The fact that Junpei never had any intention of kill Aigis unlike others and only is trying to test her resolve only cemented him once more like one the best characters development in the series

it's not intelligence its rationality In this part of the game Yukari is being irrational because she doesn't know the circumstances of why Protag died, Mitsuru is following Yukari because Yukari was supporting her after her father died, and to a point, Akihiko and Ken are being just as rational as Junpei but Akihiko (he is my favorite)he is just was being kinda insensitive.
Sorry for the late message, but at the end of the game, Junpei achieves better grade (above the average of the class) after all the events of Chidori and else. A proof of his growth.
i mean yeah, also a fun fact, in alternate route a.k.a phem see route, junpei will have a motivation to learn and asked you to teach him at social link lv8

I just finished my first play through of the Journey. I knew his magic stat was okay so I gave Junpei the Laevateinn, (Surt’s fusion weapon). He ended up being great on my team, being the main physical attacker (Akihiko was more on Ziodyne and debuffs) and Fire, along with Aki and Mitsuru for other purposes. If you don’t want him to kill himself, put him on heal/support so he uses a marakukaja, and then on standby.

And it wouldn't help that Minako played such a big role in helping Akihiko move past Miki's death. The only super close friend he would have left after all that would be Mitsuru. And since she was going to help Yukari regardless, she wouldn't be able to talk Akihiko down from fighting . Maybe Ken could talk him down, but by then you may as well have Ken-Junpei-Aigis-Metis-Koro vs Akihiko-Yukari-Mitsuru-Fuka.
i genuinely do think junpei and koro could've won this 'tourney' of sorts and beat yukari and mitsuru , you can tell junpei is messed up over makoto but he knows he's gotta be strong for his friends and that allows him to be a better state of mind

And while yes his persona is strong, Aigis can literally wield some of the most powerful gods in their respective story’s(?). He can heal himself with his new power after ******* died, but not really enough to stop Megidolian from killing him.

Also, it doesn't change that Aigis can wield creatures as powerful as God. He can heal himself, but he can't bring himself back I don't think. He couldn't in the Answer anyways. If I start a new game plus without character level, can I keep Pierce attacks or will I be forced to throw them away?
