- Yukari Takeba of the Lovers arcana is one of the most overlooked and underrated characters in Persona (in my opinion.) She went through a huge character arc that has a lot of depth and charm to it, and once it's all brought to the limelight, it really stands out, which is what this video strives to do.

"Persona 3 Reload is a 2024 role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus. Reload is a remake of Persona 3 (2006), the fourth main installment of the Persona series, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. Yukari in the answer feels so realistic and it showed you how much she cared and what most people’s reactions would be to a grave lost
Exactly I’m glad people are starting to warm up to her character in the answer more over time because the amount of hate she got was insane.
She was hated for being too human. Its really stupid, since most likely, everyone would react in the exact same way. Who the hell doesn't long to see those they've lost again?
Not to mention, if you look at the 5 stages of grief, she started the answer, still in denial. The answer is probably like one day's worth of time span IIRC. Going through all those stages in the span of a day, OVER A CLOSE PERSON WHO DIED, is really hard to do.
Yukari is a character I can't help but love and feel sorrow for when she's down. She parallels my own Mom in so many ways which really makes me feel the realism in her writing. Experiencing her relationship with the protag as a fighting duo is my #1 highlight when I do playthroughs of P3 because it's so beautiful, complex, and tragic. I can understand how some people can hate her character I guess but I will never ever empathize with them.

Yukari never once left my party in reload, portable, or FES. She was too good and having her benched felt like a crime. Her relationship with her mom is something I’ve seen a lot, not myself, but with close friends, so just like you I can feel that realism. I don’t really get the hate for her at all personally I can’t really understand it, but that’s just me of course. Thank you for your comment!

In order to truly romance someone, they need to see all of their sides and see if you can fit that bill. Yukari is truly one of them, and it seems she gets all the hate because of her "bad" side, when only, it's her being human with flaws.
i actually think her deciding to be featherman Pink in P4AU was her way to keep her promise to change the world and combat despair and give up on life.
and the real neat thing is that futaba from p5 who has suicidal depression, anxiety and social anxiety, really like featherman and probably looks up to yukari.
so yukari in a way helped futaba keep going until she met with the p5 gang,and in a way help save the world again in p5.

Yup for sure she kept her word and did her part in keeping the fall from happening by becoming a featherman. It reminds me of how Akinari’s book ended up getting published and Nanako got to read it in Persona 4. It’s cool how everything is interconnected. I would like to go over ultimax and visit how every is after I finish the rest of S.E.E.S because it does introduce a lot of cool things like I mentioned in the intro.

