any guidance please? kinda hard to choose from so many optimisation modpacks out there =)
I get high average fps but my game is stuttering so bad and its very often, mostly when generating chunks, i play with the remarkably optimized modpack, nvidium on with 64 chunks
Try allocating the game more ram, closing backround tasks or moving the game to an ssd, if nothing works check the ingame settings, turn down the render distance and a vod mod to get 64 chunks, make sure vsync is off and make sure you dont have any mods you dont need other than that idk... Try optifine maybe :)
Imma merge every single modpack of optimization into one so i can have the most performance
for some reason, when using any of these mod packs, i can barely get over 100 fps, and i cant even get 60 with shaders. i have an amd ryzen 9 5950x, rtx 3080ti, and 64 gb of ram, so theres absolutely no way my pc isnt good enough to do it, but i dont know what im doing wrong
What are your chunks set to anything over 24 is hard to run. Also disable vsync and allocate minecraft more ram, by default its 2 gb which is not enough for this many modpacks
@@wh1zze i have render distance set to 12, vsync off, and i have 32gb allocated
is it only in minecraft?
@@wh1zze yeah, other games run fine
Then it might be an old or faulty java install, delete java and reinstall the latest and run minecraft with that, alternatively vulkan mod runs great with newer systems you can also try that
shouldve also tested additive since you tested fabulously optimized
Will do in part 2 :)
Does fabulously optimized work well on an intel graphics card?
It generally should since it's just using regular Vulkan or OpenGL renderers.
I recommend using vulkan mod cuz arc gpus suck on opengl
For me fabulously optimize runs the best. But I think it's because I don't have a nivida card. I am using intel hd graphics.
thats exactly the reason I showcase multiple modpacks. there is not a certain best one, it depends on your pc ❤❤
@@wh1zze ye. Thx for making banger videos
Hi do you know anything about lunar client? The fps I get from that is insane but I’m not sure what sort of optimizations they use.
They still use optifine but im guessing you're using lunar for 1.8.9 which is generally a much more lightweight version of the game
@@wh1zzethere is a modpack for 1.8.9 i found recently called “Max FPS” and it’s really the only good fps modpack on 1.8.9 that actually includes a sufficient amount of mods, i would mention it if you made a part 2 as i couldn’t recommend it enough
Look it up on modrinth
I use vulkan32x modpack from modrinth. This have 60-140more fps on my pc than performium.Performium has the best fps on my pc From sodium modpacks
Vulkan is much better optimized than the current renderer that Minecraft uses which is OpenGL
@@wh1zze 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
hello just a question, does Nvidium count as an Optimization ModPack? I am only asking this because I saw a few videos on it and it looks quite promising.
@@ashqmed yes it does but note that nvidium is a mod not a modpack
its a mod, not a modpack
to see what you actually get without f3 menu you look at the very 1st number of the fps when it first shows up thats the real fps
yes but if i use f3 in all of them its also a fair comparison
for me simply optimized with zoomify and any other mods u want is the best modpack for fps
Yessss
Why dont just install or combine the mods yourself and get all the benefits? Best performance and qol mods
how do i make distant horizons + iris less laggy
you can try by lowering the render quality and distance also allocate more of your cpu to distant horizons
distant horizon sucks overrated mod makes the game unplayable and doesnt even load the chunks
@@huggywuggy594?
I have an nvidia gpu but I can’t use nvidium because my gpu doesn’t support mesh shaders.
(I have 1050ti)
Ohhhh, makes sense. I forgot to specify or actually research what Nvidia GPUs it works with. That's my fault
@@wh1zze I’m pretty sure most/all modern nvidia gpus support it, so usually it’s fine. But for those of us with older cards, we gotta double check
It doesn't work on my 1060 6gb either :(
@@wh1zzenext video on this topic, I suggest you include that nvidium only works with opengl mesh shaders, which only works on 16xx series and newer
In my opinion I get all 4 mod packs and use all of the mods 🤷♂️
as someone who averages on 40fps or 60fps depending what im playing, what is the actual difference??
I want one for forge
Bro my pc is ass I can't even run vanilla minecraft. When i run performance modpacks i get 40 to 65 fps😭

Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 705
Chipset: GeForce GT 705

Dedicated Memory: 2.0 GB
the i5 4750 and gt 705 is why 💀
Daniel give me coffee
I see you have lossless scaling, can you benchmark it on minecraft, with shaders, and without?
I will consider your request in the follow up episode planned to release soon.❤❤
I'm going to play Minecraft at version 1.20.4 should I get Performiun 1.0.8 or 1.0.0?
Why are there no good Vulkan modpacks like Vulkan is sooo good and doesn't crash that often now
Nice vid
which is the best? SODIUM, RUBIDIUM, EMBEDDIUM, NVIDIUM or fabously optimize
you are listing both mods and modpacks
"don't use modpacks with nvidium if you don't have an nvidia gpu" is misinformation, nvidium just disables itself on unsupported systems
Try Wing optimization modpack!
Thanks for your request I will consider it in the next video!
