  • “If It Fits Your Macros” is a very popular dietary approach. Simply put, the premise is that as long as you are eating the right amounts of protein, carbs, fats, the source doesn’t really matter, so long as you don’t exceed your macronutrient allowance. However, there are many problems with this approach, which Chris explains in this capsule.

I like all your stuff and currently binging your videos now. I have also shared your content. I sort of wish you'd stay away from that, "I gained 26 lbs in 6 hours" stuff. It cheapens the otherwise solid info you present. In another vid you mentioned you once ate 26 burgers...so I want to think you are kidding but you don't mention that you are...26 lbs in 6 hours is at or over 91,000 calories. I don't want to question other things you say as it appears your physiology and hormone knowledge is on point. Thanks!

I'd assume he didn't talk about adding 26 lbs of muscle/fat, but of filling his stomach with 26 lbs of food and drinks (plus a lot of water retention prb.) - take the 26 burgers and some coke, there you go +26 lbs.

@@DragonRaider5 26 lbs of food? You try it...lemme know. Maybe you can do it while sitting on a unicorn gazing at the sky watching a flock of flying pigs.

This guy seems really honest so I believe that when he tells he gained that much bodyweight, then I believe it's possible with water retention and carbs and whatever he did to accomplish that. I would like to know exactly how he did it (I'm not planning to do it myself btw :)

A properly designed natural bodybuilding diet needs to also meet micros. It also needs to promote testosterone and reduce cortisol. Proper digestion as well so you absorb and make use of macros and micros. Diet also needs to promote good sleep for muscle repair and hormones. So simply meeting macros is grossly insufficient for bodybuilding purposes