To be fair she was forced to by her manager but when she did join she realized that it was worth while doing it to inspire children
I can't imagine what Yukari felt when Makoto died, probably desperately trying to wake him up and thinking the whole thing is just a nightmare. She lost everyone close to her, and is barely turning around with her mother. So when she finally learn to love someone that is relateable by opening up to Makoto to expose her vulnerable side, it must have hurt to find out that she again lost someone dear to her that she completely shuts down.
100%. She went through way more pain than anyone should ever have to, especially at her age, so she was justified in a lot of the things she did and said.
She had lost her loved father and now that she is open again she lost the most important man in her live once agains and without being able to tell him a thing. Portable at the final with Yukari she mention that they were more than a couple and is pretty mad she forgot how important is him to her, but at the answer we didn't had that since Aigis was the one who found him before they recover their memories so she couldn't talk with him, she just remembered everything just to find he had died.
Yukari feels like the second main character for the most of the game i dont know if this is true but it seems she has the most screen time out of any of the characters and also besides the MC she forms the most connections with other characters in the game and she pushes the plot forward a lot of the times i can't think of another persona character who's like her
I feel pretty much the same way. Besides the MC Yukari and Aigis were the most fleshed out ones, but just in terms of The Journey aspect she definitely formed more close connections with people and had a hell of a lot of screen time.
In the original game art book she was drawn together with the protagonist, back to back, they had so much stories and she was made to complement her, they also said they wer e looking to make her realistic so is not hard to say you are right that she was like the second maind character even from concept to the story too.
Yukari is my favorite Lovers arcarna so far, with the Answer actually helping in me liking her more instead of less. Though I'm not as fond of the movie adaption (its for multiple reasons aside from this and I do like like it just to a lesser extent but I digress) which seems to purposely lessen her bond with Makoto for the sake of pushing Aigis. Speaking of the movie adaption, while it was mostly focused on the adaptation's portrayal instead of the more balanced take here, I want to thank you for doing a video on Makoto. He rarely gets talked about at all in a analytical sense.
The movies definitely focus more on Makoto and Aigis’ relationship, which of course is gonna be a somewhat divisive choice so I understand if that in part lessens your fondness of it. Definetly agree, she is the best lovers arcana. I didn't really like Ann that much, and hell, Rise to me was just wayyy too down bad for you, even if didn't do her social link (i just generally don't like the idol trope). Yukari felt the most realistic (not to say the others aren't but many wouldn't be able to relate to Rise and being an idol, but Ann is also quite realistic). Her dynamic with people always felt like a real person, and hell, she is definetly over hated for how she is in the answer, because who the hell wouldn't be like that if your close friend/boyfriend (depeding on social link status) died.
When I was first introduced to Yukari in FES my expectations were minimal and thought she'd end up a generic heroine. But as the story progressed I became so drawn to her and this realistic feeling I got from her. After 5 years, I finally played RELOAD and went into it thinking id romance someone else or just not worry much about romancing anyone at all. But upon the initial part of the story where you're frequently interacting with Yukari, all the reasons why I fell in love with her character came rushing back in. Her design, her voice, and her social link were done soooooo well in RELOAD. My ass romanced her again without even thinking about it any further.
It wasn't just her development but her flaws and immature/rash reactions to situations that made her feel so real. Seeing her grow and your actions impacting how she is near the end game was such a beautiful sight to see. And this video kinda explains much of how I feel. Great stuff. I hope to see more!!

Btw, at Persona 3 Portable you can have the final scene with Yukari on NG+, she talks about how important is the protagonist for her, that they were more than just boyfriend and girlfriend, she felt horrible for having forgot that. This mean much more on answer when you realize she not only lost her father without a word, but at this time line with them remembering the dark hour only after protagonist dies mean she couldn't talk to him before he pass away and only Aigis could mean is way more reasonable her decision in the answer, she wanted to at least talk to him once again and say the things she didn't say. The answer also make it cannon than Yukari loved him and so they prolly were really a couple her.
At P4 Arena, if Yukari lose agains her shadows, the shadows mention how she is still empty inside meaning she still miss the protagonist and is still forcing herself a little to keep going, she also show how still think and can get jelouse if she fight Elizabeth who use Tanathos.
not sure why you claim that only in new game+ on p3 portable that we get to see yukari's ending with makoto apparently you never played p3FES if did you would get that ending as well. also you would get mitsuru's, and fuuka's endings with him not just the aigis which was ONLY on the original p3. that's why we keep getting that one on p3R.
The P3RE dlc will be my first experience with The Answer, and what I’m excited for most, is Yukari, her VA made her grieving sound so genuine and I hope it will be just as good in the new version of The Answer.

I wanna say thank you for coming up with this in-depth analysis of Yukari. She's one of the most well-written character in the franchise and sadly a lot of people didn't got that at first, though she's gained more recognition recently.
The way she behaves in The Answer may be wrong but totally understandable. It hits even harder if Yukari has been romance (either way, she stills harbors romantic feelings towards Makoto), and that makes their story even more tragic, yet beautiful.
And I want to say thank you for watching and supporting! Reload has put Yukari into a much more positive limelight I’ve noticed, which is great to see. I am so intrigued to see how people react to her character in the answer today once the remake comes out.

