I feel like the remake didn't have as much of an impact as the original did, you can just hear the pain/desperation in Yukari's voice. The way they did Mitsuru in the remake was good with her extra dialogue, but I just prefer the original sisterhood Yukari and Mitsuru has here.
reload sounded like she just couldn't accept losing a friend fes sounded like she actually loved him, and couldn't handle losing him so soon. cause she lost her dad, then always kept to herself since then, so having minato around probably made her not feel lonely anymore. but when he died so soon, her old feelings probably came rushing in like a truck its kinda like she's had it with losing people she loves (she's the lovers arcana after all) so ofc shed be desperate, and would want him back even if it means wiping the whole world out
@@crucible1084 FES also shown her becoming like her mom who jump from one boyfriend to another after her husband died. Yukari unintentionally follow her footstep.
I hope if this scene reappears again in reload, I hope they don’t change a thing, just in script that is, I want this scene to look as heart wrenching as the original scene sounds. Even for the ps2 her breaking down on the floor I’d like to imagine she’s grasping onto the key as she falls to her knees losing her grip of the key , and you can see the pain in that breakdown. So people might not hate the most human and real character in this series.
I was actually jealous with Aigis being the protagonist and not Yukari. I understood why it has to be Aigis, but I sorta wish there was an alternate take.
Aigis was the one who put Ryoji in minato so she probably was trusted by minato for her to protect yukari and their friends though I am disappointed that the personas didn’t refused to attack yukari but instead help her as minato last wish to the personas was to protect yukari no matter the cost
People hating Yukari because she's want to see someone she's love again 😐. Listen man, I will act the same too if I have a chance to see someone I love again. My egoistic will rise to the top.
She first opened up to Makoto in the hospital, went to the love hotel with him in a dream (because of a shadow), scolded Makoto for being so reckless and telling junpei how worried she is for Makoto in the movies, was surprised when Makoto went looking for her at the yakushima beach, got flustered when Makoto gave her a hug, got a little jealous because of what aigis was saying to Makoto in her first day of school, cried out to Makoto in the final battle with nyx. She really really loved him for sure
I guess she moved on from him and accepted his death like minato did with his parents and wanted him and die with him thanks to the video Fuuka Gave she realized her dad was a hero that sacrificed his life to save others by telling them what to do and now minato has done what he did Also kinda disappointed minato didn’t get mad at yukari or Mitsuru for their parents and their company who basically were the reason why his parents are dead wish we got more development their
I mean all they had to do was use the power of friendship and beat nyx and minato lives and stays with yukari despite the multiple relationships he has been with
8:51 This part was so sad and emotional for Yukari. I mean you can’t blame her for wanting to see someone saved her and help change her life after losing her father. So I don’t care what others say, I still love Yukari
Can I just say, why the heck are people hating on Yukari for her irrational but understandable obsession with seeing Minato again, when everyone ignores Yosuke's irrational and not-as-understandable desire to MURDER someone later in P4?! Both can result in massive reprecussions, like the end of the world, but which sounds better, being an idiot out of grief, or hatred?
Some Asian well yosuke was only aware his actions would kill one person, yukari's actions had the possibility of killing everyone and that's something she should have been aware of, plus she was willing to hurt her freinds to do it unlike yosuke who really didn't try to hurt anyone else than the one guy.
If im cotrect hour taking about when the little girl "died" in P4 everyone was fond of her so it was anger at killing the one that killed a child. Yukari just wants Minato's D not carrying about the whole world that he saved
Some Asian dude I understand her wanting to see Makoto again but she didn’t think this through, going back to ‘save’ Makoto causes everyone to die including him so no matter what he was gonna die either way. For Yosuke his best friends sister ‘died’ in front of him and he was fond of her just like the rest of P4, and may I add if you didn’t complete his social like before that time he was sill getting over saki konisi’s death so him seeing Nanko die probably triggered of how he lost Saki Again before anyone jumps me saying ‘dumbass it’s been months since he lost Dali he’s gotten over it by now’ I said IF you didn’t complete his social link
@@HealthymemesExe Exactly. I don’t think this person payed attention to Aigis’ entire character. Aigis was more close to Makoto. Even Yukari said that Aigis cared for Makoto the most when you beat her.
i remembered being sad over this scene years ago (hell this is what got me to love yukari lol) so as i was talking about this scene to my friend (who's not into persona) and showing this video to them, i didnt expect to be bawling at yukari's "i want to see him" 😭
Everyone in P3 lost someone important, Mitsuru lost her father, Ken lost his mother, Akihiko lost his sister and Shinjiro, Junpei lost chidori, and Aigiz lost minato who was also her closest friend. Everone was effected by minato death as they too have already lost someone they love, considering minato is their rock too. Though I understand yukari anger and coldness to everyone, wish Yukari could have see how everyone is struggling with loss too instead of lashing out expecially to aigis. i remember back in my highschool, one of our clique passed away and our group was really effected but everyone dealt the grief differently. It IS DIFFICULT, havent move on yet. I do understand yukari's action, how she feels minato understands her the most, but I do understand why alot of people was abit annoyed. Persona 3 really hits you emotionally
Before this part, I assumed Mitsuru was following Yukari half because friendship, but mostly to try and save her dad. I feel like this would've fit her character more, for some reason. I get what they were trying to do with her position (also conviniently allows SEES to be paired up), but I really do feel like it would be more fitting for Mitsuru to try and help Yukari _before_ they all fought each other. Of course that's just my idea of the characters, but Mitsuru doesn't seem like the type to go going along with extremely stupid desisions like she does.
Yukari and Makoto's relationship is just like Sun Shang Xiang and Sun Ce as very close like Yukari is Makoto's girlfriend and Sun Shang Xiang is Ce's little sister.
For everyone that is saying The Answer ruined Yukari and is highly unrealistic, may I interest you in Tought Bubble’s video on Yukari? Someone that actually studied psychology explains why this is super in character and realistic.
Now that you mention it, The Answer could be a great Part 5 of the P3 movie series. Between Aigis and Yukari dealing with grief, The Answer could be a very emotional movie.
Because the director or writer had favoritism toward aigis and made minato and yukari interactions like friendship instead of a loving bond which I am still mad about in the movie and now that the answer was the last one they didn’t want to even explain why their version yukari became mean and in love with minato when they acted like friends the entire time and I’m still mad we never got the small interactions with Yuko and the sports club or minato joining the council and helping chirio and playing with that little girl and going to the club meeting the monk or visit the old couple in the bookstore and that sick boy I really wish they did a anime series instead of the movie rushing the story
I mean my dude literally saved her life on multiple occasions and even saved the world at that. I don't think that's someone you can easily forget. Even if Yukari found a new love, she will always be thankful to Makoto.
In persona 4 arena yukari mention him indirect multiple time such as remembering remembering Thanatos and some of yukari battle quote are directed from his loss from makoto
To Yukari, I have to the words of a Wise and positive thinking reporter: "I know now something far worse than being forgotten...It is chaining others down...please forget about me. You can all change your life by believing in yourself and make your dreams a reality. Stay Positive" The memories about Minato/Makoto became a burden for his teammates, which is far worse than anything Nyx had done to him. It's better being forgotten than burdening others with a legacy that leaves wounds and pain behind.
That's like saying they should have killed Ryoji and forget everything about the dark hour and their growth which goes against P3's themes in the first place. P2 is a completely different context,it's quotes don't mesh with P3

