont know about you but i wish i had even a quarter of his passion he has for making videos to put into my life. Its inspiring and intimidating all at once!!! I bet spending just half a day with him would change your life or at least your way of thinking.
For me the best part about this video is when Jimmy hold the microphone for Tareq. I think this shows the true nature of him. Even now, when he is so crazy successful he is as humble as ever. I think after his work ethic and dedication this is the second most important part of the puzzle "MrBeast".

Mr beast is one of my motivators and it's not even because of his money, it's because of how humble and genuine he is, I tell my kids I look forward to my youtube ch taking off so we can give back, and honestly I am looking forward to it. Real joy and happiness come from giving and being so humble about it, remember I said this, I'm doing things behind closed doors but when I do have the resources to do more I will be doing it. Thank you, MR Beast and all the other creatures that is giving back not just for clout but because they genuinely find joy in giving, much love everyone.

I watched his videos because I was curious, jumped through a few from his early days to latest ones. In the end once you see a few you see them all, he is clever the way he does it but in the end it is the same stuff. He just stated that the retention is key, throw crazy shit in there to keep it interesting.
Also I saw a few people that were supposed to be "randoms" to receive free stuff in previous shots.

As amazing as Jimmy's story is the most amazing thing is how he used his exposure and videos to help people! The influence he has on youtube creators goes way beyond his hometown. Many creators videos are all about themselves and Jimmy's videos are about the people he helps and the issues he draws attention to. Through his videos he is having a positive influence on the world! What a great way to earn a living! MrBeast deserves every bit of his success!

Doesn't apply to just YT. Can also apply to education. I'm in my third year of college and I can count on 1 hand the amount of teachers that were noticeably passionate about what they did and taught; where their excitement about teaching and their subject is infectious. Makes class so much more interesting
