I really thought about doing these, but you are opening yourself up to so much liability. Let's say somebody gives you a wrapped package, it can be anything. It doesn't necessarily have to be anything nefarious, it could simply be a customer trying to commit type of scam based off the value of the package
Thank you
Depends if you are in place where there are not to many orders acceptance does matter
lol
Dude looked me dead in my face as i handed him his order, and reported i never delivered it. I get it its tuff out here but cmon mann your playing with some people’s livelihood.
Some people are so strange sometimes.
DoorDash hung up in my face when I called them about a man mowing me down during active service causing catastrophic damage and totaling my car as well as all of my actual physical injuries. They told me NO HELP! They also steal tips, lie about the amount offers are versus what you’re paid, and so much more. Their “driver support service” is an actual dumpster fire. STAY AWAY from DD at all costs!! When you tell ANY auto insurance company that you drive for a company like DD, UR, PM, all thr delivery and rideshare services- that’s the “no-no” and automatically your premiums will skyrocket because you’re literally tearing your car up while making 3 dollars for 12 hours and ran a whole tank of gas out. When I drove for Spark, I would drive 4 hours to drop off a batch of deliveries and sometimes to other states and make 8 bucks. That’s why THEY ARE RICH and we are still in the hole! Don’t do it!!
Can my wife come With me? Or no other passengers allowed like uber?
I would say “no”. The reason why, cause on shared trips it can be up to 3 people. For people who book the whole car you never know how many passengers will be in your car. Of course, you can check with the passenger upfront. But as a rule, I do not think passengers from your side are allowed.
scam for sure
Just did 2 of these orders and I was annoyed lol they never get the price of the order right so I get nervous if it’ll go through or not 😂 love the video on this
Do you have "Rideshare" car insurance?
It’s better to have one. I read a lot of forums about that. Briefly you need to have reliable insurance Company. Cause I’ve heard stories where insurance Companies rejected to cover accidents where drivers did not have ride share, even though food deliveries are not rideshare.
It's actually all important especially if they give you a fake contract violation and try to deactivate you. you can take a screenshot of your 💯 acceptance rating 💯 completion rating 💯 onetime rating 5.00 and rip them a new ahole.. then they will reactivate you.
In my point of view, I believe DoorDash should be a lot better app if they have the same dispersement of offers just like Uber Eats this competing for better offers is just bullshit. It does not make you independent contractor employees which of itself is a breach of contract.
Thanks for sharing. That was one of my biggest concerns about reaching 0% acceptance rate. So, from now on, I dont care.
Don’t do it. App did not correctly track mileage. My car was damaged when they removed the wrap and Wrapify is now trying to tell me that there was pre-existing damage when there was not and I have pictures proving that there wasn’t.
Sorry to hear that. You see some other people’s commented the same. I did not not have issues with the paint. But in Austin, TX I have not heard from them for at least 2 years now I would say. I guess they do not have too many campaigns here right now.
Is this still true or did they change it?
I am sure it is still true. For me personally acceptance rate was never a factor. But I always recommend to multi-app.
On both you can use the provisional licence if you give them a photo of the purchase recipt
Hello, do you need a COSTCO membership to do a uber eats order pick up for a customer?
No, you do not. When you pay for the order the app will have a bar-code and the cashier will scan it when you pay for the order. At the entrance you just show them your phone and tell if they ask that you’re doing “UberEats”.
At what completion rate does dd deactivate
Right now at least here in Austin, TX completion rate should be above 90%, previously it was 80%, but it changed recently.
HELLO I TAKE YOU. CODE USED OK THANKS MY NAME IS JOSE P
Used your code 😊
Used your referral code! 😀
Doordash orders are 95% trash deliveries. If you accept 95% trash deliveries, you are hurting those of us who reject 95% trash deliveries. Why? Because like the man said, acceptance rate means nothing for drivers, but it means everything to the Door Trash owners.
I have 💯 acceptance rating. It's a delivery company. Imagine being a delivery company and advertising that we won't deliver your order because we're greedy. They are not trash order. You people are just trash people haha
Promo*SM 🤔
Which tax form you need to fill with Hitch as a driver??
You get 1099 at the end of the year and you use it for your taxes.
Let's Grow Ride and share Next Big Thing out!!!!
