Great sales skills. One thing I noticed is he threw out three potential objections to the client which I'm assuming are the most relevant they receive in their field of business. He's basically asking the client to knock the biggest objection out early rather than later so the client has no objection to stand on when he asks for the sell. Then not only that this man taught him how to overcome the objection from the gate keeper when he goes to his boss. With the mechanic explanation This was masterful

This is perhaps the hardest person to close a sales manager in charge of sales people buying a program about sales. But the same techniques apply and once he had him explaining his business to him I mean you’re halfway home at that point. The rest of it was just confidence building and friendship building. And I think you had to establish dominance. And make him feel like he was the only person in the world that hadn’t bought this program yet and that by not buying it he was going to destroy his business
And it's just taking off two zeros (100 cents in a dollar, or 100% of 100) hardly a tricky math problem - the guy is preaching to the converted and it's meant to be exciting? No hammer needed.
As someone who sells 30 cars a month GC does offer some good insight into how closing the sale works. The main thing is to keep your cool and make it your own. They need to buy from you for you. If the customer won’t come face to face to negotiate then they aren’t worth the time. If you come across desperate they aren’t coming in.
You can never become a good salesman and sell authentically if you are not ready to buy something from a good salesman yourself. If you want to be a good salesman, you have to become a good buyer first.

Having worked as a salesman in auto dealerships for 20 years, Grant really only cares about himself. There are plenty of people out there all trying to sell dealers any program that appeals to their greedy nature of increasing revenues, often times resulting in pay plan changes that do not benefit the salespeople, only management. The auto industry is evolving away from salespeople into order takers and appointment setters. Now dealers can hire unskilled people to greet people, park the car up front, and shuffle them into finance. I found the environment to have become a grind house for salespeople. RIP auto industry. You can thank the Cox group and Grant Cardone.

i think the moral of the story here is that you have to custumize grant closes to your industry, get closer survival guide by him and customize all the closes to your specific product, don't say them word by word, he clearly customizes his closes to his product and even has closes that would only work for his product
A lot of people pointing out "mistakes" here, he's showing that its about the knowledge/experience but there isn't always 100% Computer-Accuracy. You go in. And its natural. Human to Human, like dating. You'll know the dating principles but not always memorize the Female Dynamics and Charisma theories would you? Its rather about applying the things in your mind and taking action in real time and doing it everyday. Thats why he's successful
There are so many points throughout this video where I am sitting here imploring GC to ask for the sale. He just talks and talks and talks, and doesn't ask for the sale. I'm a longtime consumer of Grant's content and I love it (in fact, I've purchased Cardone University for myself), but this is not a good job of closing.
Very great skills and clearly knows his stuff. The one thing i did notice and probably cause it's over the phone, seems to not give 2 shits what the buyer wants as long as he makes the sale. I might be wrong but that's what I got from the vid.
The guy was giving getaway stories no real objections, was just trying not to buy from grant. So you have to wave through that garbage and confront the boogie man like he said.
When I was a Sales Manager, I did cold calls, and it didn't look like this one. Every "prospect" I contacted, treated me like shit. And it's not about persistence or confidence. It's all about fishing. Our success is based on a number of our reached goals. However, to make ourselves famous means to dash through a minefield. That's the only way you can talk to the clients in that way like in the video.
That's a pro sales call! He's selling to a "pro" seller and getting it done! On every sales call somebody is being sold...either you sell them on why they need it or THEY sell you on why they don't! (quote)
Why not make a training *deal this way:* "4.5million last year? We train you for a whole year and will get 10% of everything above 4.5 mill - this is how confident we are!"
Because what if the reason behind the increase isn’t the sales team but the advertisement or word of mouth. No ones going to share there profit that easy.
The potential buyer literally said I’m already sold I just have to talk with ED then Grant literally continued selling. Maybe he just likes hearing himself speak.
Great responses.. Intelligent points. 18 minutes talking to someone that isn't the decision maker though. The close should've been making an appointment with the decision maker.
Hey Grant...You're quite sharp and quick. How about listening to your client - putting him - front and center, instead of phishing for responses you need to sell your next line? You seem like a nice guy in your videos but you work like your time is running out. You might close the sale, but how's your experience of what you are doing? It's your energy and attention that closes the sale that combines with what the customer needs - not being a bulldog. Sorry man, but you're so easy to read. It's too bad, the best part of you on the internet is when you're not working! What the videos for contrast and see yourself for yourself. If you pull a little bit of your authentic self into your deals - you'll make more. Period.
The fact is, it doesnt matter if he comes across greedy or narcissistic. His true skill is he has ABSOLUTELY NO FEAR. Although, you can totally hear much fear in the caller. Lose the fear, and i garauntee you, the percentage of closes will Absolutely increase. That is just human nature!!!
What if the prospect says that I think it's not going to work? When asked to choose from the 3 mentioned reason for "you wouldn't do this". Waiting for a reply.
An interesting thing to watch....one thing I noticed is how Cardone makes the connection between business success and skillful staff, 9:37-10:03 and from 10:19-10:27. Notice how the company Cardone is selling to focuses on advertising to drive business and does nothing in training/developing their staff......I know it would be hard to change their mindset on de-valuing employees but that's the pitch I'd make the most over everything else Cardone tries.
When I'm making a call on the phone. I definetly endorse Mr. Cardone. These people who lack moxy and spunk is what I dont condone. So pick up the phone , bust out calls and get in the zone !

