I love that cutscene, what really sells it is how they animated it and how the characters were shocked, just look at Junpei at 4:21, really wish they remade the game with the new models and new animations, this whole thing would be just amazing

I've always wanted him to come back as a playable character, if only because I want to see Messiah wreck some shit. We've already gotten Thanatos in the movies and with Elizabeth, but Messiah hasn't gotten the chance to do anything cool.
I don't hate Ken at all, but I'm very sorry I have to be honest here. I can take it seriously whenever I see Ken get hit by that table. I just laugh every time I see this scene.

I believe it's to do with the Plume of Darkness inside of Aegis. Aegis obtaining the wild card represents her awakening her...power beyond, a deeper awareness of self and her humanity (while fearing that the end of journey is, inevitably, death). Athena is her awakened self from the past, but now with her remorse over the lost of Makoto/Minato (and her wish to repress those emotions), Metis has manifested from "the other side" (where only shadows and beings that are not human exist). Metis is her wish to not move forward, and to distancd herself from her humanity, but that would not prevent her from using her persona because of the plume of darkness. Also, "Shadow" Makoto/Minato and his ability to use the personas of SEES. Since the Persona and the Shadow are one in the same, yet they coexist with the self, then it can also exist as separate beings in the world of Persona?