One thing that always stood out to me about Yukari (and Junpei) is how well written and realistic they are. Their interactions almost don't feel like a script or anything like generic sentences you'd find in a game. It feels so real in how they are, react, and talk. Especially their actions in the answer. Junpei's grieving is really realistic, as he keeps his smile, but you can definetly sense a sadness he's hiding. Yukari is definetly understandable too. ESPECIALLY that moment where she even tries to take the complete key, only to fall to the ground after hearing only Aigis could use it now. Who wouldn't jump at a chance to see their loved one again?
@@w1nther930 Bro 100% agreed, Junpei and Yukari are some of the most well-written Persona characters ever. I mean, I liked Ryuji in Persona 5, but Junpei is next-level IMO and really relatable too.
And as for Yukari, she's really well-written and realistic too. I especially like how they made her character in Reload compared to the original though, they made her more approachable which is more in line with how the original Japanese script was. In the original English translation for P3, they made her way more sassy than she was supposed to be, which was kinda funny but it also kinda rubbed some ppl the wrong way ig.
I haven't played the Answer for myself yet (waiting for Episode Aigis in September), but from what I've heard about it so far, can I just say that I love the direction it appears they took Yukari in? That's a hot take, I know, but I'm glad they actually made an expansion focusing on SEES grieving with Makoto's loss, and how they also covered just how hard his death impacted Yukari in particular. Games typically do not have stories focusing on ppl coping with the loss of a loved one, especially not in a romantic context (assuming Yukari did love Makoto, which I personally think she did lol). So to see Atlus actually go that far and cover those sorts of themes is really nice. A lot of the stuff ppl trash Yukari for, especially in the Answer it seems, is her character being realistically portrayed. Ppl are not perfect, they are not gonna make all the fine and dandy decisions after going through tragedy. So to see a character like Yukari portrayed like that was a great idea IMO.

If there's one thing most people suck at doing, it's taking a step back & looking at things from different PoVs & contexts
You know, in The Answer, I think Yukari's desire to see Makoto again will make much more sense in Reload if Makoto and Yukari were a couple, and her wish was out of grief of losing the boy she loved.
Yeah, that's why romancing Yukari in Reload feels like the canon route
It's heavily implied that they were either dating or that Yukari *probably* had romantic feelings for him regardless just because of how the narrative is told, which is why she's jealous of Aigis for also loving him the way she does
@@YandereGogetaWell, I like to think that in terms of canon, Aigis wanted to be with Makoto to atone for what she did to him, the whole sealing Death inside him. Canon wise, Yukari is Makoto's girlfriend and she misses him more than anything when he dies. That's why she wants to undo his sacrifice, just to be with him again.
I think the thing about her mother wasn't really about the mother lean on men or not being independant, but trying to forget her father, being unfaitful to him and weak. That's why at rank 5 in the original game, the game tells you she doesn't mean what she say about not needing you agains the punks and why at rank 6 she tells you she was actually glad when he came to save here. She got mad at rank 5 in reality because protagonist put his life in risk because here and we know she cares about him and that she lost her loved father, she also notice she was once again a burden and all this under also the fear of being surrounded by those punks and the sudden relief later. In the original P3 and Fes social link, reverse social link was just about protagonist trying to hug her at her scare weakest, not about being a woman or rely on others.
At Portable this was changed about her gender to make it more obvious answer than hug her then.
As social link grow she understand how is to love someone thanks to makoto and the pain as she started, that's why she doesn't really mind as much the marriage when her mother ask for her permision since she is sincere about her love and she understand her pain as she said in that social link and more than hate, she just is scared about end being meanfull to her mother if they talk. But as falling with love with the protagonist she accept it more and start to dream about meting her mother and her fiance, knowing everything will be ok now specially if she meet them with her boyfriend Makoto/minato at her side.

Lovers arcana is so good overall, but Yukari is my favorite for sure.

