    I’ve seen exhaust mufflers that go over this tips for startup to help reduce noise for neighbors, anyone know where to find that?

    Here is a tip from an old timer: Pipes have turbulance in them at set intervals (pulses); those pulses, if the pipes are trimmed correctly, can either increase or decrease top speed and affects horsepower. By painting the pipe (I know, we spend a lot of money on systems) with say, a white latex paint, you can see where the pulses start and end. By trimming the length of the end of the pipe just before or just after the next burn marks, you can increase HP and top speeds. (Then clean up your pretty stainless exhaust). And remember : Some back pressure helps too, but that's another chapter.

    Just got some silencers also, and for the same exact reason. Did you still the exhaust to install them? Or did they stay in without drilling?

    • @DrivingProduction

      I ended up getting them tac welded on to make sure they didn't fall out.

    I have a front bumper exhaust with a muffler at the end. It's over all pretty nice. But it has a raspy sound when Im shifting. :( I really don't like it. Trying to remove that rasp.

    too loud for the dog- lol. would this quiet down a loud exhaust on a 77 cutlass? my neighbor is always threatening to report me to the cops for it and it's crimping my enjoyment of my car, like I can never drive it.

    • @DrivingProduction
      @DrivingProduction  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's possible it would help, at least if it can help on cold start so your neighbor doesn't call the cops on you 😅

    I just got a ticket yesterday in Ontario for 110$, for having a loud exhaust (mine is straight piped), will this help with not getting tickets lol? Valves are about 1000$, way too expensive

    • @DrivingProduction
      @DrivingProduction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm sure it would help to tone it done but I can't say if it's gonna keep the tickets away lol 😅
