    I have the newest version (NV008SP LRF) and I am able to adjust by following the below instructions. When you are in night vision mode and have activated the range finder, simply press the menu button. The menu will come up but disregard it. Just simply long press the + button. The adjustment screen will come up once you release the + button.
    *Instructions found on a random internet posting:
    “The laser is visible as a flashing vertical line
    If the targeting box is not aligned with the laser flash, the position of the targeting box can be adjusted as follows:
    1. Select Night vision mode
    2. Switch on range-finding
    3. Open the main menu (no items need to be selected)
    4. A long press on the + button will open the targeting box sub menu with X and Y
    values displayed.
    5. Use the + and - buttons to change the values and move the targeting box to the
    desired position, and the OK button to move between X and Y.
    6. When the targeting box is in the desired position, a short press on the MENU button
    will close the menu”

    Thank you for making this video. I hope I don't have any trouble and I doubt I will but I'll keep you posted. I have a NV008SLRF. So many people were telling me that you don't have to do that. And I'm really surprised that these instructions are absent from the manual or their website. Or am I missing something?

    What kind of sight can withstand the return of large-caliber rifled weapons, and is designed for cartridges, .30-06, .300, .375H & H, etc., can also be used on smooth-bore and pneumatic hunting weapons?

    Can you alter the actual laser splash so it’s nearer to the actual cross hairs? I heard might be able to prise off LRF plastic cover and alter screws? Help! 👍

    I just tried this procedure with my new NV008s and when I have the IR pulsing in my screen in night mode and long press the menu button, it turns my red laser on, but doesn’t bring up the menu shown in this video. My pulsing light is horizontal in the screen and not vertical. The indicator is almost centered, but slightly to the left of center.

    Any videos or tips on how to get the PIP to be centered on the crosshairs? Is it just a matter of shimming so the crosshairs are dead center on the screen?

    • @OpticsWarehouse1
      @OpticsWarehouse1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. From we can tell you just have to slowly move the crosshairs across until you get it where you want. Thanks

    Thank you for the information on that video I have a question though I tried everything you did and my light does not move what moves is a little square with the cross in it my light is kind of center to the cross of my radical I can’t see it in the day hopefully you can reply back to me and help me so I can move the light out of the way thanks

      Hello Jose, unfortunately you are unable to adjust where the LRF laser points, you are only able to adjust the cursor so you can accurately tell the range you are shooting.
      Kind Regards

    hi iv just bought pard 008s lrf the instructions are not great.can somebody please explain to me how to line up mt rangefinder with my rectical mine is way off,step by step if possible please.thank you

  • @VerminHuntersTV

    Will the cross in the box always be where the laser is pointing now no matter what range you are shooting at?

    • @OpticsWarehouse1
      @OpticsWarehouse1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      sorry we just realise we had made an error on the previous reply, the PARD 008 LRF will only be exactly on the cursor at the zeroed range, because of where the rangefinder is located on the side of the 008 it will have some degree of crossover because of the angle between the laser output and camera recording the image to display on the screen, this will only be a small amount but worth mentioning.

    Do you have to manually turn the rangefinder on and off every time you locate a target or is it scanning constantly?

    • @OpticsWarehouse1
      @OpticsWarehouse1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, you can turn it on and off with a button push if you choose to but you can also leave it on and it will constantly update the range as you scan. Thanks.

    Hi, Im fairly new to airgunning. I have just purchased the Pard nv008lrf. I have my fac rifle zeroed at 50yds for my conventional scope. Its a mill dot reticle and im used to hold under and hold over with it. The pard reticle doesn't seem to cater for milldots and in particular hold under.
    Am i just thick? Any advice would be welcomed by this novice, thanks. Ewan.

    • @OpticsWarehouse1
      @OpticsWarehouse1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Ewan
      The latest software update has a reticle that features both hold over and hold under points, however another way round this would be to zero at the highest point of the trajectory, and therefore you would only need to use hold over.
      i hope this helps with your question, please feel free to ask us about any other features on the pard 008LRF
      Cheers

    Do have to use hold over when u use the lrf or re set pard zero be fore the shot,

    • @OpticsWarehouse1
      @OpticsWarehouse1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you do have to use hold over as the PARD 008LRF does not have ballistic software built in.

      Optics Warehouse Is it a feature they’re going to add or is it not possible... I like the look and features of the pard008 but would be very impressed if it could do what the (hehem) atn 4K pro can do which is automatically adjust the reticle to the target 🤔

    Something I have not thought of; If you store this away, for a few weeks or months, remove the 18650 battery, does it keep the setting, or is it, everytime Bat, runs out, its back the start again ?

      Most units retain a memory -otherwise everything would have to be reset upon removing batterys for recharging etc each time
