Easy way to fit the BS005 90 shore o-ring to tiny brass carrier HW100 / 110 etc.
มุมมอง 10ปีที่แล้ว
As title, this is the easiest way I've found to fit the BS005 90 shore o-ring to tiny brass carrier on HW100 / 110 etc cylinder internal valves. this applies to all the HW family taking the same seals as the Weihrauch 100, and if done right (and not trying to hold for camera!) saves a lot of frustration. like I mentioned in the video a lot of people will stay warm this ring up in hot water or h...

P15 transfer port 1st attempt on mini CNC (Denford Orac / Mach 3) I've been asked a number of times to make P15 TPS, but generally I'm too busy / my back is sore AF / I can't be ars*d. So, with the help of a little G-Code routine I quickly wrote, this is the majority of the work done. It just needs the pin flat & knock open valve side, which will be a 2 minute job on the manual Boxford. I may r...

Quick fix for the Nikko Stirling point of aim / impact shift on cheaper Nikko scopes.

In this video I show how I sorted the apparent shift of aim in some of my Nikko scopes. I realised that the diopter adjustment was moving left right up down because the threads or the fit is quite loose because. I wear glasses so I need the dioptre adjustment set, so the reticle is nice and crisp. I realise some people simply screw the dioptre ring all the way in so it is square against the eye...

Old Webley & Scott Hawk MK3 with barrel badly deflected upward.

Old Webley & Scott Hawk MK3 with barrel badly deflected upward. All the usual Webley issues in a rifle not very well maintained, lateral deflection (very thin shims would solve this) main issue was the barrel was so obviously deflected upwards when locked up, that it was impossible to zero with a 6x scope at 25 yards. Not the worst trigger, and indeed after cleaning up & adjusting (grub on top)...

    Hi bud where can I get one of those spacers please

    • @Erasmuspipebagger1
      @Erasmuspipebagger1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi buddy you can make out of a piece of brass if you have access to a lathe, if not, you can get the actual mark 2 part from TW chambers for about a tenner code C1244. It's a solid screw though, not a roller on the outside of your existing M3 grub. I have found after significant testing that with the mark one wildcat cocking technique is as important as anything. Cock the rifle back so the mag rotates, then set the Hammer by cocking a tad more. That seems to stop bad indexing a great deal or at least reduce it. If the magazine actuator blade doesn't swing away towards the neodymium magnet in the block, that can also cause problems on cocking. TBH, it is simply a very poor design on the part of FX. I have made a few of the rollers but I find that each rifle prefers a particular overall diameter. Best regards. P.S. if there are any spelling mistakes or typos it's because I'm having to use speech to text since I've got an ultra se Airtech stage 2 tune on my lap (just resetting the power / balancing to reg)

  • @MrBobbyevo
    @MrBobbyevo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    hi mate,just watched your video, with regards your stock and it being tampered with, the only explanation i would give is as it was a demonstration rifle, they have put a mk4 IS in an older mk4 stock, they have chipped it out because the pressure sensor would not have fitted otherwise, a bit of a butchers job yes but it has been done because it was only a demonstration rifle, one of the daystate staff would of originally owned this and they have sold it on, i have just looked at my mk4 IS and the inletting is longer to allow for the pressure sensor,the original mk4 had a pressure gauge, i wouldnt worry about it as its internal anyway lol, they are superb rifles and very very accurate

    • @Erasmuspipebagger1
      @Erasmuspipebagger1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm no longer a fan of daytate rifles although I still service and repair them for owners. My point was, (even if it has been a demonstrator rifle) this could have been done better. A lot better. It was poorly done. Having a lot more experience of the various models of Daystates, both mechanical & electrical / electronic, is that they lool nice on the outside. Their customer service leaves a nasty taste, and its simply better to get on with fixing them, than to consider how some poor soul had his wallet extracted while bent over.

    • @Erasmuspipebagger1
      @Erasmuspipebagger1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sale date of gun was March 2017 on receipt (corrected by sales team from 2016 to 2017 on both sales receipt and the service receipt). I believe Daystate make a big deal of the electronics being dipped (4 times) in something that allows the electronics to be submerged in water (which they apparently used to do at shows) and still be fine. While doing the felt mod for the battery rattle, I saw no evidence of this. That and the battery connectors still appear exposed in any case. Someone got back to me with a date for the rifle from its serial number with a manufacture date of 15/11/11, which doesn't make sense, but is possible.
