Pick Up Limes Hi Sadia, thank you so much for making this video, I have trouble often times with eye contact 😌 trying to work on that .. I wonder if others struggle with that.
As a single dad to a fourteen year old daughter, I want to thank you for your videos. You are the strong and POSITIVE female roll model that she always needed in her life. And she absolutely adores you. After years of emotional abuse from her mother, she is deeply wounded and sees you as a beacon of hope. I am here for her everyday with love, patience, and understanding. But you epitomize the woman she needed in her life rather than the one she had. Again, thank you. You mean a lot to my little girl. How did you learn to ignore them or fight against them? I think I'm in a similar situation, and it ruins my life. I rather do nothing than try and fail and further confirm that I am useless. I so helplessly fear failing yet I still know that not trying is a 100% fail.
Ultimately the choice is always yours...in your heart of hearts you should know to ignore any negativeness and only listen to positiveness even if it only comes from within.

You could tell us something in dutch at the end of every video and put subtitles in english. That way you would practice and maybe some of your subscribers would learn a word or two in dutch.

One thing that works well for me in building up confidence, is to revisit previous projects/work I've done. It is so easy for us to constantly raise the bar for what is the standard, that we overlook how much we have grown. Revisiting old work helps realise, that what we can do today, we may only have dreamed about one year ago. Thank you for putting yourself out there and sharing these lovely videos.
I love when people can show their imperfections and make fun of them. No one is perfect. Doing this actually shows true confidence and makes you more "real" to your audiences. Really love your channel. :)
I always wanna be a confident person. I can't even stand by group of people with confidence. Public gathering always makes me feel uncomfortable. Hope i will overcome it.
I can totally relate to it and attest the fact that "To increase your confidence, you need to improve your competence". I had been struggling in my early months of my first job and with time as I improved my competence, I felt confident with what I do. Beautifully said, Love ❤️🤗
I feel so healthy and blessed watching this gorgeous angel talk. It’s like heaven on earth. I can just imagine what heaven what be like someday such a nice place.
The opposite of humility is not arrogance. It can be confidence and acceptance of our accomplishments. Brilliant stuff. Thank you for making this video. 🙏🏻
I went through a period at work where I was in a new position at the same company and I was the newest one on the team. Everyone was super nice but I just felt like I'd never be as good as those people, and they all must do the job so easily and I was surely the only one that was struggling. For reference, I work in software deployment for a multinational software company. I work with 6 or 7 clients at a time to set up their software, understand their business needs, etc. A few things that helped me to gain confidence: 1. As Sadia said, just practice helped immensely. Finding answers on my own instead of running to a teammate first gave me a sense of accomplishment. 2. Basically jumping off the deep end and realizing that hey, I'm likeable - my customers like me, and realizing they didn't expect me to have every answer to every off the wall question they had. Learning to be honest and say, "You know what? I'm not 100% sure, but let me research that and get back to you by tomorrow. 3. Honestly, hearing from the more tenured members of the team that they get nervous too. Knowing that I wasn't alone in my pre-meeting jitters, and that they go through the same struggles, helped me. 4. Finally, and probably the biggest one - soon, I wasn't the newest on the team anymore. And I was expected to help the newer team members. Helping to answer their questions and teaching them how to do things made me realize how much I DID know, taking away my usual focus on how much I still didn't know. Not sure if this will help anyone, but I'm happy to say I'm totally over it and feel very confident at work now. 😊 Great video as always.
So simple for viewers (us) to tap a ready made video to watch. But I really wonder they really put in so much effort to create one content. Like like like
Hi Sadia 😊 I completely agree with this video. The two major points that I can connect are 1. Repeating the same thing again and again to gain confidence with it and 2. When someone accomplishes for something that have done I used to reply like you did earlier but now I started learning to accept it and started feeling more confident now. Also I request you to make a video to overcome Inferiority complex as many faces this issue in some point of time in their life.

That kind of video I needed to watch. I’ve been living in Canada for 2 years I came to work even I did not speak English well I am still struggling to learn and to speak, sometimes I wanna give up everything and just come back to my comfort zone. I know I have to practice to getting better but some days are really hard to keep trying. Today was the day that I was doubting of myself I was thinking if I am really capable to keep fighting to express myself better than I can express in Portuguese. I came to your channel and listening your voice I could see some light ahead 😂 Thank you so much!