I'll be straight. Persona 3 Reload was my first Persona game because it was the one with the cute robot girl. However, by the end of the game it was Yukari, and not Aigis, who ended up being my favorite character in the game by far.
Having not played The Answer yet, I think her regression makes even more sense if you end up romancing her like I did. As someone who keeps people at arm's length, she kind of took a risk by opening up so much to Makoto. I think losing him would only reinforce why that was a mistake in her mind. I also ended up saving Chidori by complete accident, so I'm sure there's some bitterness there as well. "You got Chidori back; why are you snapping at me for wanting him back?'' (And I'll be curious to see if they add any extra dialogue addressing that in September.) Heck, if you were overpowered enough for the final confrontation, Junpei's fears about losing might seem completely irrational. Frankly, it's a miracle the girl didn't end up going full Ikutsuki.
I'm not sure if "actress" is the first career trajectory I'd imagine for her, but I'm glad she's doing well by Persona 5.
It's interesting to hear the perspective of people who haven't played the answer but know the general plot points. I think the main reason people are so hateful toward the answer, and by extension the story it tells, is because the gameplay in FES for the answer was very very bad, so I think that more so than the story left a bittersweet taste in people's mouths.
I agree though she took a risk opening up to Makoto, then lost her, and now that Junpei got Chidori back that definitely plays a role in how she feels toward him in that moment. It's also why Junpei in part has a bias himself even if he is definitely thinking things through more rationally than her in that moment.

Yukari is the opposite of Makoto. She's actually saying things that bother her and is more vocal than makoto yuki. Although they only have one goal. You could say Yukari is Makoto if he isnt silent and doesnt care. You can say shes the second mc of this game
That's how I feel as well. Yukari got more screen time than basically any other party member besides Makoto himself, and they reflect each other's struggles pretty well. It shows how two people can have similar fates, but how they decide to deal with it, confront it, or etc. can play into what path they take.

idk what else to say beside you once again cooked! THIS is why I love Yukari everything about her character arc makes her so damn relatable she messes up, she can get emotional, get jealous, but she always seemed to move forward despite that and it makes her so human you kinda want to root for her shes one of my favorite persona characters because of that.

It seems that you are finally going to talk about the second main heroine of Persona 3, in my case I already talked a lot about Yukari, she is the second or third best character in the SEES group, only being surpassed by Aigis and Makoto, His SL and story is about one of the messages which is to accept death and also overcome your past, His friendship with Mitsuru is very well worked and polished in Reload, his relationship with Makoto is constant in the game and feels so natural that it makes The Answer not feel forced at all, Due to the bond that both have throughout the story and his relationship with Aigis is very fun, without a doubt one of the characters that helps complete the plot and emphasize the message of the game he got together with Aigis.

I came into the franchise from ultimax, I didn't know anything about these characters and knew about makoto's death but not the context if it or any other character
Before playing p3 fes I came into the game knowing people didn't like yukari as well as her in the answer, i played the journey and watched the answers story on TH-cam and i legit was like...... that's it? Thats what yall were mad at? Like i get feeling some form of aggression towards her for some stuff but i thought just like me people would've seen that underneath that was a genuinely loving, caring and troubled person who's positives and human personality and reactions to the stressful situations around her outweigh......uh.....her slapping ryoji for slapstick or sarcastic jabs at junpei, legit i just got into an argument with a TH-camr that was so unbelievably petty and focused on the love hotel slap which she apologizes for if you talk to her and the ryoji one
And another who got so fed up with her confronting mitsuru about the making of Tartarus that they were genuinely heartless and unpleasant during the beach scene and it infuriates me how theres little to ZERO empathy for this character because of a few moments that are a fraction of who she is and BOY the answer, omg the answer, just like yukari herself i went into the answer thinking it was this terrible piece of crap story and was surprised at how it wasn't, this character is so goddamn misunderstood and overhated man
Yeah I've always found the hate for her very bizarre, but I think part of it is that a lot of Persona fans are young, so maybe they just straight up couldn't see where she was coming from emotionally. That's probably why overtime I've noticed a positive opinion on her character arc, especially through The Answer.
Also, someone focused on the hotel slap as a point against her? That's a bit bizarre cause that was fairly valid in my opinion, especially since she did apologize afterward. It may not have been his fault that the whole thing happened but in the heat of the moment like that I don't think it's too unusual for her to have done that. Using her frustration and confrontation against Mitsuru and S.E.E.S. is uh, just weird to be honest. I didn't even think that could be a debate that's just a completely valid take from Yukari in that moment.