Yukari: "I barely even feel a thing!"
Also Yukari: (Cries in died in 2 turn)
1:35 to 1:43 seems like a pretty good summary of Persona 3.
“What’s the matter!? Is that all you’ve got!?”
Girl, you just lost half of your health in only 2 turns AND got paralyzed
And the “I barely even feel a thing!” is pretty literal lol
I feel like the remake didn't have as much of an impact as the original did, you can just hear the pain/desperation in Yukari's voice. The way they did Mitsuru in the remake was good with her extra dialogue, but I just prefer the original sisterhood Yukari and Mitsuru has here.
reload sounded like she just couldn't accept losing a friend
fes sounded like she actually loved him, and couldn't handle losing him so soon.
cause she lost her dad, then always kept to herself since then, so having minato around probably made her not feel lonely anymore.
but when he died so soon, her old feelings probably came rushing in like a truck
its kinda like she's had it with losing people she loves (she's the lovers arcana after all)
so ofc shed be desperate, and would want him back even if it means wiping the whole world out
@@crucible1084 FES also shown her becoming like her mom who jump from one boyfriend to another after her husband died. Yukari unintentionally follow her footstep.

And now,
Yukari
Me too 😢😢😢
Espacially ken too because *Shinjiro* who protect him
Well all she needs is a hug from makoto
Mitsuru may not actually agree with Yukari but she made a promise to stand by her just as Yukari did in her darkest moment when her father died.
Mitsuru is an absolute QUEEN for this. The ultimate Wing Woman.
3:58 the battle its more emotional when they said "Isis" and "Artemisia" in the same turn
Persona 3. The most depressing installment in the series.
I was actually jealous with Aigis being the protagonist and not Yukari. I understood why it has to be Aigis, but I sorta wish there was an alternate take.
Yeah. If only the version where Yukari was with Makoto when he died in portable was cannon, maybe things could have turned out differently slightly.
the FeMC route in portable was originally gonna be the Yukari route instead, really playing into the "sides of a story" idea
On ng+ in portable you can spend time at the end if you maxed out the link with Yukari, Mitsuru or Fuuka 😀👍
Aigis was the one who put Ryoji in minato so she probably was trusted by minato for her to protect yukari and their friends though I am disappointed that the personas didn’t refused to attack yukari but instead help her as minato last wish to the personas was to protect yukari no matter the cost
Fun fact Atlus confirmed all social links are cannon
Kind of give this dlc a little more context

The part where she breaks down confirms that she loved him (MC) from the beginning
@@theadmiral4157There's a few extra episodes in Reload where she becomes determined to cook him a delicious meal.

