    Thank you so much for this video! Im struggling to get out of this flare up. I was passed around by different doctors for over a year while flaring up before being diagnosed (lost 100 lb unintentionally!) so there's extensive damage causing a lot of pain when I eat. Its nice to have a list of safe foods.

      Absolutely!!! I am so sorry it took that long for you to get diagnosed. You should not have had to go through that 😞😣😞 That should not be happening. I feel like these symptoms get overlooked sometimes, and I hope that by speaking out about our experiences they will start to put the pieces together sooner when people present symptoms. Let me know if I can support you in any other way! More videos to come! Thank you so much for being here! Sending love and healing 💛

    I've been trying, and from what I hear it's very good!
    Juicing raw cabbage 16 to 24 oz once in the morning and once in the evening. Things are getting better for me ever since I've been juicing for over a week now. I see enough of a difference to continue on for another two weeks.

      Oh that’s interesting! I’ve heard of celery juice helping but I haven’t heard of juicing raw cabbage. Thank you so much for sharing! I might have to give that a try!

    How do you feel about going out to eat during or right after a short flare up? Considering restaurants and stuff use vegetable oils and sometimes it’s a lot even for someone without Crohns. Do you focus on home cooked meals?

    • @_TheHealingQueen_
      @_TheHealingQueen_  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do focus on home cooked meals around a flare just to get back on my feet. Unless it is a restaurant that lists their ingredients and I can see what theyre using and find something that doesn’t use inflammatory oils/problem foods.

      @@_TheHealingQueen_ thanks for the response. I imagined this would be the more sensible option. My boyfriend struggles with home cooked meals and finds himself eating out even after a flare up which seems like a recipe for disaster. He’s also been drinking energy drinks which I’ve heard some people say the completely avoid caffeine. It’s been difficult to watch because it seems like he hasn’t hacked what doesn’t work for him, and then says feeling bad isn’t bc of the food; which I can understand that but in some cases I don’t imagine it helps the situation. I’m trying to see how I can be of help. I just imagine that it’s very common for people with crohns to just not do restaurants. Also have probiotics ever helped you or anyone else touch might know with Crohns / IBS etc?

    • @_TheHealingQueen_
      @_TheHealingQueen_  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KatM272 I highly recommend eating home-cooked organic whole foods, this will set you up for success in the future and help you avoid flares all together. I occasionally eat out for special occasions or if I’m in a bind - but I don’t make it a habit. Yes, healing Crohn’s is more than diet (it includes managing stress, nervous system regulation, healthy mindset, etc.). However, diet absolutely impacts the digestive system and can worsen or improve your symptoms. I try to get probiotics from food such as sauerkraut, organic cottage cheese and yogurt. However, as a supplement, I love Athletic Greens. I think at this point encouraging healthy habits such as making more home-cooked meals is a great place to start. I don’t drink energy drinks and I don’t recommend them, but I do drink caffeine (only coffee and tea). Thank you so much for your support!!

      Hi Jessica! I am so so sorry to hear that about your son. I am sending healing intentions your way. I have references on my Instagram @_thehealingqueen_ for foods that helped me get through flare-ups and tend to be easy on my stomach. I also reference the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation website frequently, this page specifically ( www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/diet-and-nutrition/what-should-i-eat ). Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help!