Thank you for the video! Yukari isn't my favourite character in P3, but I like how realistic she is as a character, especially with her arc in the Answer (and the hate she gets over that is really undeserved). Although she doesn't get as much focus in the movies, I still really like how she's shown in the first movie, where she's harsh towards Makoto because of his seeming lack of care for himself, but it all comes from her concern over him. It always felt like a bit of an inconsistent "but thou must" moment in the game to me when Yukari was okay (even encouraging) Makoto to join SEES, but was so concerned over Fuuka being asked to join SEES later on. So I'm glad you touched on that part of the movies in your video!
I really agree with you on what you said regarding Yukari in the Answer. She's abrasive and jealous and wanted to do something that could doom the world by bringing Nyx back, but the whole point is that she's a hurt girl dealing with grief that she hasn't fully processed and she's clouded by her emotions. People might not like her character in the Answer, but that doesn't make her a bad character.

Thank you so much for the support! I'm glad you enjoyed how I used the movies cause I wanted to make a more balanced take on the events of the movies and the games to make her character arc more impactful, and I'm glad to see some approval on that front. I learned from my Makoto and Aigis videos and really wanted to try and do Yukari some justice.
I'm also glad you can see where I'm coming from in regard to the answer. I've said this in a few other comments, but I've noticed over time a shift in the perspective people have of Yukari and The Answer to be a more positive and favorable one. I think this is just maturity over time since a lot of Persona fans tend to be on the younger side, which there's nothing wrong with that, but maybe they just couldn't understand where she was coming from emotionally.

I think the only difference between the two members joining and her reaction to it is the people themselves. Fuuka and Makoto.
When Makoto first joined, he immediately became more experienced than Yukari from just being able to awaken his Persona.
He was able to adapt to the Dark Hour situation well and not to mention he saved her life during their first encounter with a Shadow.
It felt like she could rely on him in battle because of that. And before Makoto could officially join SEES, she had a whole week to mull over Makoto's circumstances while he was still in a coma.
Fuuka on the other hand, joined right after the exhausting ordeal of having been bullied and being locked in Tartarus for a whole ten days. In Yukari's eyes, Fuuka probably looked like a fragile girl that needed to be protected.
And when it came to Fuuka making a decision for herself, it only took her a day or so and that didn't sit well with Yukari.
It's because she's made aware of just how essential Fuuka's skills are in navigating Tartarus but it's precisely because of how valuable she is that she felt like Fuuka was someone SEES would not easily give up on.
And remember during this time, Yukari was still HEAVILY suspicious of everyone in SEES especially Mitsuru, the person who was the most enthused about Fuuka joining.
Fuuka is a lot more determined than Yukari initially gave her credit for but because of her seemingly timid personality, Yukari thought Fuuka was being pressured and wanted to be her valid out in case Fuuka changed her mind.
Still in all fairness, it was an unnecessary kindness on Yukari's part, she was just concerned about the girl but her persistence on the matter was just a tad bit annoying.
this is great analysis, and i hope the answer remake include new possible ending for makoto to come back since the door in makoto room was locked so hope any alternate ending when the team decide to go back in time to save makoto with elizabeth
I am very doubtful that will happen since it would basically make the events of arena null and void, and also ruin a big part of Elizabeth’s character, but we will see
To me, Yukari shows that she's only a human when you get through her arcs. I understand that some people don't like it when others being emotional but they have to remember, that what makes Yukari more humane in the end.
Get this. She lashed out onto the guys because they also know how it feels to lose their loved ones. Thus, she might have expected or at least try to understand from her perspective.
I myself have lost people whom I clearly care for. Even right now, I don't know how to cope with it. My childhood friend just s****** last year and it's almost a year. I never thought she left us this soon. Sometimes I think of her smile, laugh and more. I get how Yukari wants to turn back time just to see Makoto. This is how I sometimes wonder what if I was there when she was about to do it? What could have I done? In the end, I know we have to move forward. My friend asked me if it was his fault for not trying to reach out to her and I told him it isn't our fault. When it comes to griefs, people handle it differently.
I love Yukari story because it shows she grows as time flies and she continues trying to improve herself while being true to herself. Plus, I didn't thought she would be an actress.
I hope everyone that read this message. Please be patient when it comes to deal with people who aren't in their best state. It can mess them up pretty badly but all we can do is try to be there for them and help them out. Thanks.

