    Love how you have put your course vlog touch into the club reviews for the course footage. Have to agree they are beautiful!! Well done mate on turning boring reviews into some thing interesting and worth watching.

    Well.... I just got notifications that Rick Shiels, James Robinson and yourself had put vlogs out on these clubs.
    Who did I watch right away? Yours! Great review mate. Love it.

    Amazing initial review. I’ve never seen your channel before but have subscribed after watching this. Seems honest, relatable and real. I’m off around 9 and am considering upgrading my old 790’s for perhaps a blended set so will definitely try out all 3 options after watching this. Thanks again!

    Absolutely beautiful! I play the 2014 TP blades. I bought the P730 set but preferred the TP. I'll certainly be giving these a swing. Maybe a nice combo 3,4,5 MC, 7-PW in MB

    The P770 is nice. The blade looks like a Mizuno MP knock off. The CB is the Taylormade Rac TP repeat. Good review.

    Great review Andy, yes I came to you first too! Still love my p790 which I’ve had for couple years a lot down to your review of them. But the 770 do look fantastic! Cheers.

    Andy the biggest mystery to me is that you only have 32k subscribers, your recent vids have nailed it!
    PS Nice looking Irons, that MB looks very Mizuno inspired (and I mean that as a compliment)

    love the looks of that p7mb and if a set of 7-pw shows up on the used market, may not be able to resist, but for now--titleist 716cbs rock.

    Great video Andy. All these clubs look beautiful, but are they worth £1299.00? To me it’s No! I still use my P790’s 4-PW that I bought in 2017 and love them. I had the sense at the time of buying to have the fitter tweak the lofts and make the whole set weaker, as I was aware that the lofts were a bit strong for me. (ie. 7 iron was weakened to 33 deg Loft) I’m amazed that Taylormade haven’t released a set of retro lofted P790’s. They would clean up! 👍

      @bertraminc9412 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I swapped from Titleist AP2 to TM 790 and I couldn’t be happier. Now I like the idea of 770 being smaller and I wish I could play the current gen TM blades but I am a 16 so that won’t happen. I will however blend in the MC in the low irons up to maybe 6 or 7 and 770 up to 4. They are so beautiful, I can’t wait!

    • @carpykeith
      @carpykeith 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      bertraminc I’m not so sure mate! I’m of an age now that when I started playing there were effectively NO cavity back irons (1970)! It was all blades either cast or forged! Nobody complained about the game being too difficult, you found a way to get round, kids to seniors! I was scratch at one point but my game has gone downhill as I have latched on to tech in the game. I normally play i210’s BUT I have a set of Titleist ZM blades and I strike them much better! Maybe I just concentrate more! Mark Crossfield produced some stuff about high hcp’s and blades not being a bad thing!

    • @bertraminc9412
      @bertraminc9412 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      carpykeith When this pandemic clears I’ll probably order the TM blades with S shafts and experiment with that idea. I began golf with Hogan Edge forged in 1990 and shot my best score to date with them years ago. I learned to hit them and had great control. I tried game improvement AP1 and hated them. I prefer those hogan edge over my 790 but I do get greater distance out of the 790. I’m hoping the 770s will be similar with a shorter blade.

    at 3:40 I noticed you had a bit of a side shift in your hips to the right in your back swing. you do that on purpose? I have heard that you don't wan to shift side to side in your back swing you just want to rotate and stay in your cylinder if that makes sense.

    I love everything about the MB’s with the exception of the feel, looks, workability, top line and design. The grip and shaft are outstanding and I just prefer a less forgiving club simply. The 2 iron simply instills confidence!

    I’m undecided between the 770s and P7MC. I play off 15 and have high ball flight and currently hit a 7i 170 yards. Worried 770s be too high ball flight and not stop and P7MC I’m not good enough to use!!? Any advice please??

    • @martynmantack4026
      @martynmantack4026 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mc I’ve hit both I play off 15 as well. Yes it is harder to hit but the sound and feel is pure when centred. Well worth the struggle to get your handicap down.