I've got no real sales experience, and not to be critical, but I find it strange that all the gurus tell you everything about everything, but basically not to let it get to the dollars and cents. In my experience, again, not much there, it always comes down to dollars and cents. They (clients) always want to go there.
if i prospected a new lead? found out they were part of a chain? i would delegate and utilize my Business development managers to secure the whole group? then i would manage each site within the group in my area, use people that can secure bigger deals, higher managers, regional or corporate to gain it? never stop...keep pushing forward, if you do not succeed? try again in a few months? the first few no's ....sometimes land a huge YES

i think the moral of the story here is that you have to custumize grant closes to your industry, get closer survival guide by him and customize all the closes to your specific product, don't say them word by word, he clearly customizes his closes to his product and even has closes that would only work for his product
Arguably the greatest salesman ever
Then you have no clue about sales
A lot of people pointing out "mistakes" here, he's showing that its about the knowledge/experience but there isn't always 100% Computer-Accuracy. You go in.
And its natural. Human to Human, like dating.
You'll know the dating principles but not always memorize the Female Dynamics and Charisma theories would you?
Its rather about applying the things in your mind and taking action in real time and doing it everyday. Thats why he's successful
Grant. You're one of the few people in this world who really walk the talk. Take my money.
Grant Cardone is such a G that he sells to sales professionals that know the tricks lol.
i have zero idea what im listening to but i feel smart and professional
Very great skills and clearly knows his stuff. The one thing i did notice and probably cause it's over the phone, seems to not give 2 shits what the buyer wants as long as he makes the sale. I might be wrong but that's what I got from the vid.
The guy was giving getaway stories no real objections, was just trying not to buy from grant. So you have to wave through that garbage and confront the boogie man like he said.
"Your people can not read OK" 😂 what an awesome call!
I watch cold call videos to fall asleep...
(quote)
Love the comments. You can spot the low producers and poor sales people so easily. "Whaaaa, it won't work, let me send out emails or letters".
Jesus imagine those 2 gremlins in the background turning up to train your sales team
Uncle G is all about Pure Brute Force, he will literally Pound & Pound until he gets what he wants.
Dogshit product he sells what a scam 😂👍
Being in sales cold calling, I love GC. Goes for the kill strategically.
Aggressively*
beast the process! beast = best :D hard questions, take people uncomfortable from his bubble, fish him in your playground! CLOSE! GOOD MAN!
Why not make a training *deal this way:* "4.5million last year? We train you for a whole year and will get 10% of everything above 4.5 mill - this is how confident we are!"
They would of already projected to make more money than last year already. It was a just a rhetoric question to get another yes.
Because what if the reason behind the increase isn’t the sales team but the advertisement or word of mouth. No ones going to share there profit that easy.
Sales is all about having patience and engaging the prospect and going all along by explaining the product and what it can do for them....
" YOU GOTTA COMFRONT THE FREAKING BOGGIE MAN"
Confront* Boogie*
If you get rejected enough times on the phone, after a while, you will not care that much, when you will get just No's one after the other.
The potential buyer literally said I’m already sold I just have to talk with ED then Grant literally continued selling. Maybe he just likes hearing himself speak.
Because he is basically training him to convince the decision maker.
Great responses.. Intelligent points. 18 minutes talking to someone that isn't the decision maker though. The close should've been making an appointment with the decision maker.
that laugh at 10:00 was the dealmaker
luca rossetti hard thing to sell
the dealbreaker was long before this point, that laugh was nothing in the grander scheme of the call lol.
Agree