I think a lot of people in a similar position to Yukari would understand how she felt, and you certainly do considering the circumstances. I think, especially in Reload, Yukari is the default and expected romantic interest of the MC and they kinda assume that you would have gotten through at least Rank 3 of her Social Link before she tells about her mother to anyone else, unless I am misremembering when she tells Mitsuru versus when her Social Link first unlocks.
I will say of the cast, which I all love, except the Gourmet King who is only a tolerable person after his Social Link is done and you do not learn it directly from him, Yukari is my favorite and who I emphasized and sympathied with the most. No, I don't have deceased father or a mother jumping from guy to guy.
I think she is the only character where did not need a guide to choose the best options for her Social Link. With other characters will sometimes stare at the screen with the list of response and thinking "What on Earth am I supposed to choose?!"
It is interested despite the forced amnesia that if you romance Yukari it is heavily implied that MC and her have a strong romantic relationship that is very heartbreaking knowing what happens the next day.
It's definitely either Yukari or Aigis as the canon romance option. Maybe even both but hard to say for sure since they never really confirm that kind of thing.
This was a really good analysis of yukari,well done!! Althogh I wish you spoke about her social links with the female protagonist in portable(from here I just call her kotone)the reason I'm saying this is because of the difference with Makoto:
In the 1 social link,instead of the roof,yukari talk to kotone in a cafè,where She speak about the first time her persona awakening,her reason for doing this is because she hope that through the talks,she and kotone will become friends Who can understand each other.
In the 2 social link they go to the flourist and here,we get a bit of backstory of yukari,to put It short when her father was alive,there were Always some flowers that she could sneeze,so her buying some flowers is her way of reliving the past.
While the rest is similar to Makoto(except,instead of falling in love, yukari ask kotone some advice of getting a boyfriend)the 7 social link is the most important one,here kotone save yukari from getting hit by a car,which led kotone getting hurt,this frustrated yukari since she is tired of seeing people she cares about get hurt,she even confess that one of her worst fear is seeing kotone died in front of her and sadly, that fear becomes reality at the end of the game,which solidify her behevior in the answer.
I think It would make her more interesting from her charachter.
I would like to go over Kotone’s route in general at some point to be honest cause there’s a lot of interesting things about her links, character, and route. For the purposes of these videos I just want to focus on Makoto’s route and interactions, but I will definitely go over Kotone’s stuff at some point.

I was really hoping Persona 3 Reload had the multiply choices that determined your fate that lead to varieties of Non-canon endings.
Especially the happy ending where Makoto had alternate way to defeat Nyx without cost of his life and lives after the events of The Journey so Yukari doesn’t have to again experience grief losing someone she loved.
But I guess that only happens in Fanfictions.
It could have been interesting to see some more non-canon endings, but I'm not too upset about it since the main canon ending is the one I prefer the most. I do understand where you're coming from though for sure

Totally support her in the FES. Would do the same for her if she is the one who sacrificed. And I Bet Akihiko would choose the same option in the FeMC storyline. It is a second chance, the worst is witnessing Makoto sacrificed again, and the best is saving him. I don't see any reason to pass such opportunity. If it happens to Joker or Yuu, I don't think neither group will just "move on" without even trying.
For sure if Narukami or Joker had to sacrifice themselves there’s no chance the Investigation Team nor the Phantom Thieves wouldn’t hold some sort of regret for what happened.

