Spot on Giles! Best review to date. The NV 008P is outstanding. The LRF version is another £250. I already have the terrific MTC Rapier, so it was an easy pick for me. The fact that there are five pre-set zero options is fantastic. Saves an awful lot of ferret spinning, and small differences can be allowed for by holding over/under. Great piece of kit!
thanks giles for RE-UPLOADING the video. i'm loading the pard 008 direct trough the usb ( max 1100 mA ) and it works ok to me and the lazer works to, but i don't use it. only one down side, the rubber eye piece you can't take it off GRTZ from Belgum
I have 2x NV008 units, one on an FAC Impact .25 cal and the other on a small centrefire .17 Hornet. Fabulous piece of kit. Only niggle is the sound recording quality that isn't great in the first instance but picks up additional interference when the batteries run low.
That was a really good review and has given me something to think about, new air rifle or pard still not sure on that one but at least I know which nv unit I would buy. Thank you Giles 😊
Well. THAT was interesting. Do you know if the engraved serial number is just a UK thing? Or does it apply to the US as well? I have one, bought via Amazon, with no serial number engraved. It was only $50 off list, so no huge discount. Any idea?
How big should your garden be to do some air pistol shooting? I'm not sure if mine is right for it but I do wanna have some fun with some tin cans if you know what I mean 😉

Good video , I've just been given a pard as a present and am in process about learning how to use it and what to do and not to do.
Go to your auto motor shop and pick up a set of feeler gauges for a few $ and cut to size . Come in many thicknesses in a set .

You should be in a classroom, very precise explanation that even I can understand....I have 008p wish I had bought the LRF model.

Love it.. but it does not like the extreme cold weather. batteries fail when it gets below zero. Thats the only thing to let me down so far.
