We can maintain same weight as it is, but weight can not be reduced, it also got carbohydrates. To reduce weight eat the food other than carbohydrates like vegetables, nuts, seeds &fruits. This is my experience. Millets alone can not reduce weight.
You don't get the benefits of millets if you do not soak it in water for at least 6 to 8 hours. Some people may face stomach problems like indigestion, tummy aches etc if the millet is not soaked for at least 6 to 8 hours prior to cooking. There is no short cut to good health.
Since I am a vegetarian so don't know about non veg.. But you can consume millets prepared in milk such as millet kheer, millet porridge with fruits etc.
Ji animal proteins nahi khana hey like milk, curd chicken, mutton any animal protein which is produce from animal because animal protein develop cholesterol which is dangerous for health

My millets are not boiling even for 30 min. Why so. So i hate this grain and difficult to chew. I got 2 kh millets and now i am feeding doves.

Always used unpolished millets,,,
