Another great film with all my favourite places, alway a tough cycle but well worth it with all the rewards around each corner. I alway feel blessed this is all on my doorstep.
Wow wow wow!! Absolutely love this video, Argyll is/was my second home 🤩 You certainly showed Scotland off on its best side. The video is first class Markus 👍🏻
Thanks a lot Greig! We loved cycling there, and nice to see the comment, that was the intention. Argyll rates very high as my favourite place in Scotland, really hard to make a selection.

Thanks a lot, and also for ordering the books! I loved the John Muir Way, we cycled only a short stretch of it, beautiful in the rain as well. There is another film in the making in Ayrshire, we could already spot Ailsa Craig from the southernmost point on the Mull of Kintyre.
Yet another fantastic video. Argyll is my favourite part of Scotland. Contrasting coastline and severe lack of traffic. Still discovering unknown parts, thanks to your help.
Hi Lee, glad you enjoyed it! It's a wonderful part of Scotland, and I am looking forward to back soon for another, but smaller, adventure. Working on a follow up book to Great British Gravel Rides now, and there won't be any shortage of routes in the west of Scotland. Further down Ayrshire is also superb for cycling.
Stunning film Markus. Argyll is really underrated. We stay in Lochgoilhead a lot, but I've never brought my bike before. Never thought to compare it to Patagonia!
Thank you! I cycled up from Ardentinny shortly after a trip to Chile & Argentina, and there were moments where I thought wow, this is as stunning and so much closer to home. You should join us for the Dunoon Dirt Dash, this year's route will be less hiking than previous years.
Thank you for showcasing Argyll in such a brilliant light. We have so much to offer here but it's still an area under explored! I saw you all at Carry Farm and met Jenny and Mark up at the ark above Tighnabruich, just a magical experience 🙂
Hi JR, we had loads of material! I am working on a feature film about gravel cycling in Britain, which will feature Mark and Jenny as well, and should be out around Christmas this year.
Thank you! For bikes, Jenny is on a titanium Sonder, Mark on an Argon18 Dark Matter and I am on a Kinesis Tripster AT. All on Schwalbe tyres, maybe an easy one to guess (:
Yepp, not in this one though. But just finished a trip from Inverness to Glasgow on 28mm tyres and one gear, great fun. More on the Cyclingtips website.
A truly stunning part of the world. I love it more and more each time I visit and each time I see films like this.
Hi Hugh, thanks a lot! There is always something new discover as well.
Loved that Markus. Another brilliantly put together film - with three of my cycling inspirations together 👌
Ahhh, thanks Richard! And all the best for your own journey soon!
Lovely film - you have a great eye Markus
Thanks a lot Simon! Big credit to Maciek as well, working as a team on shoot three was a fab experience.
Fantastic film. Thanks for all the effort you all put in.
Thanks a lot!
Markus, da ist Dir wieder ein toller Film über Wild About Argyll und Schottlands Adventure Coast gelungen - herzlichen Glückwunsch!
Dankeschön Wilfried!
Great film...inspiring as always to see them Markus 👍🏻
Thanks a lot Fraser! Next one to come soon (: First a three-day bike ride.
A great atmospheric film showing the stunning (and wet!) beauty of Argyll 👍🏽
Ahh, glad you liked it! I think the wetness is an essential ingredient, although the sunshine was very welcome too!
Enjoyed the film immensely , everybody needs inspiration ( I certainly do ) . You show Scotland at it's best regardless of weather.
Thanks a lot Andrew! We had a fair bit of rain, but I always think that is what makes the west coast so stunning.
Beautiful footage guys, keep it coming!
Thanks a lot Ruth!

Indeed, so much amazing riding in Argyll. Oh, and swimming too, Dan did a fab job to convince us!
Magnificent 💗 thankyou for this piece of you
And ride on 🚲
Thanks a lot Allanna! It's been a great adventure, worth sharing! Thanks for watching!

Absolutely superb film! And showed off Argyll & Bute amazingly well 👌😎

Another amazing film. Thanks Markus. I cycled the John Muir Way last month thanks to your inspiring video. It was fantastic.

Look forward to your next book. Just back from touring the ayrshire alps and the Galloway forest. Definitely be back.

Another excellent route and video and to top it all off, you can see my house at one point.
Top marks all round.
Fabulous, thanks a lot for watching it! We had a fab time!
Markus, now in its complete form, it’s another beautiful film. 😍 If I had to pick out a highlight, it’s probably the “pouring a dram” scene! 😉👊🚴🏻♂️
Hi David, thanks a lot! And that colour of the dram was well chosen, it fits in perfectly, or?
It definitely does, Markus, but the whole film’s a treat for the senses again. 👊♥️
@@davieislay Thanks David! really loved working on this!

Hi Alison, thanks a lot for the kind words! A really special part of Scotland, I am looking forward to be back soon!
Lovely.
Thanks for watching!
Would love to see a full length film of your adventure!

Brilliant!! What a part of the country! Given me some inspiration to get my bike over there 😎❤️
Glad you liked it! Check out the route if you like, I linked it in the description. Or pick a random place, anywhere in Argyll is stunning!
Awesome stuff 👍
Thanks Steve!
Jetzt mit deutschen Untertiteln noch besser für die Gäste aus D-A-CH! Vielen Dank Markus! 👍
Gerne doch! Ich hoffe meine Deutsch ist nicht zu eingestaubt (:
"Everyone was in high spirits when we stopped at the distillery.,"😂
Well spotted (:
loved that. Beautifully shot and put together. What bikes are you all riding? Thanks
Thank you! For bikes, Jenny is on a titanium Sonder, Mark on an Argon18 Dark Matter and I am on a Kinesis Tripster AT. All on Schwalbe tyres, maybe an easy one to guess (:
Bucket list.....
Nice one! Thanks for watching!
How can we find out the music to the video?
Hey Chris, once I am back on my desk I’ll post the playlist in the video description - should be up tonight.
Again Marcus ... 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you for watching!
Does your route exist as a gpx download ?
Hi Dave, yepp, have a look in the description for the Komoot link. I would post the link here, but YT doesn't like that.
Are you still riding single speed mate?
Yepp, not in this one though. But just finished a trip from Inverness to Glasgow on 28mm tyres and one gear, great fun. More on the Cyclingtips website.
Wow! Why cycle around the World when you can cycle around Argyll! ...*taxi*...
Indeed (: Hope you are getting on well on your trip!
