You know what I hate? I did everything I could but I still cant make my donuts to have a white ring in the middle.. I use AP flour, instant dry yeast, etc, knead as much as I could, raise it for 1 hour, push it gently to release gas after 1 hr, roll it with a rolling pin (or sometimes divide it in portions and roll them to form a ball ) use a donut cutter, raise the cutlets for 1 hr, fry them but they dont float but they submerge.. What did I do wrong?.. could it be the yeast? No the yeast is ok because the dough rises.. I feel like i am a failure.. My donuts are not peefect when there is no white ring.. Please help... Is it my AP flour?.. What?? 😢😢😢
@@ABCcookery thanks.. Maybe its the yeast or the flour.. I will try bread flour tomorrow.. I can also think that my dough is too dry and not wet.. When I knead my dough I knead it hard because its not elastic.. Probably this is also why..

possibly a combination of problems.
first try using fresh yeast and very good knead dough.
sometimes dry yeast is of poor quality