King of warm calls
Period.
Bird Plan Amen. 18 minutes and no close? For this product line? Definitely not someone I'm interested in learning from.
Bird Plan I can't up you enough. So true on all points
Honestly I agree, he seems to be soooo into himself, but it works oddly....
Jeff Sadowski 💯
The fact is, it doesnt matter if he comes across greedy or narcissistic. His true skill is he has ABSOLUTELY NO FEAR. Although, you can totally hear much fear in the caller. Lose the fear, and i garauntee you, the percentage of closes will Absolutely increase. That is just human nature!!!
“If I say yes can I get off this phone call soon?”
What if the prospect says that I think it's not going to work? When asked to choose from the 3 mentioned reason for "you wouldn't do this".
Waiting for a reply.
I advertise with our global goals it shows me what gets spent
Grant the guy who makes hundred million but still love the traditional cold calls
He is literally training this guy to pitch his own product to the other share holder.
The call was awsome its not bullshit i am closing with total strangers this is minds game
literally on his hands and knees begging someone to buy his product lol
Not, not literally - you mean, figuratively.
When I'm making a call on the phone. I definetly endorse Mr. Cardone. These people who lack moxy and spunk is what I dont condone. So pick up the phone , bust out calls and get in the zone !
I am not a salesman but I love to watch your live calls.
Grant you asked tough questions of who was the leader of the company what got me was you broke down how much cost company per month , training employees how make better sales
If my company asked me to waste 30min a day on grant cardone stuff, 180hrs, 4.5 weeks, I’d quit.
Got him to open up...Now that call actually begins
Why waist time with the gatekeeper and not go for the man with the check book? Grant you got my money, hand it over!
So he can have 2 people selling the decision maker at once and one of them he probably trusts much more than Grant
People you have to understand Grant was talking to someone already closed on Grant Cardone this is thanks to his genius marketing for his personal brand
That is how you close it, brother. Grant Cardone is the rainmaker. No Questions need to be asked. Enough Said. Salute and Respect.
Yanumar Noer
They’ve done studies before you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.
Grant you’re such an inspiration. One day I promise I will take all the information you have given me and make that in to 10 million! I know it’s going to take a while but it will happen and that will be because of you.
How is that going for you?
I've got no real sales experience, and not to be critical, but I find it strange that all the gurus tell you everything about everything, but basically not to let it get to the dollars and cents. In my experience, again, not much there, it always comes down to dollars and cents. They (clients) always want to go there.
They talk price in this video.
Great video. Great example of squeezing the real objection from a customer. It's hard for a lot of guys to admit they're not the Decision Makers.
The DMs are scared to make the decision. Why they are so hard to talk to.
if i prospected a new lead? found out they were part of a chain? i would delegate and utilize my Business development managers to secure the whole group? then i would manage each site within the group in my area, use people that can secure bigger deals, higher managers, regional or corporate to gain it? never stop...keep pushing forward, if you do not succeed? try again in a few months? the first few no's ....sometimes land a huge YES
Lolllll a great example if you want to be stressed through the roof, and require customers already to have heard of you and respect you.
God I love it when people get off their WTF story.....and own.BEING.Grant E factor is way gamechanger
Dude on the phone is giving up ALL his numbers!!!
Ever think it's a plant? Who'd be that dumb?
