PARD 008 to 008LRF hack !

I had a comment that was then removed that said "That’s not a hack, the software was made available to download for the 008 when the lrf was released.".....sorry, i will have to correct you on that. I was the repair shop for PARD uk and had worked out that the 008 software update could work with the 008LRF , before PARD released the official upgrade, it is well documented on NV forum UK. Bloody brilliant work, I do wonder of its possible to ad hock a range finder into/onto the unit so it works along side. Either way thats good work. Well done.

Hi I don’t suppose you do the same sort of thing for the 007? Ie I bought one from Wish (big mistake)! And it is in Chinese with no option to change the language. Can you help? Thanks Adrian.
Nice one Ash that'll help a lot of folk with 008s who've been asking on the forums about the availability/backward compatibility of the 008LRFs extra reticles and savable profiles for the 008. 👍🏻
After seeing videos by some others where their zeroed reticle's maybe not central, and therefore not within the (fixed) magnified PiP box, I was wondering if you think a future software update could include a PiP window that centres on the zeroed reticle, or indeed that could display in a user-specified position?
If so that could result in five saved calibre/rifle/cartridge profiles whose PiP boxes all effectively magnify slightly different areas of the screen, and display in different areas. 🤔 ...one for the boffin programmers that. 🤓😂

RussDouglas 222 , they did do it in a way to the 007 with the crosshair upgrade, so I think they may do the same with the 008 series to keep the CH in the center !

Done.brilliant cheers mate,only thing i would say that the zero changed and wasnt the same x/y as before so i would just zero as from new,the old x/y was miles off.
Yep, it has to be that way so you will have to rezero and forget the old numbers as the new number system works better !

I have problem with ny pard008
My pard 008, i sett the zero retcle, and i pres save..., if it turn off, the all of setting is default setting.. cannot save thw retcle asdjustment,, how did i fix my problem ? Please help

Yes that one is the 008LRF, it has also had a better firmware put on it now, so the FW is now updated on the link too !

You may want to turn the volume up as it’s quite loud on any device I’ve tried it on !

Its has to be your end, try turning the volume up on your device !
@@customhunting Thx , my laptop is on max vol satellite C660. Always have issues unless source is higher than this. Very interested in your topic, I'll just watch it later on desktop. ;)
