If not already, i recommend geophilic; its very subtle, but it adds neat things like fallen trees, small boulders, and more to the overworld that makes it look slightly better

Hey Joe, have you heard about a resource pack called The Great Shrimpsby ? I started using it recently after coming across a video for it, and I think you'd really enjoy it! It re-textures the UI similarly to how Colorful Containers does, and it also changes the model of some blocks like the crafting table and mobs like the shulker. I think it really fits the modern designs that mojang has been going for while also keeping a bit of classic simplicity.
I've been playing minecraft for like 13 years on and off but I haven't gone all that into the heavy mods since the days of yore. I appreciate you going over how to install and customize the modpack in the video because we did it a lot differently back in the day. Looking forward to seeing you hit the 100k+ and more videos! Time to start a new two week minecraft phase using this pack lol
thank you for the modpack it’s so great!!! have you seen fresh moves? there’s a version of the resource pack that only animates the eyes and not the whole skin. it looks very similar to mob eyes in fresh animations. thank you again for the modpack i’ll be installing it later
These look fine ✨️ I really like the blockstate feature that allows random models for the blocks, letting random rotation and so on. Some resourcepacks make really good use of it. I hope Mojang adds animation and entity support for Java soon.
Joe, if you haven’t already, you should check out a mod called Wilder Wild! It adds a lot of stuff from concept art of the wild update as well as some original things.
@@__Kami_Katze_ there is 2 ways. 1. put the modpack on a server and pay (we do this one) 2. add the mod "essential" and make your friends join like on bedrock (they can only play when you do)
I recommend u check the Fresh Animations Extensions packs, there are some cool packs in there like the objects pack and the quivers pack. Epic vid as always, keep like that! ❤
There is one mod that makes ores glow vibrant and beautiful in the dark with their own colors. You must add it, it is in a popular RPG modpack. In the name of the pack it has RPG but I don't remember the name now. 4:53 even better than that one you just showed, if you hold a torch to an ore in the mod I am referring to, the ore glow in its color on your face. Lapiz is so insanely good in that mod.
I have that one Modpack problem. When I create a Modpack myself, it Always Crashes. But now i Made a Modpack based on your Modpack that works Just fine! Huuuuge thanks for that!

I ask because I have a vanilla world I don't want to mess with. I'm glad there's options to remove some of the mods!! Woop!! Soo excited for this!!
I missed a few other mods and RP i use myself, BetterGrassify brings OF better grass to Sodium, and there are a few 3D texture packs that make a huge difference, Simply 3D, UtilCraft Models3D, 3nchanted books, Foliage+ Tweaks, DoorTweaks, and also i use DetailedAnimationsReworked so my characther can move like the mobs in fresh animations. Also Distant Horizons is a game changer for Minecraft, people don't like to include it in MP cause its still in alpha but honestly is as reliable as vanilla Minecraft can be 🤷🏻♂️
Is there a way to customize further? I have a few of your mods I either don’t want or want to replace, but I like everything else! Great video btw! As someone who is trying to make videos myself I appreciate all the effort you put! (Edit): I know you covered how to but it doesn’t seem to work for me not sure why
Dumb noob question maybe: Can Modpacks be customized, as in swapping mods for alternatives or adding/removing certain mods? Also, thanks a lot for this! Been watching lots of videos, just marvelling at what can be done, and how the mod scene kept evolving all this time =D

Previously I'd only "test ran" it, years ago, just to try it with mods that kinda blew my mind for a bit, but never actually bought it or played it for more than those few days, I think. Mostly out of principle, since I live in Bolivia and am bothered with how companies don't seem even consider poorer countries and don't have price parity/regional prices for their products (may be too much of a hassle to deal with). But I think I can afford it now without much difficulty, tho mainly cause of things like your videos, hah, and how much one can get out of the game now (+ its cultural impact, how I'm marveled at how MC works behind scenes, what people have done with it and stuff). Ok, I'll stop rambling, thanks for your videos! (in case you read this =P)
What problems are you having with Modrinth? If you can download and install the modpack but cannot seem to play in it, you can simply go to the folder of the modpack and copy everything in it, go to your curseforge and create a new profile with the version Fabric 1.21 and whichever launcher version it is, and open up the folder of your newly created modpack profile from curseforge and paste everything there.
@@guyonabudget6389 My modrinth keeps getting corrupted every once in a while, so i have to re-install it again and again. I can't seem to find the fix that's why.. Anyways, thankyou for the advice! ;)
@@teamo2105 I understand you, I was in the same boat as you a couple of weeks/month ago. I honestly don’t know how it’s working now, but during those times where I couldn’t make modrinth work/playable but I can install modpacks etc, that’s what I do: Copy paste the: config mods resourcepacks shaderpacks option.txt from the specific modrinth modpack to curseforge and weirdly enough works, lol. Anyway, hope one day your modrinth situation gets magically fixed just like mine 😅

Also there's "Hearths" by the same creator, which is basically this but for the nether
It's a client side modpack, so adding geophilic would have to be server-side as well.

There's a mod called Hellion's sniffer +. It adds a new wood type and lets you ride sniffers. I like the mod and I think you will too.
I especially appreciate the optimization mods. My laptop was able to run the shader included with no problem, surprisingly.
I highly recommend the Emoji Type mod. It let's you type emojis that are compatible with minecraft just as you would type them in discord.

Tip for those with lower-end devices that still want shaders:
Complimentary has some very good presets that still look amazing on lower settings
thats if you can even turn mc on with them, my mc just crashes. so i instead use a very nice shader called miniature
