My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.
Same happened with my sister a month back we got to know she is diabetic T1D , we were in shock.. her blood sugar was 600 ,now she has 531,she is in college and we all know that college mess don't provide that diet that should a diabetic person need. She is coming home,I just want to reverse her condition,
And don't worry we will fight it its not a disease its an eating disorder.

@@habeebunnisa8432 With proper medication like metformin, diet and active lifestyle will definitely help. Take low GI foods. One trick to reduce sugar spikes when consuming carbs is before eating carbs we need to consume fats , protein and fiber rich foods and then can have complex carbohydrates. This method alone makes a big change in controlling blood sugar spikes.Also 15 to 20 minutes walk after eating controls sugar spikes really well. Hope it helps 😊

Urad dal powder can also be added while grinding
Adding onion while grinding adds taste and texture to the dosa
They are just not making dosa...this is known as chila in Rest of the north India, anyways, here she has given this receipie for people who wants to reduce their diabetes and urad daal is most of the time is acedic in nature.

Glycemic index of jower 77
Both not suitable for diabetics
Kindly check before making videos for diabetes patients.
Same with ghee. Saturated fats and lot of calories.
moong and oats are high carb. SUgar spikes occur when you injest high carb/sugary foods.

Carbohydrate content of millet is not much different from that of rice.
S...u r right..but one thing since millets have low glycemic index, they will releaseglucose slowly, thereby keep the sugar level balanced
You can add some sooji rava for good texture in the jawar flour dosa
If you want to add gluten, you can add sooji

Before heating the tawa. Sprinkle water n then place it on the stove. Never sprikle water on the hot tawa. Ok.

All the recipes are fantastic, but addition of sooji/Bombay rawa, negates the very idea of a diabetic diet. Sooji has a very high glycemic index, and increases the blood glucose level.

Yes it depends on how each person s body reacts to a particular food..have to check and find out which is suitable for our body and proceed...I don't even need to check after eating any food that spikes my blood sugar I feel tired n slepy
