  • If you’re a new driver or haven’t given a ride with Lyft in a while, you’ll earn $2,400 - guaranteed. Just give 140 rides in the Austin area within 30 days. www.lyft.com/drivers/ILONA014... Terms apply.
Today I did my first delivery with Lyft. It was a good delivery. I honestly did not know that Lyft even does those. Concept is the same is on Uber Eats. I fo kit think you can do just deliveries on Lyft, as you can do on Uber. But was interesting.

I picked up a Whataburger in Fayetteville Arkansas inside at the counter. But Lyft wouldn't let me leave, telling me to get the burger. I had to go through the drive through before it agreed to direct me to the customer

Yea I got a delivery and never signed up for it. It told me to get out and go inside of whataburger to pick up the order. First of all I wasn't even sure how to pay for it, second of all I don't go inside of restaurants for my own orders I go through the drive thru so why would I go stand in line for them. No thanks I'll continue to deliver people. 🙂

I did my 1st delivery on lyft. It was horrible. Picked up IHOP food then delivered it to Landdowne. I got 10 dollars for 2 stops went up 3 floors. Never got a tip

Christina Amos wow, I did not even know they have “IHOP”. The “IHOP” in Cedar Park, TX that is where I mainly dash is awful in all platforms. The only orders I get on Lyft are from “Whataburger”. Plus I noticed it shows like package delivery. I did one yesterday. Thanks for the comment.

I hate to make delivery to Menards there is not telling you where to attend . . . I had a waste of time since Customer service at Menards has no idea neither their Cashiers don't have Idea and while they figure it up to send me to the back of the store I had to go with the car all the way around the store straight to the rear entrance to Lumber area and Specialty deliveries. Once arriving at the entrance I have to wait to let the security make me open my truck and check my interior car belongings took me about 3 mins then wait for him to go back to his booth to lift the barrier. once I approached the pick-up area: there is a phone number to call after hearing all the menu and following all the instructions, somebody comes out and asked again about which order number am picking up again then this person goes back to the interior of the store and made me wait another 7 mins when finally shows up made me open the trunk and I have to sing receiving and leave again to the checkpoint of the security guard and going again for another 3 mins before he let me go away. I don't recommend doing those pick-ups 45 mins a process since accepting the Lyft delivery until destiny for just 7 DLLs is the worst. I could have done unless 3 rides of 5dlls or maybe 2 of 8dlls minimum. I prefer to cancel.

Renato Murillo that is crazy. Thanks for sharing. I did this video like a year ago and I rarely drive on Lyft. But even the deliveries I saw there were not that great compared to let’s say UberEats or Doordash.

@@WorldofDeliveries Lyft is on extra money or just as regular income. But as my experiences is just as same like a full time in a warehouse or any normal job with minimum wage. The great thing is that schedule is very flexible

@@renatomurillo7215 100%, I do gig work is full-time. But to make ok living from that you really need to balance between platforms. I do not like to drive people, so I mainly do food deliveries on different apps. But let’s say summer is extremely slow for food deliveries and you have to drive people or do instarcart. With promos I can see how u can make money with Lyft/Uber. But if you do full-time and even if you make from$25+ per hour wear and tear on your car is crazy, too. Plus all based on your market and etc. But yes I agree that it is like any other job.

    Gas prices are insane.
    Why do this.
    Lyft isn't paying for gas

Ralph Abreu it was back in December 2021. Gas prices were not as they are now. Plus the purpose of the video that such orders do exist.
