Fantastic. I have been looking for a decent video of this area for ages as I stay in Dumbarton and Dunoon quite a lot and this hits the spot nicely. Very informative. I will be visiting the places that I haven't seen now.

Heya, thanks for the video I appreciate the effort this was great to watch as ive stayed all over Scotland and in many of these places on the video. It was good trip down memory lane, I do recall seeing submarines in Dunoon when I was younger back in the 90s. I almost forgot I stayed there until I seen it on the upload hehe.

Fantastic video. I just spent last weekend at a cabin at Loch Awe and visited lots of those places. Just stunning scenery and locations in Argyll. A few more places to add to my list now after seeing this 😀

Thank you David. I really enjoyed my trip to Argyll - not such an easy feat from Sydney!

Excellent photography. Very nice. Really enjoyed watching. I know that part of the world very well and you capture it very well. Thank you. Only one criticism the sound needs to be improved.

I was going to say the EXACT thing. I love the photography, the history, the stories, but I can't take the sharp whistling of the "S" sounds on the audio.

The Viking "king" was Magnus Barelegs, if I'm not mistaken. I need to get back to both Arran and Bute

Interesting and well produced video. Though Kames Castle and Wester Kames Castle, on the Isle of Bute, are privately owned, and not open to the public (11.01 ). But I think you can rent a cottage in the grounds of Kames Castle. Not sure how you got access to them.

I carry the most famous clan name from that region, and yet I've never even touched the soil! A disgrace, for sure. I was born close to London, and have migrated to NW England, so am getting nearer to the land of my Grandfather! It's wonderful seeing this footage, there is so much history in that soil! I'll be up there someday, breathing that air. No doubt about that....
