For a while it was believed you could not have autism and ADHD at the same time. Now, it has come to be known as AuDHD.
I am in my teens and have autism and I can say everything you said in this video about the autistm spectrum is true. Over time some people can make their own filter, for example: I can still hear everything else, but the person I'm talking to is the main source of my concentration if I focus and at this point at restaurants I just have to listen to 7 different conversations and had to get used to it over time..... Probably why I always cried near the end of every dinner for YEARS.

The clip of the father and the son in the manual transmission car had me crying. Never in my life have I had a moment like that with my father. But it still makes me happy to see how wonderful life can be when you truly accept people for who they are.
My 8 year old is also diagnosed with autism. Thank you for making this and raising such sensitive, humanizing awareness.

You guys are great. I cannot help but express my deep joy that you exist in this world. I understand that your path is not always easy. I am a single father myself. When my son and I were alone, I was 20, and it was extremely difficult. There were days when I had to give up food just to feed my son. Every time I looked at his smile, I felt that I was ready to endure any difficulties for his sake, to become stronger and better. Today I work as a programmer, and everything was going very well for us. I wish your son and all the children of this world will and happiness. After your video, I realized that I wanted to share these feelings of gratitude and admiration. Thank you for your work and inspiration

This was really inspiring and definitely was a tear jerker. I relate to this with my son as well. He wanted to make TH-cam videos, so I’ve tried to help him, but the internet is a scary thing. This has given me more courage to continue trying to help him with his dream. Thanks for having the courage to share this!
Really glad you are a father, its obvious how great you are with kids and it just makes sense you would be a great dad. You seem like a really sensitive and caring person, which is important for Autistic kids.

Its not possible to give answer to unlimited amounts of question so before commenting how about you answer this. Would you rather live with a disease or die to end it all? If you pick to live then hospitals should ban the process to end someone misery.

Thank you Mark for sharing your family's story! I know that being blessed with and getting to parent a special needs child can be very challenging but watching them grow and thrive makes it all so worth it. Our children are truly blessings from our Creator!!!!!

My brother has low-functioning Autism which basically means for him he can’t talk in whole sentences and can’t go to the toilet, doesn’t understand danger, crying hurts him etc. It’s really sad and it’s hard for all of us

I go back and watch this from time to time, it's heartwarming to watch, I might not have an autistic son or daughter, but I do have an autistic boyfriend, and I never smile quite as much as I do when I'm around him

My autistic stepson is 22 and is 130 miles into his hike along the Appalachian Trail alone. This has been the thing that drives him every day. He’s trained for this every day and right now is out there living his best life. I’m so incredibly proud of him.
