The final exam with the Porsche 917K on Spa with partly wet sections was an absolute bloody nightmare.
And I thought the their hair pin with a Honda NSX and the Toyota Supra and National a license was hard enough but at least you work hard enough to get the Red Bull x2019 competition

yesterday we were driving this thing like 3hrs with friend and i finally passed it 2:24:550 after like 100 tries. i agree this stage was insane xD most of differences came to this video was avoid turn 9 inside curb, didn´t lose rear at turn 12, didnt break at all at turn only lifted gas at turn 17 and switched gear 1 before turn 19 so u can get more power thru last 20 turn :D (turns numbers from wikipedia picture)

That Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo at the second lesson. Was the best car in GT1 i still remember it tuning it from 220hp to 930hp.

Working my way to 100% Gold (currently on S-4), the most mind changing thing I have learned from this game physics is that applying hard on the brakes in straight line (with zero steering) will decrease the braking distance by far, and will allow you to brake more late... Wherever possible I will always be looking to align the car with the turn before to be able to brake the most in straight line... This really was a game changer
Yup, and it carries over into real life as well. You always want to brake in a straight line as hard and late as possible and then ease up as you turn in

Took me forever to gold that! Ever find that you do loads of attempts just thousandths of a second off then when you do pass it you smash it?!!
I just did it on GT4 A-13, and its a fucking nightmare because the car understeers a lot more. Took me a whole 6 hours to gold it.
Don't forget A-4 of GT1.

I played every main Gran Turismo title up until and including 6. It's amazing how sloppy a run can be and still get gold now. Edit: 43:14 for example.

With an update Polyphony Digital made the time more difficoult because they changed some stuff in the game's physic....

Because of the update over a month ago. This maid it almost imposible to beat. I only need the supra and the final exam in super licesnse. I would have already have the supra gold medal if they didnt move the time😢.

loved the F1 one...got 1.06...struggled with the Lambo and they have just reduced the times for gold after update!

You gotta turn counter-steering off in the drive assist settings. It’s impossibly to get gold with it on I think.

The final test of Super License (917K on Wet Track at Spa) is not as hard as Master Super License Tests.
Did master today pretty easily, but 917k is impossible.Water is disgusting in this game.
Off topic, how do I turn the freaking music off? It's starting to annoy me. I can't even hear the sound of the engine coz' the stupid music is drowning the sound of the car? Is it bcoz, I am the initial stage of the game. Just got this game yesterday

(35:22) What was supposed to be GT4 IA License IA-16, but sadly, it's at another short location in the course.
(36:23) GT3 IA License IA-5 Remastered! But it's daytime, and the 2002 Dodge Viper GTS was red with white stripes.

Last s-10 is also became harder. More water and 2.25. for gold. Can't beat it, want to broke my ps. I hate fucking water in GT7

All the levels have a shorter time now. Like why though. It’s just annoying also last level is a nightmare kept crashing in sector 1, sector 2s ending and sector 3 chicane a true nightmare of a level
From my understanding, the Developers improved/changed the vehicle physics, making the game easier and thus they made the gold times shorter to compensate.
Why I have to get F50 at monza under 1:58:700 ? :(

@@DanLC-qm3ox just follow the ghost until you learn how to manage the curve. Is the best option and maybe turn on the brake visual assistant. You will see that you will be faster and more confident to the track!

Of course they updated the times and made it nearly impossible to get all gold now, fuck you polyphony, was mad pissed seeing different times for no reason for me..
They did it because they changed the vehicle physics as well, that made the game easier so they had to shorten the times to balance it out.

Is the difficulty of the license tests nerfed? This generation of gamers would not approve the difficulty of the license tests back then. This is why Forza Motorsport doesn't have license tests.

Is the purpose of these tests to make you a better driver? Because the tests are awful if so.
Imagine trying to learn a musical piece, but each measure you would switch instruments! You would never learn it, because each instrument plays something different, so after learning different bits on different instruments, you wouldn’t be able to then sit down at a piano and play the whole thing. You will have gained no real skill even though you managed to master each little part for each instrument.
All the National B should be the same car, then all the National A should be the same car, and so on. Make a devoted set of tests for rallying where you drive the same car throughout too. An even better way would be to let you pick a car you want to do the tests on, so you could buy it and get a feel for the cars you will use for the tests.
This would allow players to build on their skills throughout the process rather than just going balls out to beat the ghost. And by the end, they would have some mastery of driving.
If the whole purpose is to force players to grind for hours on end merely for the sake of grinding, then the tests succeed masterfully.

Way to make a game non playable. Can not be arsed with these! Thank god forza doesn't have them.
Instead of showing how good you are with all that equipment, wheel, paddles, etc show how good you are with JUST A Controller because poor people like me that's how I roll!!!