TBH i romanced both mitsuru and yukari due to knowing what happened on the answer, could be a way for me to them loving makoto helping each other later on when they lose him on the promised day and it took me like 30 mins thinking if i should do that on each social link

It's hard to say for sure, but I'd say she most likely would have acted the same way. Despite being a female Kotone still helped Yukari to not isolate herself as much and reconcile her relationship with others, so she would still feel indebted to her I'm sure. In Portable Kotone saves her from getting hit by a car, and Yukari says she doesn't want to lose someone she cares about. For that reason I think it's safe to say she definitely would've wanted to go back and save her just like she wanted to do for Makoto.

Before I played this game, my friends told me that she was the worst person in the game. I like to keep an open mind so I didn't jump to any conclusions. During the first part, however, the way she acted towards Mitsuru was very annoying to me. Though, throughout the course of the game she really stood out to me as a character in fiction that honestly I relate the most to. My friends are Junpei lovers so I guess I could sort of understand how they might hate Takeba, however most of what she says is in a playful, joking manner. Things I often say to my friends as well. I also used to dislike Junpei at the beginning of the game, however when he started to get involved with Chidori I changed my opinion on him.
A lot of the characters at the start of the narrative can be a bit dis-likable, and I had some negative feelings toward Yukari and Junpei myself when I first played Persona 3 FES, but after beating it I loved them more than basically any other member of the team (besides Fuuka my beloved), so I get how you feel. I think Yukari is super overhated, but thankfully people have come to warm up to her as time has progressed, and I'm really looking forward to how people feel about her character in The Answer remake

Yukari was a meh character for me at first, now she is in my top four characters in SEES.
That’s how I was as well. I preferred characters like Junpei and Aigis but I came to really appreciate her and the journey she went through as a character.

First of i want to ask something to you can you explain to me in your aigis video you already explain the connection between paladion and Athena but i still cant understand the connection between them by Lore and i mean real myth because the only connection between them in myth is they are best friend and fast forward Zeus try to kill her by creating incident when they spar together and Athena end up kill her and to honor her Athena name her Shield by her name and Athena is not know as protector deity except the city of Athens i already watch your aigis video more than Ten Time and still doesn't understand it
On the other side i must say after watching this video it's remind me about my experience the first time play persona 3 so the first time i play the game i get the grasp of Makoto personality as a person who don't understand human emotion because of pharos and my reaction to her conversation with mitsuru in Kyoto using Makoto perspective was " wierd why doesn't she feel happy even for a second because finally they are in the same position" and that scene actually make the character building in the game became so good kinda sad people start to hate her and calling her bitch after the answer it's just sad in my opinion and people start calling answer trash as for me i like to consider my self Neutral in that regard curious about your opinion though and even after seeing this video for the third time i still enjoy it wow you are quite good man keep up the good work

There really isn't too much more of a connection in the actual mythology between Athena and Palladion other than the fact that Palladion was a statue created and said to have great power to protect the cities it was in. It was made as a sort of embodiment of Athena and what she represented. That's at least my understanding of it, anyway.
It is quite unfortunate how people see Yukari and The Answer, but overtime the narrative for her and the story has become more positive, and I think once the remake of The Answer releases people will warm up to it even more. Thank you for the support!
Quick question: why didn’t Yukari or Akihiko use a healing spell to heal Shinjiro?
I think their Personas can only heal damages afflicted by Shadows but there's probably nothing they could do with a shot injury from a real gun, especially since Shinjiro was also already in critical condition the moment they arrived.

My god Ken and Koromaru and the biggest winners of this remake and Akihiko probably the biggest loser.
Ken and Koro are very broken but I think Akihiko is slept on. He’s the best damage dealer besides the protagonist easily, and his defense + accuracy/evasion is higher than most as well
