I wonder if you needed an oil change after running the car pretty hard for the first two races. Could that explain the slow qualifying for race 3?
4:00 I was actually so close to pull of a double overtake round the outside but I couldn't get a quick exit without wheel spinning my car
And you're welcome for the battle in the last few laps, my race was going nowhere, tried the 2 stop strategy but turned out to be slower than the 1 stop, good consolation for the both of us from being bored.
how come no one uses the cockpit views in GT? dose it not allow you to adjust fov, position etc

The amount of downforce on that car is insane. I have never seen a car go that fast around this circuit.
One thing I've found that helps me alot with these races is instead of doing all my practice in the free practice I'll just do a custom race with the exact race settings and I'll start like 7th so I can feel the dirty air and such but still be p1 by end of lap 2 and then I just run laps like that and Practice the strategy

I gotta say if there’s one thing I definitely respect about Steve, is his ability to take losses with grace. As I’m absolutely terrible at losing and not getting heated.
You have a great attitude man, kept cool, calm, and collected through some very frustrating moments. You also have a tremendous amount of skill which makes it crazier to see how many people there are out there at, near, or even beyond your skill level. I mainly drift with my t300 but often try my hand at the Sport Mode time trials to get some extra cash. I can't imagine driving the way you do. Always a pleasure watching you do your thing
The threat of being sent to space any moment makes this format incredibly fun to watch lol. Great racing

I haven't driven this in GT because I don't have a PS anymore, but in iRacing this thing is an absolute beast. It's amazing how much grip it has at speed, and how much it loses as it slows down for tight corners. You really have to be on point with trail braking and throttle control, but it's so rewarding when you get it right.

I'm a bit surprised SuperGT is still below a million! My first video was the "off you go mate" one and I was hooked once I realized I had just watched 20 minutes of racing commentary, even though I've never been even a bit interested in sports at all. And in addition to that, you get to watch someone's real-life racing career unfold! What more do people want?

Steve, the reason you were so much slower on slot 3 was the wind direction. The optimal one for this race was the one you had on slot 2, you got the opposite direction on race 3. It makes A LOT of difference on laptime.
How many seconds do you reckon? I thought my overall time looked really bad lol

3:10 Amazing scenes! You were extremely unlucky to get that penalty. But then, the penalty system in GT7 ceases to amaze me. This track is the daily GR4 race, and I've been shoved off the track so many times it's unreal! And there's not even a hint of the offending driver getting a penalty. But I go a mm over the white line at turn 11 and... 0.5 second penalty 😮💨

You have different times in the qualifying because the conditions are changing.
1. 2.1ms to east (3 clock)
2. 2.8ms to northwest (10.5 clock)
3. 2.1ms to east with a bit of south (4 clock)
Every time that i see that fire in the thumbnail could it mean two things: 1) something very chaotic is going to happen. 2) lol

to optimize exit speed never up shift in a corner it just slows you down. ex: on the final hairpin you go down to 1st and then up shift twice into 3rd, never go down to 1st go to 2nd, you will be faster. p.s just full send it.
