People in general are always under the illusion Corollas and Civic are the most reliable in this segment. Wrong.. The Mazda 3 is. The other 2 were reliable. But putting little 3 cyl Turbos in them have put the Skyactiv Gs out in front..

I have the 2014 mazda 3 with the 2 Liter engine. I love it, starts up every time and I got it at 67k miles and it’s almost doubled since I got it since I drive a lot. Never had any big issues with it, I have a squeaky belt right now but that’s the extent of my problems. It’s been great and is hands down the best looking economy car out there and it even has a decent aftermarket. I’m planning on keeping it for another 10 years.

i used to have a 6spd skyactiv I was looking into somehow building and I loved it! sadly I got t-boned in it in 2021 and it was deemed a total loss. i did get another gen 2 in auto for the wife but eventually i want a gen 3 to daily myself as our other car is my project car.

I would skip the engine flush, those products can cause more harm than good, not worth potential damage to the engine. Generally speaking, most "mechanic in a can" products are a bad idea.

I have a 2014 I’ve had since new. If it wasn’t holding up so well, I would get a new car. I just can’t bring myself to make such an irresponsible decision when my current car is just fine.its well taken care of and rides like the day I bought it. A part of me wishes it would crap out and give me an excuse to buy something new. Another part of me is proud I’m crushing bank in a well maintained and high mileage humble-mobile.

I have 1,8L with the 16 valve DOHC engine and my spinns on 1-3 gear, but I want more power in my car. Its only 120hp! Is it something I can do to get more HPOWER and does the mods you are talking about work on my car?

Did you notice much of a difference with low end torque? I just got a 2016 Mazda 3 hatchback last week and it's got the 2.0. I had also test driven one with a 2.5 and it had a lot more low end torque than the 2.0 does. If the car with the 2.5 had a clean Carfax and had been a littlow lower priced I'd have gotten that one, but the one with the 2.0 was in pristine condition and had such great service history, I went with that car instead. I love how it shifts and handles, I'd just love a little more pull at the low end, especially between first and second. Torque is more fun to me than flat out speed, especially for city driving.

Can you please explain why the valve cover hose to intake hose is cancelled at the intake hose? What's the purpose? Avoid carbon build up?

Thank you so much for the video. I just installed a retrofit kit bought from Amazon Canada. It worked well for the first month, but now I am facing serious issues with the system. If I drive the car for more than 45 minutes to 1 hour, AA gets disconnected and reconnects back in 10 seconds; eventually it gets disconnect completely. To get it to work again, I need to turn off the engine and wait, like, for around 10 minutes. Initially, I thought something was wrong with my USB cable, and I replaced it with a newer one, but it still didn't fix the issue.

Your Video is the simplest video I've ever seen 👏🏿, is pretty much straight to the point with the essentials needed, the other videos I've seen they almost take the whole dashboard off... I just finished doing mine it took me about 2hrs. ps. the hardest part is just routing the cable from the top to the bottom MAZDA 3 2015 Hatchback. ordered the module from Amazon less than $100

Thank you for the tutorial, it helped a lot. If you dont have a wire hanger, use a plastic one, vreak the long bottom piece and feed it from BELOW up to the vents. That worked for me :)