The ability to speak in front of my cohort and not worry about being judged. To get through public speaking in school without having to feel so anxious; like I genuinely cannot breathe. And definitely, to be able to have a good conversation w/ anyone without it being awkward.
Pickup Limes has been such a source of inspiration and positivity for me since 2018. Her videos always seem to come at the right time, filling me with motivation and joy. She truly brings relatable content and adds so much value to life. Whenever I need a boost or feel like I'm lacking certain qualities, her channel is my go-to. Here's to the positive vibes she spreads! I'm usually more of a silent viewer, but I just had to express my appreciation this time. And here I am, finding myself back again on this video because I needed to re-boost my confidence.
I love listening you, watching your videos and just, “being with you”? It just make me relaxed, comfortable and calm. Thank you for everything you do ❤️
Love seeing your bloopers, Sadia. It makes me laugh and know that EVERYONE has those days/times when they aren't as put together as they'd like to be. That-in itself can make you more confident--getting over the obstacle!
Self-confidence has become part of my difficulties. And after seeing this, i literally almost cry. Thank you so much for your wise words. Hope someday i can be confident as much as u are!
I've been learning Dutch this year as well since I've been planning to move to the Hague, I empathize on how difficult it is, but we'll get it!! Thanks for all your videos, your channel teaches me so much 💙
Persistence is so important to this even though trying to achieve little goal gradually. We are born with pride and fearless. With growing up, we saw our weakness, fear and incompetence. Lots of us stop there, all we need is to accept who we are and to understand we aren’t perfect. The only way to be great is to do the best we can and then feel proud of it! Thanks for sharing your words
Trying new things was always difficult and it still is but I started realizing the things I have done and the things I am doing and then started, one at a time, doing more. Slowly slotting it into my schedule, being present. That's why your phrase speaks to me. "We over estimate what we can do in a day. We underestimate what we can do in a life time." It is important to take that moment out of the day and reset your mind away from grinding down and toward self appreciation, something I think we do far too little. Thank you so much.
Beautiful message! Confidence is definitely something that we learn and repetition is key. I love that I stumbled across your channel, thank you for you message beautiful soul!
You’re not just making videos on YT but you made a lot of inspiration to a lot of people all around the world. I just watched this and it's my first time seeing ur channel, I already a subscriber with no doubt.❤️☝🏻
Omg your timing is perfect. I’ve been wanting to watch a video on confidence and your video is the perfect one. Love everything you mentioned. In fact it put me in a different mood altogether. Love you and keep making such amazing videos. Love all the way from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
It was so nice to see the bloopers, you look even more warm and approachable, knowing that you are not always 100% composed and calm, like you seem in the videos. You seem like an amazing human being.
I used to be that person that would put myself down when people would compliment me on something I'd do well on. Over the last few years, I've grown and now just say thank you. I think that has really helped me with my confidence as well.
The people who surround you has a huge impact on your confidence. If your surrounded by people who u love, and the people who support u,your confidence level will be very high. If u r surrounded with people u hate , then.....u will hate your confidence level just as much. I am 12 years old, I am in 7th grade. I am thankful I have the proper man’s wages like food cloths and shelter, but there is one I just can’t seem to be fixing.. *MY PARENTS* . yes I know what u r saying, “u should be happy with what u have”.”without your parents u r nothing” and things like this. And I completely agree, parents are one of the most precious gifts in the world. But when u have parents who put u down, irritates u,and cuts u away from the real world and tells you that studies is the only thing that matters and only that will make u succeed, then, coming back from school is a pain.... My parents keep comparing me to my friends,my big brother and they do other things that annoy me a lot. This is when I really don’t like them. I don’t know how to become a little kinder to them,I generally just don’t have confidence especially my exams. If I don’t do well in my exam,I will be wasting time, effort, and worst of all , my dads money. Nowerdays my dad is really running out of money because of my brother’s expensive university and my school plus other thing that will make a our expenses very high.to be honest ,lately I have been very mean to my parents like screaming at them, and getting irritated at them for no reason,I am SUDDENLY acting mean probably because I am switching over to a teen and I am going through harmonal changes. I really don’t know if studies is really the ONLY way to succeed,or if passion is the right way. My self confidence these days has gone very very low,I am shy to even talk to my own brother. I really don’t know what to do to be more kind and confident.😔
I really needed this, and I love tea time tuesdays, you're my favorite also loved the ending! Your channel really bloomed me into someone I really love. Thank you 🌟❤
Love your tea time chats! Thank you for being such a source of calm strength. Tip for your learning Dutch! Try writing a journal every day in the language you are trying to learn, using only the words you know so far. Each day try to incorporate new words and eventually it will come! Good luck!
I love this message. It's good to see the behind the scenes and how you work your way to a perfect video. Often times we look at a finished product and how flawless it looks and beat ourselves down for not being as flawless and yet it's part of the journey. Thanks so much for sharing.

2:14 - 2:17 "damn it!" so cute! :) reminds me of someone I loved.
Thank you, just what we need sometimes! I really missed Tea time Tuesday too. Sending love ❤❤

Your smile gives me confidence than your speech such a pretty and worth smile I enjoyed a lot Thank you.

I love your voice talking about building confidence in ourselves.
It was so nice to see the bloopers, you look even more warm and approachable, knowing that you are not always 100% composed and calm, like you seem in the videos. You seem like an amazing human being.
This is not the video that i deserved... but the video that i needed
It was like I just made tea AT THE PERFECT TIME
OMG !! I missed your videos a LOT !!
I’m so happy !
Please can you make more of these videos 😊 they are really helpfull 😙 love you 😍
When you become Master of your goal that is how you get confidence means when you gain entire knowledge about that particular project.
I always get so excited when I see that you uploaded a new video 😍
You’re one person whose video I watch from start to end without forwarding or exiting halfway through ♥️ much love! You’re my role model!
confidence = competence + courage + complement + celebration
