Splendid video. So many have been waiting and needing this! An offroad cargo ebike that can carry heavy weight for long distance is what all campers and outdoors enthusiasts have been waiting for. This opens up a whole new market for ebike manufacturers. The video we all really need and want to see next is its loaded capacity of 390 in its offroad environment. This is what we have been waiting for for so long. The performance of max load offroad is what this new market should be showing and improving on. 😊
There will possibly be more videos to come. I am more interested in the volume capacity, as winter trips will require that. E.g. warmer sleeping bag and mattress are not overly heavy, but bulky, and that is where a very minimalistic setup falls short. I have also cycled the bike without motor assistance on a few occasions now, and it is doable too.
Coastal path to Findhorn and Culbin, my neck of the woods and so beautiful, especially when the sun's out. Glad you had a great trip and enjoyed the film 😊
Another beautiful and well edited video and showcases Moray / Speyside perfectly! Nice to see a coffee stop at Kula Coffee Hut at Duffus included, one of my favourite
Thanks a lot! We loved it - sad to hear about that. There is a bigger version of the bike, did you see that? I met the man who designed it, and he is quite tall (:
@@reizkulturI am 200 cm tall and did a test drive. Just 15 minutes. Unfortunately I found the handle bar not high enough. Too “sporty” bend forward position for longer rides. A XL frame would be good for people taller 195cm.
@@reizkultur yes the “large”. May be raising the bar would do it. But better would be a frame that grows proportionally . Meaning distance saddle and bar growth too a bit.
Really enjoyed this, great video Markus! You definitely had all weathers. What were the chances of seeing you both in Tomintoul on that soaking wet evening! The rest of the trip looks ace too.
Not as such, most of my films are using bikes in scenic locations. The bike is great, I am using it for everyday errands in Edinburgh as well. It is a different bikepacking experience than the minimalisitic experience I am used to, loving it so far.
Hi Markus, greatly inspired by you. I am visiting the UK, currently in Norwich. I have found myself a lovely single speed bike, and am looking to do a short biketouring trip. I have bare essentials, but no camping gear. Is there any route you think I would enjoy in particular? Thank you
Ahhh, that is great. If not too late, I desigend a nice bikepacking route on tzhe Yorkshire Coast, Route YC, which is very varied. In Scotland, I would recommend the John Muir Way, and the route I designed in the Cairngorms, both have stunning scenery. If you want, check out the Bikepacking Scotland website for both routes? Happy travelling!
Hi there, it ls an amazing video, really appreciate it. I'm thinking about get my self a orox 14R. How many times do you require charge the batteries and how many kms have you done in 3 days? Thank you
Hi Alexandre, a great bike. We had two batteries on the bike. With this setup I manage to do about 150km with 2,000m of climbing. For the trip, we did around 240km in three days.
Hi Paul, in a hired van, as I transported both bikes for the project. One bike would fit in a small van, tried that for test riding a route in Yorkshire. I am still to try to get it on a train, but will do that soon.
Love Findhorn, my favourite place on earth, sadly the coastal peninsula is getting pretty badly eroded between Findhorn and Burghead, but some cracking beachy smeechy singletrack 👌
Great trip on great bikes! Did you mostly sleep in hotels and recharge your batteries every night? How many kilometers is the range fully packed with two batteries? I suppose that these heavy bikes are almost impossible to ride without electricity, aren't they?
@@SD_Alias Yes, we stayed in accommodation due to the weather, but could have camped one night - full range with two batteries, packed & hilly is around 150km. And while not a lot of fun, you can ride without if needed, but it’s an effort (:
Fantastic camera work on a great trip! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot. Loved working on this, and as I have the bike now, I will post more adventures (:

Love riding the Moray Coast and that coffee shack at Duffus Castle is 👌. Great photography too!
Thank you! We really liked it, those beaches are special!
I am glad to see videos of the bike, and the scenery is perfect. I own the R14 version and I can relate to carrying up those stairs, oof.
Thanks for watching! Scotland is pretty amazing for the bike, we loved it! And yepp, those steps (:

Thank you (: And the cafe was awesome!
Marvellous. Great adventure and an awesome edit - have a sub :)
Thank Brian!
Amazing... Makes me want to get out on my bike!
Awesome, thanks a lot Douglas!
Beautiful as always Markus.
Thanks heaps Esther!
Such an amazing video. Would love to ride one of these beauties in the countryside. Unfortunately I am too tall.
Nonetheless keep it up!

Thanks so much Charlie! Yepp, what a chance evening, we were delighted to see all the bikes & nice people (:
Fabulous... just fabulous....
Thanks Mark, it's been a pleasure to work on this!
Do have a review of your experience and thoughts of the bikes?

I'm intrested to know how you got the bikes to Inverness? They look way to big to go on a train.

@reizkultur That's a video to look out for then 😊👍
@@pauldenney7908 Soon - and there will be a nice film with beautiful autumn colours in Canada soon.
Looks fantastic Markus. What drone are you flying now?
At the moment an Air 3 - but also just about to try the Mini 4 Pro

Yepp, agreed! And we LOVED the water taxi as well. Just a short boat ride, but Jane was really nice and somehow it fetl like a proper adventure.

different :)
Thank you for watching!
What a wonderful video. It reminds me of the guy who took a R&M Load 60 around King Alfred's way with his dog th-cam.com/video/GX_uhdP3SM0/w-d-xo.html
Thanks heaps Simon, will watch this later!
