Pard NV008 LRF red dot laser reconnection. Re enabling the red dot laser.

- This video briefly and concisely describes how to reconnect the red dot laser in the Pard nv008 lrf. The red dot laser is disabled by default on shipping to the U.K.
I take no responsibility for any damage you do to your Pard, but if you follow the instructions in this video it should be a very simple and quick fix. If in doubt don't attempt this fix.
Once reactivated, activated please use your red dot responsibly.
There are other videos out there showing you how to do this, but I thought I'd do a very short version.
Below is a link to the LRF firmware which can be used to give extra functionality on the NV008

I can confirm 100percent .. the pard 008s lrf is exactly the same as the above video .. same plug same leads same place same procedure

A very good video thank you,a point for the thicko`s ( like me ),if the PIP shortcut is enabled it has to be disabled for the pointer to work,took me a bit to suss that fact out
Yes you're right its kind of due to the buttons being used for more than one purpose. I've had about 4 (maybe 5) NV008s, but never a set of instructions ; you know, those things we (men) only resort to when literally all else fails ;)

I'm not sure what you are referring to buddy. Do you mean the fishing creel around the focus ring?

Looks like they have disconnected the dot laser from the TA32 thermal series too! Anyone managed to reconnect? Useful to have to guide a scope onto a rabbit etc…
Unfortunately I've not had one on the bench (or been shooting in an age because of a perpetually filled bench!) All can suggest is have a look using your search engine of choice. Best of luck buddy.
Non lrf, laser and menu not working. Software and plug?
Honestly, I don't know what to tell you for that one. Are you a member of any of the Pard groups? Such on MeWe? (An app, though all shooting sales groups are slowly being taken down; it looks like Facebook is on the prowl to buy it)
It does sound like it may have been bricked if you've got no menus, or a button failure? They're not the most robust.
Does this apply to the 008 non LRF?
If the laser is disabled, I imagine it would, yes. All the non lrf 008s I have come across had working lasers.
is the s lrf the same mate

I doubt the inside layout will be the same, but it may well be (I've not had one)
If someone is willing to send me one, I will certainly find out for you.
