    Steli, great content. Make a video on "Cold Calling? What's This Regarding?". What I mean is whenever I call and get to a gatekeeper and I ask for the person I am trying to reach (through my research), the gate keeper asks: "What's this regarding?" and THAT is where I get stuck. I say something like "it is a business matter, or "it is networking related".

    Great tips. Recording calls and listening to them afterwards has been a great help in improving my calls. There are many free android apps out there that automatically record calls. ACR is one of them. really amazing tool.

    Recording is great. I would also add journaling and writing down live notes. As, if not more, effective than recording.

    I need all the help I can get When it comes to speeding up my cold calls at work. I'm supposed to get them done in 1 hour but it takes me 3 hours. And I've been doing this for almost a year and I still get anxiety and that's why I drag them on. Makes no sense. You would think you would try to get it over with if you didn't like doing it..

    im not in sales and my question is, how do you find 100-500 numbers to call in a day?

    • @closecrm
      @closecrm  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. 2 things:
      1) to make 100-500 calls a day, you don't need to find 100-500 numbers a day. Because a lot of cold calling is just dialing the same number multiple times over a series of days since most of the time you won't actually get through.
      2) check out blog.close.io/b2b-lead-generation-for-startups for the 3 main approaches for finding numbers :)

      subscribe to linked in sales navigator for 1 month's free trial (they ask you for a credit card, but make sure to cancel before the 30 day trial is up). From there you can connect with people, and then you can see their company information and from there you can look up the phone number online.