Doordash is a clown act!! Run by total clowns
You are pickier then me 7 percent acceptance 😆 🤣 😂 😹
The pay from this app isn’t as high as it should be. It’s a joke. A recent trip from Dallas to College station was priced at paying the driver $113, then it was priced at $130. I accepted it when it was priced at $150 about an hour before departure. After the ride was over, while I was in college station I jumped on Lyft just to see if there was any quick rides I could give before heading back. A trip from College Station to George Bush Airport in Houston was offered as a reserved trip. It was offered at $127.00 for one way. College Station is roughly 200 miles and 3 hours of driving from Dallas. Houston is about 100 miles and an hour and a half from College Station. When you factor distance and time the pay was WELL below Lyft.
I do the same turning “Uber”/“Lyft” when I am in College Station. But yes payments became not what they used to be, even when I was recording this video. I agree that now this app is ok only on certain trips. I would say last minute trips.
@@WorldofDeliveries It's true. I realized that when they kept upping the amount they were willing to pay. That's why I grabbed it an hour before the trip was to begin. I watched your other video on this, and realized I had noticed all your points in that video after only one trip. I thought that the minimum for a one-way trip to somewhere like Austin or College Station from somewhere like Dallas should be minimum of $150 to $180, and to somewhere like Houston (that is 4.5 hours away) should be, at minimum, $250. I'm not sure I'll be using this app in the future unless it's under very specific circumstances.
@@patrickhoffman3117 for me personally the only 2 destinations I accept are Austin-College Station or Austin-Dallas; plus I try to take the ones which potentially would not have trip back. With the trip back on “Hitch” most trips do not make any sense. I’ll be honest sometimes I ask myself who are those drivers who accept non-sense trips. As additional platform to “Uber” and “Lyft” it can work. As main one after all the changes “Hitch” made it is not that great for drivers.
They changed it to 90% completion rate
Yes, in Austin, TX it changed to 90% couple of month ago.
It does stop lying to people for views. I followed youtubers and declined bunch of orders, my acceptance rate is now at 49. My dash now turned to schedule and my area is grayed out for 3 days now, i literally cannot dash
Multi-app and schedule your dashes. But acceptance rate does not matter. You can not be deactivated for acceptance rate. I feel that “doordash” is just slow in general plus too many drivers. All that has nothing to do with acceptance rate.
What about spark? Or instacart ?
So far I see there only: Doordash, Lyft, Instacart
It sound like a scam you have to pay $100
I love your accent ☺️
Doesn’t Uber and Lyft technically track the miles already and it only tracks the miles that you do when you login….. I’m guessing the miles that you drive to get to the ride don’t count? Or the miles you drive to get home after work don’t count.
It is always better to track your own miles. Yes “Ubet”/“Lyft” tracks, but it is better to track yourself as well. I have an accountant who does my paperwork, so how exactly it is calculated I do not know, but definitely better to track yourself.
@@WorldofDeliveries noted with Stride. I just click add Miles the moment I accept a trip and finish at the moment. I finish the trip unless another ride is next in line.
It seems like a good platform, REVO.. REVO should be everywhere, let’s go Montreal

Are they in Texas yet?
Not sure. I have not seen any logos on any of the cars. Nobody contacted me. So I know they said they are coming, but who knows
@@WorldofDeliveries I got in touch with a Revo TH-cam promoter I guess and he said they aren't in Texas yet but soon!
I would be careful sharing referral links on your socials. I'm not sure about Lyft but I know DoorDash and Instacart will deactivate you if they catch on to it. Best of luck 🙏
They always said we are coming, try to get money from you somehow and then disappear, stop talking and DO IT
Yes it does
Its a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) scheme. Its all about getting commissions from referring other drivers or riders. Stay away from companies like this.
It’s optional to refer people there’s no pressure to move up in the company u make your own money by just using the regular ride-share function. Stop spreading false information
I sign-up and was asked for all my information for my vehicle such as insurance and license.
I guess I am registered as a rider then. Cause when I downloaded the app I actually was abroad.
Yes!!! We coming to your area soon. Tomorrow we launch in New Orleans. Let’s go REVO Rideshare.
I just got a Violation for being 10 minutes late to the stupid store. My previous customer called and complained he was missing part of his order that Dairy Queen didn't put in the bag. All you can do is fight em. Lucky they go away far faster than 1 stars!
Those are not too eligible so I refuse everytime
Doordash is shady company, don't work for them, they are crooks