I don’t care what anyone says, Yukari was the heart of The Answer.
Nikkolas Karvalho yeah, cept Yosuke didn't go through as much childhood trauma as Yukari did.
If im cotrect hour taking about when the little girl "died" in P4 everyone was fond of her so it was anger at killing the one that killed a child. Yukari just wants Minato's D not carrying about the whole world that he saved
Neva Lavalley first re edit your comment and I may take you seriously.
Some Asian dude I understand her wanting to see Makoto again but she didn’t think this through, going back to ‘save’ Makoto causes everyone to die including him so no matter what he was gonna die either way.
For Yosuke his best friends sister ‘died’ in front of him and he was fond of her just like the rest of P4, and may I add if you didn’t complete his social like before that time he was sill getting over saki konisi’s death so him seeing Nanko die probably triggered of how he lost Saki
Again before anyone jumps me saying ‘dumbass it’s been months since he lost Dali he’s gotten over it by now’
I said IF you didn’t complete his social link
Only played the remake which I think gameplay wise is better, but definitely felt Yukari's breakdown more here than the remake.

@@HealthymemesExe Exactly. I don’t think this person payed attention to Aigis’ entire character. Aigis was more close to Makoto. Even Yukari said that Aigis cared for Makoto the most when you beat her.
This is actually lampshades by Yukari herself in The Answer.

>is that all you’ve got?
How can people hate Yukari after this I just don’t get she is the most human character ever.
I agree. The sad truth is that not everyone deals with loss rationally.
11:19. ...I mean you also get the power to summon Satan and stuff so...
i remembered being sad over this scene years ago (hell this is what got me to love yukari lol) so as i was talking about this scene to my friend (who's not into persona) and showing this video to them, i didnt expect to be bawling at yukari's "i want to see him" 😭
Everyone in P3 lost someone important, Mitsuru lost her father, Ken lost his mother, Akihiko lost his sister and Shinjiro, Junpei lost chidori, and Aigiz lost minato who was also her closest friend.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Everyone except fuuka. She didn't lose her parents and her closest friend
There is no cannon girlfriend in P3, but it is cannon that Yukari truly loved Makoto.
For everyone that is saying The Answer ruined Yukari and is highly unrealistic, may I interest you in Tought Bubble’s video on Yukari? Someone that actually studied psychology explains why this is super in character and realistic.
Or just having to lose someone suddenly by any circumstances and have to pick up the pieces afterwards. I know I have been in Yukari's shoes myself.
Im a few years late i love mitsuru but seeing her suffer makes me sad but it is the only way to get the true key dang only if i could play fes
Why we don't have a movie about the answer? Atlus Why?
3:02 Did they have to use Heartful Cry as boss battle theme? :'(
Yes they had to do it
Yes.
That's why this battle exists in the first place.
Heartful cry was made for this battle
At Least yukari didn't say I'll show my true power
I wonder if yukari still has makoto in her memories after becoming the pink featherman and going to showbiz part time
I mean my dude literally saved her life on multiple occasions and even saved the world at that. I don't think that's someone you can easily forget. Even if Yukari found a new love, she will always be thankful to Makoto.
In persona 4 arena yukari mention him indirect multiple time such as remembering remembering Thanatos and some of yukari battle quote are directed from his loss from makoto

Same thing with Yukari “I wOn’T mIsS” Takeba.
To Yukari, I have to the words of a Wise and positive thinking reporter:
"I know now something far worse than being forgotten...It is chaining others down...please forget about me. You can all change your life by believing in yourself and make your dreams a reality. Stay Positive"
The memories about Minato/Makoto became a burden for his teammates, which is far worse than anything Nyx had done to him.

The graphics is so pretty. I wonder what hardware is used and the emulator settings.
Did you get any huge space between words/text? I been trying to solve this issue and have similar settings as you.
ABL138 That's the Font problem. You have to go inside the .pnach and put // in front all the ''//Font fix by nemesis2000 (causes spacing errors)'' and below.
That should fix it.
BuffMaister Thank you that solved my problem. I dont see the point of this "fix" I wonder if it causes any negative effects when turned off.
ABL138 The game isn't suppose to support wide screen as it only works on the emulator. That's why it breaks some parts of the dialogue because of that, and it can be recorrected with that font fix. It should also fix some portraits as characters/persona's.
And now the remake has proven it's uselessness. Toning down this scene also really highlights that the new cast just doesn't cut it.
yep, had to come back to this because the new one didnt have much impact
i hoped shed get angry and try to take it away from aigis but she didnt
seemed more like she loved him more as a friend in reload, but loved him as a woman in 3fes. which is why the OG hits that much harder, she sounded so desperate, so angry and so jealous in p3f so it makes it that much more sadder.
since she lost her dad, it was even that much harder to let go of a new person she loved so much, already so damn soon. so it makes sense why shed act so immaturely in p3f instead of her just bottling things up like she did in reload
true that, p3r's aigis dlc just don't have that impact p3 fes has. they basically, in my opinion, made p3r dlc like a watered down version of p3 fes.
