  • Muscle strengthening can bring significant hip and knee arthritis pain relief 💪🏼
Join Dr. Alyssa Kuhn, PT and Dr. Kristie Ennis, PT as they show you 5 great standing exercises that can help to strengthen your knee and hip joints. Strengthening the knee can help the hip and strengthening the hip can help the knee!
One of the biggest mistakes most people make is only focusing on the joint that is painful. Instead, focusing on the joints above and below can make a big difference in pain levels and resiliency.
These 5 exercises include a variety of ways to strengthen important muscles that support the knee and hip joints including quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes! Exercises include: hip hinges, wall sit with a ball squeeze, lateral steps, modified lunge and a power swing.
Find part one of the series with the seated exercises here: • Ease Arthritis Pain: 5...

In the section of the pink shirt teacher using the step, her back foot is at a 45 degree angle.
    Is this angle required?
I thought it might be a mistake in presentation bc all exercise so far have forward pointing in both feet.
